Hey, hey now. That kind of does seem plausible now. I actually always thought that Kaido was just going to kidnap Chopper due to his transforming abilities plus the awakened form with the rumble ball. But to have Kaido actually recognize the drug alteration would be epic. I mean he already is into the SAD and chemical weapons exchange. Would be nice to see him with some knowledge and not some "ugh big muscle" opponent. It would be fun to see Chopper being praised by the other Gifters and such as a marvel and awesome creature ( or monster ) to where he can feel a little accepted. Although I don't see Chopper betraying his nakama in any sense even if accepted as a monster in the Animal Kingdom pirates lol. I just have a lot in my head that I can't seem to put into straight text and it looks irrational.
What reason would there be to interfere with a man's departure?

I also believe Chopper's rumble balls might have an interesting role to play; my dumb prediction was tricking Kaido into taking fake rumble balls.
Kaido would definitely want to grab any opportunity to enhance his crew, and rumble balls allowing to exploit wide ranges of zoan abilities would do just that. It would also allow to put Chopper in the spotlight, and compensate for a lack of proper fights (I doubt Nami, Chopper and Robin get their fights this time around because of how powerful the villains are comparatively, but who knows? tag fights are always allowed and to paraphrase what Monet once said: "there is more than pure strength involved in a fight").It would be fun to see Chopper being praised by the other Gifters and such as a marvel and awesome creature ( or monster ) to where he can feel a little accepted. This arc is a rare instance where all the villains are crazy, impulsive and sadistic. Hawkins cuts people's legs and determines their fate based on cards; Kidd and Jack are fond of crucifixions; Drake gets scary when he turns into a T-Rex; and Doflamingo, the Joker, who threatens CP0 agents, starts sweating and trembling when he thinks of the things Kaido might do to him if he could no longer provide. Things can get dark (without going full-on Berserk).

I really want a chapter fully devoted to Chopper and some of interest in his training to achieve "full" monstrosity. Because I feel he is still hiding something, the controlled beast cannot be the final form. I'm tired of Chibi-Chopper.

The latest chapter opened a huge possibility for dumb theories. So I'll start with…
Kaidou send Eustass Kidd back in time as a punishment, through a portal that traveled back in time to Roger's era. Kidd became an apprentice on Roger's ship and later became none other than... Shanks the Red. He even pretended to loose an arm to save Luffy, but in reality he was only tired of keeping all that metal together. -
Speed reverts back to her normal personality midway through the journey and kills Tama.

- Big Mom and Kaido will clash and weaken each other enough for Luffy's alliance to defeat both. It is then that Akainu arrives with the other admirals (or 2 of them) to take the chance to kill both Emperors at the same time. "To think two Emperors would be so stupid as to create the perfect opportunity for us to take their heads for free.. Fools who can't hold their hatred back will only meet their ruin", he makes his move to kill an exhausted Linlin, but his attack is blocked by Marco.
- Everyone is confused, Marco says to Nekomamushi he is sorry but things changed since their talk. Akainu realizes it is not just Marco, all the commanders of the Whitebeard Pirates are there.
Akainu: "The commanders who were supposed to have disbanded are together… and protecting her on top of that?" What's going on, Big Mom!??
