Guys, those screenshots really worry me. The actual graphics themselves look good, but it all looks a bit too SatAM. I'm sure the gameplay will be at least passable.

I think the Genesis games were the only one to have done Eggman/Robotnik the way he should be. Comical, a bit bungling and enjoyable, but still a legitimate threat.

To be honest, I thought the Sonic Rider rivals were pretty neat…
...but hopefully this leaves out Silver.
But I can't wait to see what that ominous shadow turns out to be.

Oh man, Enerjak? I think I had like every issue of Knuckles' series that ever came out. Never had too many of Sonic's. I do remember TURBO TAILS though, that was.. unique.

Oh man, I saw one of those Sonic comics in a supermarket recently. I bought it just for laughs, and it was so shitty that I almost subscribed to it, but apparently some hilarious asshole/4 year-old got to it before me and ripped out the subscription tag thing.
The issue had Shadow sacrificing himself for like the fourteenth goddamn time apparently, they referenced like all the other times throughout the issue.
Anyway, I might actually buy this game because Sonic Team is far, far away from it.

I can't stand the damn comic! When it started it was fine (minus some of the really bad dialog) but it slowly turned into a cheap fan-fic inspiring drama. I once had a huge pile of them dunno what happened to them all. My uncle keeps buying more of them for me even though I don't read it anymore so those just keep building up.

I remember the earliest Archie Sonic comics sometimes had Grounder, Scratch, and Coconuts in them (and they were less serious). But then they disappeared.
Oh, and I like Big, Espio, and Mighty. And Knack/Fang.

I think one of the few enjoyable moments from the comic was in #50. Half of the entire thing was Sonic and Robotnik beating the everloving shit out of each other as the whole building was being vaporized.
Afterwards, Robotnik died. Then a new, more threatening Robotnik came from another dimension or something to mess everyone's shit up.
And the world keeps on spinnin'.

Oh, the best thing about the Archie Sonic comics was when this one artist (Patrick Spaziante) would always put non-Sonic characters like Astal (from Astal) and Ristar (from Ristar) in the background. And even Genjuro from Guardian Heroes was in one (I think in issue #50 with a lot of other characters).

I think it was some kind of 2.0 program he made, or him from that in-between zone plothole they loved so much. Either way it was the ultimate in lame plot devices.

And honestly, I'm starting to look forward to this game. The graphics look great, the combos remind me of chrono trigger in a good way, and Bioware hasn't done me wrong yet. Maybe the Sonic curse will finally be broken.
