Anyone seen this anime? It debuted tonight on Adult Swim..but anyone seen the JP version?
Blood Plus

Saw it on AS. If it doesn't get any better than this, than it's shaping to be a write off. Still, it seems better than that Eureka 7 trash, and that's always a plus!
-
I hate Blood+. I watched a handful of the Japanese version, the first episode or two were okay, then it really gets boring.

I like eureka 7:sad:
I think i have seen a movie of this, It had a girl with a sword fighting a vampire only the vampires looked diffrent from what they look like in this show, Its about to come on now.
EDIT: Well its ok, I don't like how this first episode went. But the animation and VA is good…

Wow it's obvious that you are not an FF8 fan

The first episode was semi-interesting, I looked it up on Wikipedia, and the premise of it doesn't seem very interesting.
-
athe 1st episode dosent make some snese at all

I wish Adult Swim would start playing good anime again instead of this cookie cutter crap.
The thought that more viewers would rather watch Trinity Blood or Eureka 7 instead of Lupin III or Detective Conan makes me want to vomit.
-
Eureka Seven isn't THAT bad, but yes, Lupin III or Conan would be one hundred times better than what they're showing now. Samurai Champloo is pretty good though.
I just watched the second episode of this series, and it was pretty boring.
-
S'okay… not as good as Trinity Blood or anything, but I wish they'd put Trigun or S-Cry-Ed on that slot instead.

Yeah, bring back Reign: The Conquerer! (sarcasm)
Well, not a lot of positive comments about the show, I thought it looked kinda cool. I'll give it about 5 or 6 more episodes to see if my interest stays.

I thought adult swim canned DC? I mean, it is played on funimation tv but I thought that in order for them to do that adult swim had lost the rights or something.

I think thats what he meant.

Trinity Blood I don't even bother with, I only got cable around a month ago so I wasn't about to actually start watching it, but what I have seen of it is INSANELY boring. Eureka Seven, I watched the first 10 or so episodes in Japanese with subtitles then stopped watching it.
I couldn't STAND sCRYed.
I miss the good ol' [adult swim] anime, Lupin, Trigun, Cowboy Bebop. Who gives a damn if they've repeated those series like 24 times already, it is still damn better.

…........What?!
Anyway, I'd love to jump in on bashing Adult Swim's latest anime acquisitions, but Bleach is on there, so I'll have to pass.

coming from someone who praise someting as shitty as kinnikuwhatever, i consider it a compliment to enjoy eureka 7.

I guess generic robot pap is popular with the kids these days.
-
Sadly that's how it is, especially in Japan. Throw giant robot mech's marching around and you automatically got a hit. The story could be deprived from a script of a Barney episode and no one would care.
-
Eureka 7 ain't bad, it just takes a while for it to get ineresting.

My problem with it is that it took a while to get interesting, and then the last ten episodes drag on forever.

Well, at least when One Piece is finished, we know Eiichiro Oda will still be popular
-
Now now, don't put words in my mouth. I'm sure if Oda does do a mecha manga it will be great…I probably wont be that interested in it tho.
