What will you do with the Death Note if you have it. First off, I'll judge criminals like Light Yagami did and call myself Kira. Whenever I watch Unsolved Mysteries or Americas Most Wanted, I'll take out my Death Note and write down the names of the fugitives and make them die of a heart attack. Kira is the Japanese word for Killer.

Incorrect. Kira is Engrish, it's the byproduct of the Japanese trying to pronounce "Killer". Seems it became so popular it was adapted for the English versions as well. But I could be wrong, I like the anime but I don't know much info about it so the author could have intended "Kira" for all I know.

I honestly wouldn't use it because of that "any one who uses a Death Note will neither go to Heaven nor Hell" rule Ryuk wrote on it.
Preferably I would like a Death Note that would cause Ryuk to do special attacks like in Gash Bell. Then I could use it to have fantastical battles against other Shinigami's and their human partners.. all while still being the top student in Japan.
As I've said before, Light = Kiyo under different circumstances.

Okay, clarity: The very last thing that is said before Light dies is that in the Death Note world, there's no Heaven or Hell, regardless if you use the Death Note or not. There's only Nu (Nothingness).
What I found funny about that statement is that there's a Shinigami named Nu, second only to the Shinigami King. Was that statement saying you go to this guy who eats you or something, or you just fade from existence? Probably the latter, but you never know…
Personally, if I had the Death Note and had no moral restraint against using it, I would use it to not only judge criminals, but judge those that are not contributing actively to society; I.E., those on Welfare (who are not disabled), drug addicts, dictators... basically, those who impact society negatively.
But I don't believe in taking another's life... unless it's the only option.
I called it wrong, so long ago. I guess this needs to be changed.

Power corrupts, he may have started out with good intentions, but in the end, he became too cruel and violent.
When he got rid of the note and chased after "Kira", I liked him best, he was "human". But with the Death Note, he was pure "Shinigami".Reason why I'd write that in my Death Note, to make sure I never turn evil like that.

You know, after L died, I kinda wanted the series to go as the anime ending shows it, with Light as the CEO of some MASSIVE corporation and like slews and slews of bodyguards. It would be badass to have some epic widescale "Kira Corporation", with Light publically admitting that he's Kira and challenging anyone to come try and kill him.
I called it wrong, so long ago. I guess this needs to be changed.

What he never realised that since the Death Note can alter the things a person does before he/she dies (so long as that action doesn't kill anyone else) he could have had written the name of any women causing her to have sex with him or anyone he wanted before she died:D
He had the world's only tool that could get him laid anywhere and anytime!!! Or at least, give him a free show!!!

Yeah, because someone who doesn't know Light and all suddenly coming to see him, having sex with him, and leaving and dying isn't suspicious. Not to mention they could do a DNA test on the victim and find his DNA on them.
Furthermore, it's a Shonen Manga. It was meant to teach a moral lesson, not be about some crazy sex hound.
Third, banging random women is a sure way to get AIDS… or at least the clap.

IMV, the coolest part of the Death Note is having an invisible Shinigami as one's personal familiar. I'd keep the Death Note (I don't want to kill anyone, even with that kind of power there's no one I hate at that degree) and just talk to the Shinigami. Maybe feed him/her some apples. :)

Notice that the Shinigami only died if they used the Notebook for the one practical purpose it had: killing someone to save the life of a loved one. any other reason is either too petty or is because of a god complex (in Light's case).
Ryuuk wasn't stupid. He knew if he wrote anyone else in the Warehouse's name besides Light's, he'd die, because it would be preventing Light's demise. Ryuuk didn't really regard light as anything more than a tool for his amusement, just as Light regarded Misa as a tool for his world conquest. Everyone in Death Note was a tool of another person, pretty much.

After all, Humans or bullets couldn't touch him. But he could touch things in their world (example, the apples)
