Though I'd prefer it if there weren't any hiatuses, I have to say that playing the waiting game for HXH has really built up my patience. A one month break for One Piece? Psshh… I've had to wait over a year for HXH before. And I enjoy HXH more than OP, so that's really saying something.

I don't mind the hiatuses because I couldn't stand it if the manga was suddenly rushed. I really wouldn't be after another series like Bleach lol, which I did love then it went downhill. HxH is one of the few series that I read which really gets me excited. I mean it's the same level of excitement as when I first started buying manga when my collection was in the single digits haha. I try to keep my mind off how long we will have to wait for the anime because I would simply get too excited too early.

Doesn't have a hiatus doesn't mean the manga is rushed and bleach is anything other then rushed.

You know : I started reading this arc on MSN manga groups . Before Onemanga came to be . And now after that bit the dust too the arc is stil going .
I honestly am not that interested with this bloody arc to be honest .

I only hated the last chapter . Mainly because I read the original Parkinson version of it .

@Leftf4lol: I know Bleach isn't on hiatus. As for it not being rushed as you say, have you considered the plot lately? If he took the time off to properly consider his story rather than write whatever he likes each week (tell me if this isn't the case people- it would be a hard arggument to prove), then maybe he would be writing a better series.

In my eyes, the series just got better and better as it went along. I mean, the HXH Exam arc? Important? Yes. Enjoyable? Yes. But was it anyway near as complex and captivating as any arc that followed it? No. The series gets intensely better later on. As soon as you hit Nen it's all smooth sailing from that point on.

Yeah ppl should get over that bad time in the manga when it comes to the art. The chaps have all been done over now right?
It's just that if many were like me to see some HxH chaps releasing and being so fucking hyped only to see that art it would've impacted you greatly too. I remember backspacing and forwarding on OM from the chap with art I was use to this other stuff and couldn't wrap my head around if it was a joke or not.

Artwork is important but it isn't everything. Have you noticed for example as Bleach sails to the seas of doom and no return the artwork is getting bishier? Also remember Togashi doesn't have any assistants.

Well but the original version of that chapter was an embarasing array of barely recognisable scribble lines that looked more like sketches done before the actual drawing . It was horrendous looking and that Togashi produced it , long year mangaka that he is , is especialy shamefull .

He still absolutely thrashes Kubo no matter what, and Kishimoto for that matter, even though I still love Naruto.

I'll be honest I think even Kubo curently does a better job then Togashi….with that chapter .
At least his characters don't have forty lines inking them , (all of them unfinished too) .

Still doesn't take away Togashi's credibility as an author. At least his arcs are enjoyable. Although the anime will take forever, but when it does it will be 16 characters of awesomeness.

I don't care how long Togashi takes all the chaps Bleach will get to the time we get to HxH chap 330 it'll have more words and plot development then 3/4ths of Bleach. By chap 400 it'll have more.

Togashi is just better than Kubo. Honestly if HxH appeared weekly with no Hiatus's it would be take the no.1 spot from time to time.

while the art can be great in HXH, it's obviously more plot driven than anything else; and the plot never falters

As far as I'm concerned HxH is a match for One Piece, I put both series in my God tier alongside FMA, DB and YGO, unfortunately the latter 3 are finished. I will always be looking out for new series which could one day bloom into God tier.

Yet I still rank the series 11 out of 10. Even a God tier manga has imperfections, look at One Piece lol. (OP is one of the other 4 Gods in my manga list).

Okay just finished the exam arc and about to start the Zoldick family. Killua is a bad ass mofo plus the closeups with the psycho magician during the 4th round was some scary shit. I'm really loving this series.
