Anyway, one of the funniest episodes he's done. I really cracked up when he put the sunglasses on Franken Nerd.

he is so right. this is exactly what happened to me as a kid! i rented the game. played for half an hour. got stuck and my entire weekend was wasted on this crap ass game i rented.

I saw it. Pretty good. I've never played Milon's Secret Castle and, boy howdy, I'm glad I didn't. I think my favorite part was when he was reading out of the NP magazine and in the Classified Info section they had a guide on how to "Get Started"! Awesome.

Nice little documentary-like video on the Jaguar. Looking forward to him cussing out some games in Part 2. Honestly though, I think even he realizes that his videos and popularity are beginning to decline.
Oh, I did like that little montage with the game controllers in the opening.

It was one of the many different types of Genesis/CD models made by other companies that SEGA allowed to make. X-Eye was made by JVC and was basically a SEGA Genesis with a SEGA CD in one console.
It's rather difficult to come across and I've not seen very many spring up on eBay. Unfortunately, mine doesn't work and granted, I only paid $5 for it, I was still optimistic it worked. Guy who sold it to me couldn't guarantee it worked since it didn't come with the cables (although all of Genesis' cables work just fine for it). It boots up, but won't read any Genesis or SEGA CD games. In fact, the CD drive doesn't even turn on.

Pretty funny episode overall. I like the input of Ronald towards the end and the Nerd's fake puking routine. The toilet joke was perfect and the final scene was truly cringe worthy. Nice job Nerd!

This guy made my day. His reviews are hilarious and both entertaining, because I used to play some of the games he reviewed as a kid. So much props to him.

I got some laughs out of the ''real jaguar'', his black house cat, running around like that, since I've used a flashlight to produce the same effect with my own. And also it peeking out from underneath the console in the opening, to signify the bad luck involved.
Those mutant consoles his friend cooked up were pretty cool too.

Wish i had the technical savy to build consoles out of kitchen utensils.
I find his reviews insanely entertaining and even a little enlightening at times but the "jokes" are never really that ha ha funny, Id get more out of it if he just went a little more in-depth on the games and random trivia and phased out some of the poo jokes.

There's a card game out of him and the nostalgia critic, I bought the pack of 40 cards for $9.51 then I realized… I don't really want this shit. Hopefully the site refunds me, as the stuff is a preorder but they make you pay up front.
EDIT: He refunded it. Damn, that was quick, not to mention it's almost 2am on the East coast.

that was actually a really good review. no over the top theatrics, just tell it like it is. I always wanted to know what the NES version of metalgear was like, since it's so popular now-a-days. and now i know why it's called metalgear too. :)

agreed. why didn't he get the musician to play with him again. or a guest star or something. it was neat to see the "first videogame system ever" though. i think the best part was when they were playing with the dots in the begginning. that says a lot about the games. :P

I can guarantee you Nerdy Turdy was used because Shit Pickle received heavy criticism from the fanbase, with people telling him not to use it again.
Which in turn he could easily say "Hey, I didn't use SP again like you guys said." :P
And after seeing the Odyssey, I'm much more glad I was born in the mid-80s. Went through Nintendo's and SEGA's beginnings. :x
