Some YTPs do have some fairly catchy backing tracks.

Here's where the franchise lost all hope of redemption. Luckily even the creators disown this nowadays.

Oh wait. Different anthropomorphic franchise that Archie did a comic of that went horrendously awry at some point.
From I hear, the Nostalgia Critic happens to actually like the show, but wanted to rip into it anyways.
He praised Sonic SatAM, so I'm pleased.
And Sonic Underground and it's opening sucked balls.
One thing is for you to actually 'like' something, another thing is for it to actually BE good. That's why I love NC's criticism, he shows us the flaws it has but admits if they are enjoyable or not.
Why are they throwing magic, and why does the chick at 0:18 look like the villain from Power rangers?
You're not familiar with how Japan does Sentai are you?
Also, all this talk of Sonic SatAM makes me want to watch it. I've got the entire series on DVD, any episodes you guys recommend right now?

You know what's great is that they actually did a crossover with Power Rangers with that show.

Oh God I remember that.
No wonder why no one acknowledges Venus.

The episode were Robotnik makes a robotic version of Sally. I don't know but for some reason that's the first episode that pops out of my head when I hear about Sonic SatAM.
I love this thread.
I walk in ready to defend the blue hedgehog to the death and walk out extremely repulsed by the majority of everything post-1995… with exceptions of course.
DAMN YOU GUYS AND YOUR COLORFUL WIZARDRY

There is no defense for this.
At all.

All of it. In order as it was intended.
You can skip the pilot, and any episodes that were split in halves and had two stories in them, those were pretty bad.
Apparently even the internet isn't cruel enough to archive Ro-becca.

I still admit that I love that design for Eggman. xD

Oh I remember that. That was Power Rangers In Space right?

Oh good, I'm not the only one that hated the pilot.
EDIT: I'm starting from disc 2. First episode is called Harmonic Sonic

That design succeeds in being TERRIFYING AS HELL!
Just got done watching disc 2.
Man the SatAM series was great. Too bad about the cliffhanger in season 2…
New strategy: make good Sonic games.
Interesting strategy, Sega.
I like how in all their recent press releases, in order to hype up the upcoming games, they have to admit they've been not so good for the last decade and they're aware they were bad.
"SEGA is listening to what the fans want".
I swear, I think this is how Shadow came about.
Hopefully they'll listen to the sane side of the fanbase.
Didn't they make this same press release before Unleashed?
AND before Sonic 200-sick

SEGA: "But this time, we really mean it. Pinky swear on it, 'kay?"
SEGA releases Silver-centric game
Sega doesn't know what to do with Sonic anymore.
I recommend a solution involving Sonic, a loaded shotgun, and a rip-off of that one scene from Old Yeller.
I'd prefer that checkpoint scene from the Godfather.
Can't we compromise and have Sonic's head in the microwave a la The Last House on the Left?
…Wait, what were we talking about again?
My proposal:
1. Shovel out Sonics 5 through 8
2. Release 9, as all number 9's in a franchise are masterpieces
3. ???
4. Profit
It's successproof!
No franchise should even reach its legit number 9 sequel
What I mean is, they could reach their ninth title, but not their 9th direct sequel.
It worked for Mega Man. :/
True..
But at least the time between its predecessor and the release of the 9th one was fairly long.
Yeah Megaman is awesome.
Except for 7 and 8.
7 and 8 weren't bad.
Aside from 8's voice "acting".
And 7's Wily can go to hell. Seriously he was fucking mean.
And then some Japanese guy made 8-bit versions of 7 and 8, and made them much better.
So all is gravy in Megaland.

The reason I hate 7 is because of that Wily. I admit that's completely petty, but otherwise it's still a pretty mediocre Megaman game.
8 was a lot better. And I loved the hilariously bad voices. After all, Doctor Light was essentially anime Elmer Fudd.
But 8 still wasn't as good as the others if only for those goddamn snowboarding sections. I nearly tore my hair out when I found out I had to them again in Wily's Castle and they were even harder.
I like the retro treatment Megaman has been getting, but I'd eventually like to see something like 8 again.
Kinda funny that Mario, Sonic, and Megaman have all done "retro" styled games in the last couple years.

I haven't seen the Megaman fan movie, but I've heard it's good. So, I guess I expect this to be good.
And Jaleel White voicing Sonic? Awesome. He did a fantastic voice.

even the guy who did Sonic's voice from Sonic Adventure to Sonic Heroes was better than Jaleel White
Jaleel White is the only Sonic voice that counts.
Who does the voice for him in Brawl?
I could go for some chili dogs right now.
Who does the voice for him in Brawl?
The 4kids guy, Jason Griffith.
To be honest, whether you like him or not - I've always thought he sounded the most suitable for the role
YOURETOOSLOWYOURETOOSLOWYOURETOOSLOWCOMEONSTEPITUP.
Goddamn I hate Jason.
Jason was a pox.
Everyone that wasn't Urkel sucked at voicing Sonic.
Roger Craig Smith sounds pretty good so far.
Anyways, I was at Wal-Mart the other day and noticed they had a sonic movie in the Redbox, called "The Doomsday Project"
I haven't seen any documentation about this movie anywhere, so what the hell is it?

I'd assume it was the last couple episodes of season 2 of the SatAM, since that's what Robotnick called it and what the last few eps were all about, and even what the last episode was titled.
That's a possibility then. It was a more classic-looking Sonic…
The only sonic movie I remember was that Japanese one where knuckles had a cowboy hat, so I assume robby's right.

rahhhhhhhhhhhh
MMMYAHHHHH
Why do people keep bringing up memories I've repressed?
That film sucked so bad it's not even funny.
who are you to crush robotniks dreams.
Movie had good action scenes as I recall, pretty good animation, and the japanese voice track was pretty good.
The actual story was terrible, and the first half unrewarding, but still better than pretty much any of Sonic Underground or X.
