Manga/Anime Characters that Piss you off/ you hate

I can't say I like every single member, but I like the Ryodan overall.
Although my favorite HxH characters are the good guys introduced in the Chimera Ant arc.

You are now my friend.
-
G_S, if it makes you feel any better, the only member I could see myself liking was Nobunaga, even though, yes, he had no real power, but that's what made him a little bit likable, because he didn't do shit. He was just a great samurai.
Interesting powers aren't always great. I thought that Snalnark and those other hard to remember names you mentioned did, indeed, have "unique" powers, but they were also stupid.
-

Wait, where did you stop reading? Bonorenofu first appeared in the chimera ant arc…

So basically, the simpler and insignificant the power, the more you like the character.
I can't think of what you said in any other way. And it's ridiculous to like characters only because they're in the minority in some aspect.
-
Personally I like most of the Ryodan. I just hate Feitan because he's a big douchebag.
EDIT:And that Tangela-like kid with the copy power is pretty lame too.
-

he was always there he first did something / spoke in NGL

It is? Gohn tends to always like the shitty underdog characters, especially when they overcome the odds by any means necessary, whether it be outsmarting their opponent, training hard at shit, etc.

but then your not liking them for being the underdog your like them for their actions as underdog, the training or the outsmarting, right?
-
There's a huge difference between an underdog overcoming the odds through those methods, as opposed to a skill fighters outsmarting his opponent or training hard.
It's why Rock Lee is [was] such a great character. He literally sucked at everything, but he worked his fucking ass off for years and can now ruin shit. And yet, he still has weaknesses by not being able to do ninjutsu and genjutsu.
The "actions" wouldn't be impressive if it wasn't for their underdog status.

And then you're liking that description of a character design. True that if a series was blasted with those you'd like them less, but it's different than liking the underdog because there aren't much like him.
Kinda hard to explain, but whatever. I'm not one to argue about reasoning to like stuff anyway.
-
Hm, it sounds like you're over analyzing a simple matter of taste. Literally!
-
Eh, am I really that far? I can whole-heartedly say I can't see ANY reason why you should like a character only because he's different from the others, or rather, force yourself to do that?
It's just.. guess it always goes down to that single damn word.
ILLOGICAL -

Uh, maybe because that person likes things that are out of the ordinary? You don't need a 'logical reason' to like a character. And it sure as hell isn't "forcing yourself" to do anything.
"Hey guys, I really like Usopp. However, since it's because he's dinky and is a really weak guy beating people fifty times stronger than him, I am actually forcing myself to like this characters and defying logic."
…?

ILLOGICALI think your problem is that you just don't see the appeal in that kind of character yourself, so you feel that therefore, there is nothing likable about those traits. I don't think it's a matter of choosing to like a character just for the fact that it is different from the others, but rather that the traits that these characters share in common with each other are what appeal to certain people instead of the more popular choices.

I didn't mean it like that, I got it from ID the sole reason he hated the whole Ryodan and loved Nobunaga was because they did shit and he didn't. If said reason to like Usopp was the same I'd say that, you didn't even mention for which reason [for example's sake].
Cosmic:
Meh, don't know how to explain it, but it's not what you mean.
Like, there's a black person in a series about normal life when the rest of the series is white. You love the black person for the sole fact he's different for the rest.
I know ID didn't mean it to be as bald as this, but anyway. -
Did you know they made him stop reading the series? Literally.
This made me LOL really really hard.

It was just in his case, and I mostly preferred him because of his design.
And if I only liked "simple" characters, then shouldn't I have liked Uvo too?
-
@Impel:
It was just in his case, and I mostly preferred him because of his design.
Bah, then you should've said so.
Case closed then. That kinda negated everything.
-
The Ryodan are overrated as hell, and aren't the most interesting, but a few members I like.
All in all, Impel has been complaining about the series in this topic for the past couple days, so all in all, I think he was looking for a reason to hate it.
On topic: Horo Horo's "hidden wolf power" in shaman king killed my interest in the series.
-

I'd just been trying it out, seeing what all the hype was about, and I just ended up thinking it wasn't my cup of tea. The Ryodan were just an easy bunch to pin it all on.
-
Here's one: Shindo Hikaru from Hikaru no Go. God I hate that fucking kid so much.
-
How far have you read? He becomes a lot better later on.
-
How far have you read? He becomes a lot better later on.
I've been mostly following the translation, but I'm to the point just after he becomes Pro.
-
Oh he becomes a lot better after the pro exam.
-
Then he becomes an idiot right at that last game in the manga. Not to mention the end itself was terrible.
-
@Rai:

Yeah no doubt about that. Well I wouldn't say he became too bad at the end of the manga again, but the ending was terrible. No doubt about that.
