I guess forgetting important things pisses me off. I have my mind set on it, I'M TOTALLY GOING TO GO ACCOMPLISH THIS TASK, and then 5 seconds later I forgot why the hell I'm in the kitchen.
Death Note was a good series the first time I watched it. Then I read the manga to the end, and felt it was good, but a bit too dragged out. I was always supporting The L throughout the whole series, but then came that disgusting little snob that thinks white is a good color to be wearing everyday. :D
The Kira fans kinda scare me. I mean, I bought a Death Note off eBay and do write down some names, but it's more a stress reliever for me than a serious I WANT YOU TO DIE RIGHT NOW thing.

I'd like to take back my hatred for the mail service and shift the blame to who really deserves it: people who take more than a week to ship something to you from ebay. I don't want that "but they have a real life to take care of" excuse, shipping late is shipping late. -
think it was a real smart and clever series that just didn't have much longevity. It's great to read through once, but going back over it again it gets pretty stale. Plus it peters out toward the end, and the stuff being added on simply because of the series' popularity (like that one-shot in Weekly Jump recently) is just plain terrible.
I read the first part like mad, but once Near and Mellow came I kinda slowed down and still haven't finished it.
At first the series kinda freaked me out, but after a few chapters I realized it was goofy.

I didn't just mean bad artwork, but also judging it by….....other stuff. Like just using the excuse "I don't like how its drawn. I was watching some DBZ in my club the other day and three people complained about the colors.

Uh…I must admit a certain degree of guilt only it's more with manga than anime. Usually once I get use to the art work, I will see if I am into the storyline. Then the artwork grows on me. Truth be told, I didn't want to watch OP because of the artwork, but thankfully, I watched a couple of the episodes and became hooked. Hellsing was another one I initially rejected due to the artwork. Now I kind of like it because of its uniqueness (I guess).

Why shouldn't people judge a series by the art? Usually, that's the first thing that attracts someone to a manga/anime. People go "Oh look, a bishie." and immediately dismiss stuff. Or they go "I like ugly/atractive characters" and become hooked.
Art is pretty much half the reason for reading a certain series (the other half being story, characters).
EDIT: Yeah, it's somewhat messed up people just stuff strictly on art. But hey, what do ya do?

I think I can understand being unorginal especially if the author didn't make the idea/cliche theme their own, but being unrealistic?:wassat: Apparently those people don't understand that the series is suppose to be unrealistic.
On topic and current, my computer having a lousy wireless connection so that any attempts to download stuff (even the ones that last only a couple minutes or less) are suspended in mid-download. This is especially annoying for things that will not work properly if the download is cutoff and then resumed.

What's even worst is when they acknowledge one series for being unrealistic but then criticize another for doing the same if you want an example of how realism can mar a series try reading Vagabond after reading Rurouni Kenshin or Samurai Deeper Kyo.

All the 4th Gen Complaints I hear are they're too ugly, like Magmortar and Probopass (but I mean, it's not like you'd expect the evolved forms of Magmar and Nosepass to be any different).

I for one never use the artwork as a reason for getting into a series especially when it isn't always great starting out usually it's for the concept,the characters ,or for the moments therein.
