the only thing is I grew up with the JL Unlimited version of Green lantern,yet have read Emerald Dawn form the 70/80's so I have no idea how this will turn out.
Alot of the DC/Marvel Hero Movies have not done for the past 2 years , well save for Spiderman.
I will try to find more on this though

Well, they probably will. Justice League didn't change the original white one to black, they added another GL (his succesor). Because in one episode the old white Green Lantern visited the new one or something. He was taking a vacation on another planet, I think.
I'd prefer if they'd use the newer one from JL though. I don't really know/care about the old one…

Each planet has someone who is a "green lantern" , right? And Sinestro is the villian.
EDIT: I just looked it up and there there were… 4 from Earth!? :blink:
I hope they choose Ch'p to be the Green Lantern.

Now I know how this will turn out. I read the comic so a sequel could happen in 2010 if they continue the series(A La Spiderman)
I'd like a movie focused on a villain trying to pull off something and is forced to face different superhero teams trying to stop him instead of one hero team fighting villains.
I'm kinda curious about promethius. (dont know what happed to him after the first time he showed up and messed up all of JLA… damn catwoman stopped him. of all people, catwoman?)
If the villian is anything like Movie Doom, I'll wait for a bootleg release, thanks.

I hope it's not Senstro, every media appearance a GL's been in in the last 30 years he's fought Senstro. Don't the GLC have other villians?
a couple others, but not as cool as Senstro.
I have the first volume of the green lantern showcase. Of the 30 or so first comics there's about 4 Senstro plots, maybe 3 more villians who will show up again later, and the rest is one shots with thugs and monsters.
I just hope they give us hal or kyle and not alan rayner, black test pilot with anger mangement issues, or some other wierd fussion of lanterns.

Hal Jordan is pretty much the only earth GL I like, but it's kind of tainted because of how many times DC has killed/revived him and how big of a boner all of the crybaby fans have for him.
Green Arrow's cooler…. so is Sinestro
If it's a franchise, I wanna see the Sinestro Corps in the final movie. And Cyborg Superman or Parallax are would be good choices as villians in the sequels too. But I'm getting ahead of myself since there's no guarentee that even the first movie won't suck. But we'll see
