Nope, sorry. The last day is Friday September 28, and moving forward loops you back to Thursday September 13.
Yes, but place your mouse on the "One Piece" title in the scehdual. It gives out the new title.

Well I did what the instrucation said, and I got it to the Sept. 29th, and got the new episode title. So for my side its the legit title.

Nope, it'll SAY the 13th, but OP is in fact there at 10 PM. Awesome!
Of course "Caught Log" sounds rather odd to me, but I'm not a complainer. I'm more looking forward to the episode!

Yeah but I can't get to September 29 where the schedule should contain 'One Piece'. Instead it brings me back to yesterday.
EDIT: Nevermind I get it.
I can't believe we finally have a confirmed title! This is making me even more psyched now!
TV Y7 Hopes its a mistake thou >_>
Probably is just a mistake on the part of the TV Guide guys.
@Senshi:

We DON'T have a title. We have an air date. All the titles we've gotten are most likely user submitted titles.
Well, this is the title TZ has had for a while now.
Yeah. Besides, TVGuide doesn't have "user summitted titles".
TV Y7 Hopes its a mistake thou >_>
Yeah. I know it's not too big of a deal, but I'm kinda expecting it to be rated TVPG now.
bangs head on table
I will personally track down and beat the living shit out of anyone who complains about the episode titles.
These titles suck.
There's only one. And why do you think they suck? Would you like the pun titles back? Lol
EDIT: Anyways, if there's anyone still doubting the episode title, here you go, CN updated their scehdual page (click on the more showings tab).

I think he just said that because of my most recent post
"Caught Log"….my only problem is it sounds like engrish. "Stolen Log" makes a lot more sense.
but the log was never "stolen"
it was, however, "caught" in Skypia's magnetic pull
Ah..forgot that. But wait…if that was the case, then why was the episode called "The Stolen Log" or "The Log is Taken" prior?
It would be kind of cool if the could air two new one piece episodes. I mean DBZ is cool and all but it had its time and is still having it, I don't think having it gone for 1 week would hurt.

How about "A Barrel Full of Monkeys".
Would you like that better?!
@Lobster:

You know damn well I'm not bitching about the titles, but rather why the original was called such things if it never happened.
Proboally because it can be translated that way, as well. I'm not too sure, though.
All I know is that the Log Pose isn't stolen in the episode.
Didn't I already… nevermind...
KF translated the line Robin says as something like "The log has been taken by the magnetic field of Sky Island." So consequently the title was "The Log is taken!" Like I said, caught is really a much better way of describing what happened without the expectation that it'll be swiped by some monkey.
PS. Though many doubted you RomanGod, you win the prize of the day for your investigative reporting. Bravo!

Yay. Thank you. Just know that I won't report something unless I'm plenty sure it's true.
what did I miss? what did he report?
and oh… yeah let's not forget that in Japan many things can be translated many different ways. So just because KF translated it one way doesn't mean it's the only way... speaking of, I forgot I had their 229... i gotta go see it
Was just talking about the episode title.
oh okay… thought I missed something huge
P.S.( I can't believe I just saw the preview for the Digimon 5th season dub! YAY!)
HOLY FREAKING CRAP PLEASE TELL ME IT'S ONLINE!!!!!
Funi does this for all their dvds. They've done this for Dbz, FMa, and YYH. The only ones they don't do this for are the ones they don't license like Beyblade Yu-gi-oh!, and Shaman King.
Not true. I subbed like 20 eps of Beyblade and they had them on alternate angles.
Anyway now that it's on TV Guide I'll say that the subtitle title for that ep is almost exactly the same as that. I think there were only two exclamations though. So it looks like the dub titles will be pretty faithful to the original Japanese titles.
Hey now, I just had a thought. Remember how Funi said they'd be keeping the 4kids names for people and things in the TV dub for consistency purposes? .. didn't 4Kids call the Log Posse the Eternal Compass or something retarded like that? Funi obviously isn't calling it that… makes me wonder about some of the other things

Grand Compass, actually. "Eternal Compass" was the Eternal Pose. Though, that might mean that they'll be going the Viz-route for the broadcast-version. (Keeping the 4Kids names, unless they're just too inaccurate, like… you know... those two guys....)
But even if they don't, there's always the DVDs.
Not true. I subbed like 20 eps of Beyblade and they had them on alternate angles.
Oh, really? I thought all there releases were edited. Guess I got some discount searchin' to do.
Are they still going to call devil fruits "cursed fruits" to stay consistant?
More likely than not, yes.

Come over here so I can slap you. :silly:
I'm hopeful Devil Fruit will be kept, but we won't know until it premiers, will we?

The title on the Cartoon Network schedule only hast two exclamation points. ("Caught Log! King of Salvagers, Masira!") I'm inclined to believe that's how it'll show up on the episode.
Discussing the punctuation of an episode title two weeks before it airs. GOSH we're all way too eager for news…
Well, when we don't hear anything for a good month and a half, it gets kind of nerve-wracking.

Sixteen true dats.

Your wrong about the names of the people. Funi changed like 12 names, click on faq when you get to the site
Can't wait for the NEW One Piece dub. The 4kids nightmare is jsut two eps away from being over ^_^ I still wonder how Skypia will turn out.
Oh, really? I thought all there releases were edited. Guess I got some discount searchin' to do.
Yeah, I think Beyblade was the only case of a non-FUNi show getting FUNi subtitle treatment though. And I did so many episodes but only like 2 DVDs were ever made.
(as an aside, I never ever thought I'd write this combination of words in my life )
I love being able to work on shows with much more meat to them though, like OP and such.
Dang, that's sucks all of your work on Beyblade was wasted like that. Oh well, now you've got OP…
...to bad you can't do any translation notes, though.
Say, can you (or someone who's in the know) get a screenshot of the CN schedule with two exclamation points in the title. I wanna show the other translator who did that batch of eps, but I can't find any schedules that go that far into the future.
EDIT: As for notes, yeah I wish I could add stuff like that in. I was even thinking that like a pop-up video type of thing or that at least a subtitle track for notes would be neat, but I don't think that'll fly with the higher ups. I also don't think there'd be time to do them either, with all 8000 shows FUNi's been getting :P But maybe I'll ask anyway, it'd be neat if like we started from ep. 1 and then we got to add in stuff like that in from the very beginning.

Awesome, thanks. I guess I should've paid more attention on how to check future episodes

Haha MEAT! Get it?! HAHAHA.Mr.Mato.youre a riot!
To Gerchak:Nope I saw it only on….JETIX!(Thats the commercial)
To DirtMonkey:Were you asking ME about titles when you quoted me awhile back?If you were,I think the title is kinda like NAruto dub titles, which I like, but if the one with 3 exclamtion marks continues in other episodes,it'd get kinda annoying.....

Well, I think on the YYH DVDs there were just plain, non-animated menus with information, or maybe you could squeeze them into the subtitle scripts?
Dare I suggest, audio commentary? :ninja:
