Doflamingo is just pretending to kill Moria to fool the World Government.
In reality he's gonna recruit him to his secret cause, just like he wanted to recruit Crocodile. Moria now has no choice but to accept after all.

Thank you! I always look forward to your releases. You're awesome.
I can't quite express the joy I have that Part 6 is getting scanlated. =(
You guys are awesome, thank you and I hope you keep going.
If there is no risk of death, then no reader would care at all about any major injuries, hits, explosions, stuff like poison attacks, etc., that happen to any named character.
Plus when someone is faced with an obviously stronger foe and put in a situation where he is about to be killed, it would be impossible to keep the reader interested and on the edge of his seat to see if they survive, because he KNOWS they will.
It makes those kinds of things bland, uninteresting and predictable.
But, One Piece is special and it has sort of worked so far. As long as Oda still manages to make things interesting I don't mind…
I love chapters like these. They give me a nice fuzzy feeling that I only get with One Piece.
Also, Robin wins.
Does anyone know what's with Franky going "eh?" three different times? =/
I like your translations. Can't wait for you to finish
Hopefully his appearance will finally bring the full explanations on what the devil fruits are, where they come from, how many there are and other important stuff…
I can't believe such a central part of the story has been pretty much in the dark for almost 500 chapters.
Answer this first: Explain himself to who? Who exactly is going to make Kuma pay for disobeying that order? Being the "most obedient" shichibukai doesn't mean he's a completely obedient shichibukai.
It's the same reason Kuma left Thriller Bark–he started to lose favor in the mission when he found the SHs were so weak from that battle. So, he offers sacrifices to save everyone else--in the end Zoro was the one who was sacrifice. It's just his luck that he survived.
Really, I don't get why so many people are upset that Kuma didn't kill anyone--there's a perfectly reasonable explanation outside of "plot." Kuma didn't care for killing them in the first place--fuck the World Government.
Finally some sense in this thread!
Another thing to consider is that most likely Oda brought Kuma to Thriller Bark for this exact thing to happen, he planned it since he appeared. It's not like he wrote himself into a corner and this was the only thing he could come up with to make the strawhats escape successful…
So give him some credit and wait a bit to see how things turn out.
