Progress ho! Well kinda. I bought shoes for my Laki cosplay a couple months ago and was just too lazy until now to upload them. Also recieved my Ada (pandora Hearts) shoes in the mail the other day. They are fantastic and I can't wait for my PH photoshoot in May.
One thing I find crazy about the shoes is the sizing. The heels are a 7.5 and the flats are a 9. Both fit me. Well the 7.5 is a perfect fit, while the 9's are slightly big. But normally I wear an 8.5 and those shoes only came in whole sizes and the 8's were too small. lol oh my feet are weird. And enough rambling, picture time!

Thanks for the info. I might have to try that rigid collidion stuff out. It sounds interesting and not too difficult to use. The makeup part might be a little harder, to try and get the right color. Do you happen to know how well the rigid collidion stays on? Don't want it peeling off or anything halfway through the day. Also do you know how much I would actually need of it? I see 1 oz bottles and .25 oz bottles online.
My friend's neighbor unfortunately wasn't home yesterday, but he left a message for her. I'm hoping to have a backup plan just to be safe :D

Yepp. I got most of both my costumes done, I'm just missing easy key parts. Like the pants & undershirt on Luffy Oyabun and the crown for Ivankov.

From the picture on her wikia page, this seems the closest to me http://www.6pm.com/magdesians-amalia-r-black-stretch-nappa It seems like the kind of thing you could find at a Goodwill store if you have on nearby. I know the one by my house had a couple very similar to this.

Nothing is done, the collar isn't attatched, the shirt isn't hemmed. The tattoo is missing and I haven't made my eyelashes, but my wig came and I had to try it out.

I'm heading up to Cactusmomma's this weekend for some stitch'n and bitch'n. I'll mostly be bitch'n as my body is being used for two different fittings and even if it wasn't I don't have any fabric I need to work on my stuff. But my hubby will be working on stuff. Bought fabric for Blackbeard's coat today, as well as fabric for the sash, figured since I'm doing Alina's version of Devon, she'll have the yellow sash too. Saves me money anyway, lol. I almost did not buy them because I wanted to use my 50% off coupon on the most expensive fabric, but they were already on sale, so the coupon was no good. I talked the cashier into letting me use it this once. Saved like $20 =3

I'm trying to figure out a nice way to mount Ivankov's crown on my fro. I initially was going to just stitch it to the wig and call it good, but I wasn't really thinking. That would cover about the crown and also isn't really accurate, since his sits on the top of that magical hair. Any ideas on how I might do it? Wire was about the only thing I could think of and even then a good mounting system is eluding me. :/

Been working on a Piplup gijinka for my daughter. I am mostly pleased with how it is turning out. The bottom of the romper could have turned out better, but meh for a noob sewer/cosplayer like me I am pleased.

A kind of last minute project before Sakuracon. I've had the wig lying around for months after a dye experiment going from neon pink to a nicer dark pink. Originally a Bonney wig, I used it as a learning project for chopping, dying, and styling. Overall I'm pleased with the results and I hope to finish the rest of the costume for the convention next week.

It is freakin AMAZING. AMAZING AMAZING. The stuff here hardly compares. Their dealers room/artist alley is unbelievably massive XD
It seems a couple of my friends that went with me last year are interested in going again next year, and even more people are wanting to go, so I can't wait for next year XD It will be a blast~

The wig is my unstyled Juvia wig. although I think that colour works nicely for Dawn, so I might have to buy another one. So all I really have of Dawn is the hat without its designs. XD But really I don't have a con in mind for Dawn, so I don't really care. XD

Well I decided to be unlazy and take a picture of my minor Lisanna progress. Which is sewing on the collar. Guys..Guys…you don't even know how ridiculously proud I am of this collar. I had no idea how to sew it on or anything. Some minor imperfections but omg! yay me! Although hot pink thread would have been a better choice that light pink thread....especially since I can't sew straight lines very well...

Just finished this for Naoko. Rai's Sakura shirt is being given an extra panel in the back*.*Swear to god, these kids.. I fit it to her last night, fit great. Try it on her today, 6 inches too tight. WTF?
