I think one of Sasuke's problems now is that he's turning into a clone of his brother. As if one Itachi Uchiha isn't enough, we now have a second one who, while no Magenkyo Sharingan, is just as annoying and powerful.

BTW: I guess I have a heart for a lot of the Naruto girls outside Sakura. Hinata's concept of being a "shy meek girl trying to change" is one that I wish could be developed more outside her Neji fight…but Kishi is too afraid to use her since she's not Sakura. Temari...well, you need cocky girls too...though the bit with the moons was anime-only, if only to give Tenten a chance before her (sadly) inevitable beatdown.

EXACTLY. I think that is intentional on kishimoto's part though.

Like what he did to Kabuto after Killing orochimaru. EXACTLY what Itachi did to him.(Killed his parents(orochimaru was something close to it to kabuto) and then showed it to him with sharingan.)

So as he is getting closer to itachi, he is becoming more and more like him.

I don't see why people hated him so much in the part 1. Looking back on it, it's not like he cried anymore than anyone else. This is coming from a former-sasuke hater as well. Looking back on it, he wasn't that bad, and is now one of my favorite characters in the series.

I imagine that's why Kakashi was called the 'copycat ninja'. Has he done anything besides chidori that would make him a great ninja in his own right without the use of sharingan?

This is why I liked his fighting with no-names in the Chuunin exams; he wasn't using Chidori and had his Sharingan covered (even though it went for about… two pages or so). Wish there was more of that.

And hay! I have a question: where the hell is that Danzou guy? I don't think we even saw Sai reporting to him about that mission. Maybe that plotline could break up the Akatsuki saga a bit.

About the newest chapter, since Deidara's defeat is inevitable, and his death won't be appreciated by a lot of people, what if he was just left for dead and was the one taken in for interrogation? This way Itachi's defeat doesn't have to happen in the same arc (which would probably be even less appreciated by people).

Anyway, part of me does want Sasuke to get bitchslapped, or otherwise defeated, but doing that would probably downplay the whole Itachi thing so it's probably not going to happen. (Then again I want Deidara to live.)

It's not that weird considering that Orochimaru and Deidara are weaker then Itachi. Killing these guys are steps on a ladder, especially considering how much weaker Orochimaru was then Itachi. I mean, I've said how I don't like Deidara, but how is Sasuke beating him really a big deal?

Also, what's with this number one fan thing? I don't see how Kishimoto favors Sasuke. In part 1, his family was killed, he was beaten by Itachi twice, and the only fight he ever won was against Naruto. Meanwhile, yes, every female and fight enthusiast praised him as a "genius uchiha." And yet, if you remember his flashback, all those praising should only remind him of how inferior he is to Itachi–the original genius uchiha who so badly owned him. And then he has to spend 3 years in Orochimaru's neverland ranch.

If anything, things are only starting to look up for him since beating Orochimaru. Sasuke's life really does suck.

Anyways, it's easy to tell Sasuke is Kishi's favorite. The last few chapters alone are enough. Sasuke pulls out like 3 new jutsu a chapter, and has killed Orochi, 1000 fodder ninja + some fodder CS2 guys, and about to kill Deidera. While Naruto on the other hand…..............

How can he be the underdog when even the goddamn Hokage is his bitch? The guy is constantly praised. He's super best friends for life with everyone who matters in Konoha. So what the hell is he supposed to be, strong or weak? Your average undertalented guy or a monster able to surpass the best ninja ever?

Naruto's characterization is shot to shit. If there's one thing I'll give to Sasuke is that his character is coherent. Which is probably where the feeling Kishimoto likes Sasuke better comes from, he handled his story better than the trainwreck that is that of the main character.

and naruto is supposed to be, and is the underdog in this situation. Sasuke can seal his kyuubi, so sasuke has the advantage.

But don't get me wrong tho, I still like Naruto as a character, but his characterization is questionable. And to be fair, I don't personally think Kishi is still going for the underdog theme, I think he's working toward the Hokage goal now.

I see no difference between tricking someone with kage bunshins and luring someone to your sword to jump off it.

I'd like Naruto to have a few more attacks, Rasengan was very awesome at first, but after seeing it used every three seconds made it considerably less interesting. He only has six or seven named attacks, all of which are variations of Kage Bunshin and Rasengan.

Why do so many people act like Naruto can't use the new wind jutsu anymore? Kakashi's words don't physically stop Naruto from using this move.

As for Naruto's moves, if Kishimoto were smart he could have Naruto use the clone jutsu move creatively. Also, Naruto can still use the clone jutsu along with the transforming and probably substitution jutsu at the same time. Kishimoto's probably saving that for the next time he wants Naruto to own.
