Imagine, if you will, Luffy and his crew stranded in the middle of Raccoon City, the zombie-infested town from Resident Evil. Consider the following:
1. Who would be most likely to escape?
2. Who would last the longest, should escape be impossible?
3. Who would have the highest kill count?
4. How much ass would it kick to watch them work together and beat down on zombies?
Fun to imagine, if nothing else
they got a bite,they became a zombie ,strawhat loses to zombies ,and either ,the air they're breathing are virus ..they'll probably all DIE! ..if they don't get out of there quickly

In the games you can be bitten multiple times and not turn into a zombie. Personally though I think all of them would make it out… well maybe not Nami especially if she had to go up against a licker or a hunter. Ussop would pwn zombie ass though.
But yeah Nami's the only one whom I'd expect wouldn't make it out unless she got help from Luffy, Zoro, or Sanji.
I don't think robin would survive.
Her power is to sprout body parts, the zombies can bite body parts can't they?
And it's not like strangling them will help much. Poor Robin.
Anyways, Usopp with a gun or two would, as Aethos states, pwn so much zombie ass!!!

But back to the topic, well I don´t know what to think of zombies but I think that a it wouldn´t hurt if at some point some Oda includes some mystic parts or should I say higher power (I don´t mean Devil Fruits themselves with that). Personally I don´t think that encountering ghost´s would be to far off in this world. Or maybe meeting some sort of magician, alchemist or a mystic priest.
Hey, before you start yelling at me, it´s not that far off as the Strawhats going into space. ;)
Luffy punches from a distance (He's quick enough to avoid being bitten)
Zoro cuts them up (Like he'd be ABLE to be bitten)
Sanji kicks them apart. (There's a higher risk here for him to be bitten, but he'll quick enough to not be)
Usopp does some major sharpshooting and owns some zombie ass (He'll be attacking from a distance)
Nami uses Cyclone Tenpo to rip through some of the zombies (She'll also be attacking from a distance)
Vivi slices using her Slashers (High chance for her to be bitten unless she uses the Peacock String Slashers)
Chopper punches and rams the zombies using his innate transformations and the Rumble Ball (Very high chance to be bitten here… It's all physical...) He could also administer Vaccines if the need arises
Robin uses her hands to twist the enemy apart, simple as that. (Unless her arms got bitten, which there is a good chance of, she'd be invulnerable)
And just for fun:
Franky... He shoots missiles from himself. Enough said. (ZERO chance for him to be bitten.. He's a cyborg to boot)
Paulie would use Rope Action to whip multiple zombies into one position, which would allow for Vivi or Zoro to slice them up in one fell swoop. (Not a very high chance for him to be bitten)
If a noob like Leon could escape from there, the SHs will have no problems to come out.
Hah, playing Mercenaries earlier and I swear Wesker totally does "Shigan" as one of his QTE moves. I think Wesker is Nero and he'll release tyrants all inside the train.

If you can sneak up on him at his two spawning positions. Throw a incendiary grenade at his feet and then one shot to the head with Killer7 will kill him. Or you can keep your distance, and snipe him as he approaches, it's not very hard.
I'm going with Robin.
We already know that she can spout out about 100 limbs and more. She can easily render a huge mob of zombies useless and enjoy her tea. Four (2 on each) for the legs, four for the arms, and one for the neck and you got yourself a zombie that is going NOWHERE. Besides, she can probably rip apart the zombies into pieces. Ain't nobody touchin her..

Oh yeah I could so see Ussop doing that but he'd probably say "The great CAPTAIN Ussop has come to save the day!" in the manliest most macho voice he can.
If it were Sanji though he'd probably get all three of them killed mainly because he'd be doting too much on Nami and Robin to pay attention.

Don't underestimate Nami. To me she seems like the typical kind of badass heroine in zombie thrillers.

Strenght is nothing if you are slow as a turtle, a quick guy can hit a strong guy multiple times and if the strong guy is not quick enouph he will sure get beated.
first of all if you see a zombie you must be frightened second of all if he corners you your done for one punch and your dead.(exagurating) but still if he gets you then you will be toast

First off: Leon, Claire, Hunk, Sherry, Ada, Jill, and Carlos were in Raccoon City yet they didn't turn into zombies because of breathing the air. Because it wasn't spread through the air in the games. In the games the rat's in the sewer system spread the virus.
If you're going to go by the movies though realize that they're inconsistant and not canon to the actual series. So it wouldn't matter if a zombie breathed on them or if they were breathing the air. They won't turn into zombies that way.
Second off: The games are the canon version of the series. In the games you can be bitten or scratched yet not turn into a zombie. You were infected in Outbreak not because of the air but because of the rats in the bar that were getting into the food. Besides if it were that easy to turn into a zombie then no one would have been able to make it out of Raccoon City much less survive even a day. Hmm well then again it was proven that it was spread through the air during the mansion incident but then again RE2 proved that the virus was spread throughout the city because of the rats. Thus it wasn't spread through the air. Which proves that no you aren't going to zombify by getting breathed on by a zombie.
The whole "one bite or scratch and you're zombified" stuff is only from the movies which AREN'T canon.
As I said the straw hat's have a good chance at survival. Except maybe Nami since her only weapon seems to be something that's only good for party games as Ussop put it.
Although it'd be hilarious to see Half-Human, Half-Reindeer Chopper running around with a freakin gatling gun or rocket launcher.
Very good comparison with the Dynasty Warriors, Thedevil. I keep playing out the scenario in my head of the crew all taking on a mob of several hundred zombies and i just can't get over its amount of ass-kickery
I somehow see Chopper as not being able to do much compared to the rest, though he could move quickly, possibly treat an infection, and his Guard Point could help keep him from being bitten too easily
Nami's biggest role, i think, would be acting as the brains. Without her around, I can imagine Zoro, Luffy and Sanji just barging into the horde of zombies until it's too late to fall back.
I'm also not sure, but since Luffy's made of rubber, i don't think that a zombie bite could pierce his skin. I mean, Arlong could, but teeth were beartraps. Zombies seem to just grab and tear with their teeth, so i except they'd just keep stretching him out. I still think he could get overwhelmed (especially while waiting for his Gomu Gomu attacks to recoil back to him). I can also totally see Luffy getting mad and biting a zombie back. Then you've got trouble…
Also, i have my doubts that Robin could be infected by biting her extra limbs. She seems to be able to feel things with them, but when she was keeping guards from the gates in Alabastia, someone cut her and while she felt the sting but didn't bleed. Still, a bite would probably be enough to chase away that limb, even though she'd probably snap their heads off before that

We can expect some kind of super buff slowpoke who never seems to fall down or die again. Probably with body parts that even Zoros' super slicing skills can't chop off.

And Zombie teeth are somewhat sharp I guess; besides, the jaw of a normal human being is very powerful compared to the rest of the body. IOW, it will work.

I think there's a limit to friendliness O_o I mean, if they're gonna turn out not evil in the end, then it wouldn't be zombies. It'll be like, controlled villagers or something.

But the games are the canon storyline and no one gets infected by being bitten in the games. The only time that ever happened was in the movies. Thus the only way the strawhats could possibly die is by either bloodloss, too many wounds, or decapitation by a hunter/getting the crap beaten out of them or impaled by a Tyrant.
The movies are NOT canon. The movies are loosely based on the games and could be considered an alternate universe version of the games. Alice doesn't evist in the RE timeline. Nothing that happened in the movies happened in the actual canon. Thus the movies don't count.
