If critics were praising the movie, that would be a catastrophe. By next week that movie will be in 4 place
What pisses you off?

Timbaland pisses me off.
He blatantly STOLE some Finnish guy's C64 chiptune and used it in one of his songs.
-
@Radical:
high school was horrid
waking up dead early in the morning every goddamn day to do the same routine while seeing the same faces over and over again for 8 hours.
High school for me was terrible as well. Nothing but nerds yappin' about PWNin' newbs and Halo and Adult Swim and some shit about "the third disc" or some gay nerd shit. Worst part was I was tricked into believing it was a high-tech, state of the art facility. It was merely 200 stinky nerds crammed into an old Sears building.
So happy I graduated.
So, apparently Meet the Spartans is sweeping the box offices.
My country, full of idiots.
My sentiments exactly.
Never underestimate the power of very stupid people in large groups. If Larry The Cable Guy: Witless Protection ends up going to #1 its opening weekend, I will officially announce my hatred towards America and convert to Islam.
-
200 stinky nerds in the same building…
What does that make you then, Tommy Swoes?
-
A self-hating nerd.
-
High school was pretty awesome for me. I went to a vocational school in Tampa and was basically the smartest person there, so all the teachers let me get away with hardly doing anything. I majored in journalism, which was actually fun, so. Yeah.
College sucks in comparison. I think mostly because I'm going into debt paying to be bored and miserable and do awful tedious work. When it was free, I could handle it. But now as soon as I finish, I get to spend all my hard-earned money for the next few years paying off some of the shittiest four years of my life instead being able to save up for a down payment on a decent house. SWEET DEAL.

Not being able to sleep in pisses me off to no ends. Especially if I've had a hard night sleeping. Thus is the life of a full-time college student.
Also being in-between jobs pisses me off.
-
To tell you the truth, my new signature is actually pissing me off. It's so hypnotic sometimes I just find my self staring at it, and I have to snap myself out of it @_@
But then again, my sigs change about once every 1.5 weeks, so I'll be able to make it
-
What did you expect? Those colors cause a pain in the eyes.
-

Yeah.
Which is why I'm gonna work for a year to get on my feet before going to school(if I even want to)
Just need another year to sort my life out and figure out what to do with it. be a good idea to get some cash for shit like car insurance and other things I'll need when and if I go to college.
and Taboo, you're one of those member who is not allowed to change their avatar due to how iconic it has become.

You know what grinds my gears
Head-on
and any knock-off of the commercial -
The awesomeness of getting my first college acceptance letter is out weighed by my persistant cough and sore throat that won't go away despite me drinking plenty of liquids and dissolving what feels like five bags of cough drops.
-
My experience with high school was a forgettable one, assholes in every class annoying me with their tired jokes, pop culture references and poorly made insults but to be honest I did make myself a target by being so outspoken luckily most of them have dropped out.
-
It is literally like 0 degrees, has really high winds, and is snowing.
I will be pissed if I have school tommorrow. And I probably will.
-
Warp, you know as well as I do that the High School districts in the Chicago suburbs have streaks to protect, they will never cancel classes, at least that was how it was for me the four years I was there.
-
Yeah then again I lived in Colorado for about 8 years. Chicago is much more easy going with canceling school I thought.
-
Maybe, I never had a day of school cancelled when I was in High School that I can remember, the only way they would ever cancel classes would be if it was a raging blizzard at like 5-7 in the morning and they couldn't get the busses off the lot and even then we might only get a late start. Other than that all we got was a lot of "man up, nancy, deal with it".
-
I've concluded what One Piece is: The front bezel for a LS-120 "SuperDisc" drive. It's IMPOSSIBLE to find, and a bunch of freaks with beards want it. They probably shipped them to Raftel when they didn't sell well.
-
First of all I must say that I adore my class on the legislative process. What I hate about it is that it's only a 3-4 hour class. I'm such a political geek and news junkie that I love reading the news, tracking bills, keeping updated on elections, etc.
On the other hand, I've recently, as in the past year, become cynical about the modern American political system. I should say that I'm voting non-partisan in the Washington state primary.
-
You do realize that Washington state has a caucus system, not a primary, right?
-
Yes, Festizio. I do. But the local political literature here is calling it a primary. :/
-
Oh, well they shouldnt, it invalidates the 2 weeks i spent in PolySci 146 learning about the nominating process and the reforms that have taken place in the last 40 years. Anyhow, isn't it impossible to be non-partisan when attending a caucus, granted I don't exactly know how the Washington system works, but it seems to me that especially in a caucus you need to have a party and a candidate to support, otherwise why would you go.
-
What you learned in your class is true, but Washington is weird. Here's how Washington works:
Everyone can either vote in the Democratic or Republican primary. They both work on a causus system. However, the Washington Secretary of State sends out three different ballots-
Democratic candidates w/ local issues
Republican candidates w/ local issues
Non-partisan w/ local issuesSo while I may not be participating in the either the Dem or Repub primaries, I still get to cast a ballot for local issues. I do have to declare my allegiance to one of those parties to participate in their caucuses. That doesn't stop me from voting strictly on local issues though.
I guess for convenience sake the whole process is just called the primary despite the fact it works on a caucus system :)
-
Wow, i feel lucky to be from Illinois now.

@fin:
College sucks in comparison.
College is amazing for me, simply because:
+Freedom
+Living alone
+I don't have to pay for it, anyway
+Living alone
+Living alone
+LIVING AWAY FROM OTHER FUCKING PEOPLETechnically, I have two other roommates [who are my best friends from high school], but I stay holed up in my room so much that they don't really exist unless I choose to acknowledge their presence.
I love hanging out with other people, but fuck, everybody can just stay right the hell away from me when I'm at home.

See, that's exactly why I hate college. Because I hate being around people and now I live in one room with another person who's really annoying and never get an ounce of privacy, whereas whenever I lived with either of my parents I would at least get my own damn room and wouldn't have to spend five days straight hearing someone WHINE TO THEIR PARENTS ON THE PHONE ABOUT HOW THERE WAS TOO MUCH SALT IN THE MARGARITA SHE HAD A WEEK AGO.
-
Just kill her.
And eat the remains.

protip: move out
then college becomes a vertiable buffet of fun and freedom
-
No way in hell I could afford that here. It's COLONIAL WILLIAMSBURG, so there isn't a whole lot in terms of nearby housing options, whereas the dorm's covered by financial aid.
-
Personally, I view college the way I viewed high school: It's an inconvenient stepping stone that I must endure in order to advance my own interests. I hate going to college, but I'll tolerate it and do my damned best just so I can move on with my life.
My undergrad years are almost over though, so it helps not having to take anymore general education courses. Lordy how I hated those…
-
Ha, yeah, I've had to RETAKE half my general education courses because I transferred schools after my freshman year and they didn't accept the same courses as GERs. RETAKING MATH RIGHT NOW IN THE SECOND SEMESTER OF MY JUNIOR YEAR, AWESOME.
-
I'm sorry to hear that fin fish. :( Yes, GERs are a pain in the ass. Likewise, transferring sucks. I know your pain as I've had to transfer a lot due to moving.
-
I graduate in the summer, so I'll finally be done with all this school bullshit.
…Except I'll have to teach it.
FUCK
-
Congrats Gohn! So you trained to be a teacher? What level and subject will you be teaching? All in all, that's great!
I'll be graduating around either fall of this year or winter next year. Damn I can't wait…
-
I hate how people are such asses even though you've told them repeatedly that you're doing your best with minimal amounts of things. Stupid guests at the stupid hotel… :getlost:

Yeah, customer service sucks. I'm convinced that Americans really do suffer from severe affluenza.

The lack of appreciation for Dark Cloud pisses me off.
-
I'm out of flan and that pisses me off. It's so good!
-
@Earthworm:

I liked it.
It was the second PS2 game I ever played (The first being Klonoa 2). -
I immediately like you. Wait, were those the demo versions, or full games?
-
@Earthworm:
The lack of appreciation for Dark Cloud pisses me off.
Oh man, I love Dark Cloud. I bought a little miniature windmill figurine because it made me think of DRAN'S WINDMILL.
Steve the slingshot is still the best weapon ever. I played as Xiao all the time because his stupid jokes made the annoying and tedious levels so much better. I think I still have him as one of my interests on Livejournal.
-
@Earthworm:
Wait, were those the demo versions, or full games?
The full versions.
I rented Klonoa 2 first, but it was damaged, so I took it back to Blockbuster and traded it in for Dark Cloud.I eventually bought both Klonoa 2 and Dark Cloud.
-

I'm guessing beatings will be handed out on a daily basis for anyone breaking the rules or just for fun.
-
@Earthworm:

I played it once and liked it a little…but I never really got far. Is the sequel better?
-
Dark Cloud would've gotten more appreciation from me if it weren't so boring and overrated.
-
I wish that Raze's Hell was so under-rated. It's a fun action game with great social commentary and killing Kewletts is great activity!
-
So I searched my name and apparently it's in this thread.

Goddamn flies…........
