Thank you Vegapunk… U guys rock!!
there's a graphical glitch in (at least the) SD version at about 12:49 when Franky is glimbing the wall.

We've checked it, and the SD and HD are the same as the RAW at that spot. There doesn't appear to be a glitch, but the animation makes it look kind of like a glitch.
Wow, I didn't expect it so fast! Thanks!
Great work, VP! Thanks a lot for the HD Subs. I may have said it already, but I'm just so pleased that I can watch OP in HD now.
We will release a v2 of the SD encoding as it has some minor problems, expect it soon.
Thanks a lot for the DDL… downloading now... great job again Vegapunk
Thanks again.
Question though, why's the file size for the HD release larger this time? It's about 30 MB bigger than the previous HD releases.
Thank you again for the quick release!
@Geg:
Thanks again.

The short answer is that the RAW file size was much bigger than usual, so encoding with the same settings I usually use resulted in a larger file size. Since we were running behind this week, I didn't take the time to try and find a way to reduce the size without losing quality.
Hey, this is my first post here, just thought I'd thank ya all for the awesome subs!
Oh and on your website you have the torrent file downloads mixed up I think. The links themselves say the right link, but when I started up the torrent file it was actually the SD torrent, not the HD one. The HD one was actually listed as the SD one, at least for me. Just thought I'd let ya know.
And here's another mirror: http://datedust.com/anime/
Please do however seed at the bittorent network after downloading.
You guys are intriguing(sp) me. Can someone post pics of their subs and stuff. I have heard good things. How does it compare with other one piece fansubs?

Lets just say its right behind kaizoku and ADC in quality . Little more work and they could be as good or even better.
Vegapunk, you have switch (or mislabelled) your one piece 296 torrents in your website. When I download the HD version torrent, it will save/download the SD version and when I check your SD version torrent, it will save/download the HD version.
Hope you guys can check and fix it..
Great release anyway.. I'm currently seeding it..
yout bittorrent links are coming up as text documents for me.
Anyone else having this problem.
I cant even get the DD sites to work. the second mirror links to a place to download firefox.

Have you tried using 'open with' and choose your torrent program? Or open your save torrent file from your torrent program?
If you want the HD version, then download the SD torrent for now and vice versa. It has been mixed up, hope Vegapunk staff could fix this soon.
I did.
when i saved them to my comp(torrent files) they saved as video files, so i cant open them with bitcomet.
Ill wait for vegapunk to sort this stuff out.
Should be fixed! :D Thanks for the warning.
Btw, my torrents don't open as text, what browser are you using?
Thats probobly it. Im using the old internet explorer.

Okay, I've updated the torrent links on the download page so that they work properly and link to the correct version. They are still backwards on the tracker page, but hopefully we can get that corrected soon.
Sorry for all the delays and small problems this week - we have a lot more members in the group than when we started, and it's been a little difficult to get everyone coordinated, but hopefully things will go more smoothly next week.
MSIE is banned from the unofficial Mirror, and therefore you need another browser in order to download.

Errr… Triton has fixed it. I tried it just now and it was ok. So when you switched it again, it became like the original (wrong torrent file).. You have to revert it back.. Lol..
Torrent links added:
HD version:
http://www.torrentportal.com/download/929435/%5BVegapunk%5D_One_Piece_296_HD_%5B5DE86559%5D.avi.torrent
SD version:
http://www.torrentportal.com/download/929438/%5BVegapunk%5D_One_Piece_296_SD_%5B6D7905E5%5D.avi.torrent
To make sure everyone now can dl and seed it :D (ps sorry for the late post)

Um, no, I didn't switch anything, I just made it so that the torrent links from the download page would work with Internet Explorer. At that time the links from the tracker page were still backwards, but I don't have access to the tracker page, so I couldn't update them. At any rate, it seems like Triton went back in later and fixed the tracker page, so now all the 296 links should be correct. Hopefully.
u guyz rock :D kewl man keep it bringing fast FAST :)

Sorry my bad.. But the torrents are still switched. I just tried it.. Yesterday when Triton said he fixed it, it was ok, for a while.. Have to wait for Triton to fix it again

Okay, my bad too. But not entirely. I've "fixed" the torrent links on the download page so that they link to the proper torrents, but now it's back to the problem of not working properly in Internet Explorer, which I do consider to be a problem since that is currently the most used browser in the world right now, regardless of how good it is (and it's the one I use most often). I did find a way around the IE problem - if you right click on the link and do "save target as" it will try to save it as an .avi (at least it does when I do it), but if you change the extension to .torrent, it will save correctly as a torrent.
The tracker page still has the incorrect torrents. I asked Triton to switch them because they linked to the incorrect file names, but I didn't realize that the torrents matched the links even though their file names were backwards (which in my opinion is just as confusing and just as much a problem as the links being switched). So he switched them, and so now the file names match the links, but the torrents themselves don't match. Fortunately, most people probably don't use the tracker page anyway since I don't think we have a link to it.
Anyway, sorry for passing on my confusion to everyone else. I was only trying to help because the problem was only partially fixed, and I wanted to fix it all the way, but it seems like I made things worse. If I find out who created the torrents incorrectly I might have to pay him a little visit during the night…:ninja:

ah, so My computer isnt retarded. It isnt working for IE.
Im getting it through all anime's links tho.
If I wasnt dumb, i would have tried changing the extention…..but I am so...w/e. XP
Keep up the good work guys. I think your the only group that continues to give us episodes on a weekly basis(adc is behind at the moment)
Ermm.. That is confusing..
Maybe the best way is to start all over again, repack the torrent files and upload it again. But there's always the Direct Download for now.
About the IE thing.. Let's hope someone can fix it soon. Or just use Firefox, it's alot better.

Okay, Triton and I worked together and got all of the 296 torrent problems taken care of, so now both 296 HD and SD torrent links are correct on both the tracker and download pages, and they should open properly in Internet Explorer.
