Well I figured hey…it's a new arc and the other topic is like 97 pages...so I just thought since it's so long why not start fresh. Anyway back on topic. In my crazy opinion I think either Hatchan or Camie or the both of them will join the Mugiwara crew.

Hatchi won't. Not a chance. We already have a cook and a swordsman (two of them in fact, even though Brook fills a different role and his swordsmanship isn't as important to him as to Zoro). Hatchi is just this arc's Johnny & Yosaku/Vivi & Carue/Conis/Pauly.
As for Camie, there's no reason to think she isn't in the same group. I think it would be cool if she joined: she's a funny character, we need another girl, and a fashion designer would be awesome. And who knows what might come up? Maybe by the end of the arc there's be a good motivation for her to join. But for right now she hasn't expressed any interest in joining the Straw Hats, and they haven't expressed any interest in her joining them.

As I said in my post, I agree that Hatchi isn't going to join though. But a fashion designer would be awesome.

hmmm… weren't mermaids the fastest swimmers in the ocean? I seem to recall something like that. And she can talk to fish way better then Chopper can. (if he can at all)... Who is to say that she doesn't have more abilities we haven't seen yet, just because she is labled as and her ambition is to be a "designer".
Still I find it unlikely she will join.

Yeah, we have someone like that. Her name's Nico Robin. Heard of her? It takes a little bit of knowledge on human anatomy, martial arts and physics to do the moves she does with her powers. It's not like she can randomly spout hands and expect her power to work.

Well, I want a girl that can really get down with some fighting moves, not like Robin and Nami that will fight when it's due time, I mean a girl thats willing to fight for the hell of it, maybe like Zoro, and she could be in the top 3!
Also, I really doubt Camie will join, but if she does, she could be a cabin-girl (cabin-boy, look it up) she already does chores and stuff for Hatcchi, and her dream is to be a designer, so she could make cloths and clean n other stuff on Sunny (I'm sure later Oda will make her a fight like Nami), but hey, she's a great character, even though I still want my crazy girl fighter in the crew!

Robin has real fighting skills, it's just that there all sorts of fighting skills. Also neither Shakky nor Camie will join. Camie already has nakama - the takoyaki 8. She obviously cares to much for hatchi to leave him behind as well. Shakky quit being a pirate and enjoys her life more because of it. Theres no reason to believe that either would want to join the SH nor that they would bring anything of value to the SH crew.

Do you take martial arts? Then you'll know that holds are very much a part of Martial arts. Robin doesn't do a bunch of chops and punches with her hands, but she does do different types of grappling, and that's martial arts, like it or not.

Damn Golden week. was miss golden week's name a pun on this?Well, for starters, Robin's pretty strong. Not as strong as Luffy, Zoro and maybe Sanji, but still strong. She struggled to lift Yama, but she was able to do so. If you re-read the fight, she comments on how heavy he is (and he was a huge man).
And the Baroque Works Agents were named after Holidays (the officer agents). So yes, Goldenweek's name comes from the holiday that was celebrated last week.

Usopp had the Usopp Pirates. Sanji had Baratie. Chopper had Dr. Kureha. Franky had the Franky Family.
Who knows what might come up? It's already clear that although she does like working at the Takoyaki-8 a lot, it's not what her dream is. She doesn't plan to work there forever.

what those had in common (well maybe not chopper) was that their "crews" depended on them instead of the other way around.
Camie on the other hand really depends on hatchan. (in so many more ways then chopper in the end depended on kureha)

Seriously, how often is she actually going to be eaten on a ship? And look how physically weak Nami and Usopp are and the assets (even as fighters) they've been. We hardly know anything about Camie, who knows what ways she'd be useful? She's obviously better in the water than any other members, and for a group that sails on the ocean this could be handy.
And they're not going to have to "protect her 24/7". If she's living with them on the ship she isn't going to be swimming around sea monsters being eaten. Sea monsters aren't going to sneak into the girls' bedroom at night to eat her. If she did join, it'd probably just happen once in a while while she was in the water as a gag.
I know this part is just a matter of opinion, but I'm saying it anyway. A fashion designer would be awesome. Oda could do all sorts of cool stuff with that.
And she can walk, she walked to the edge of the deck to call the fish to lead the Straw Hats. She's probably not very good at walking, but she obviously can.

Well, we know that the SH-Crew is a very individual crew. Everyone is different and pretty rare. Brook is a Skeleton, Ruffy a Rubberman, Lysop and his Long nose, Franky the Cyborg… . I personally think, Camie or Hatchi fit into the crew very well, because they are rare and different from the others.

Well, a designer like her could also disguise their faces since their wanted, and maybe do stuff to their hair like change it a different color, so that way as they travel they become less noticed… (Sanji with black hair would be sexy)
or they could get a cleaning lady... one who has a weird mop like mermaid fin which can also spin around to fight. but either way, I pray the next nakama is some one who's a mermaid or merwoman... as long as it's female and aquatic, I'm good

Caimie would be nothing but a needless burden. She's a mermaid, so she has to hop around on a tail and possibly has to feel water every now and then. She can't fight, she's not terribly smart, all she has going for her is that she's a female and everyone wants another one of those in the crew.
Opinion or not, Caimie isn't joining. Only way I see her joining is if she goes Ariel at some point and shows that she has some funky designer based fighting style.

I believe my original statement was basically "There's no reason yet to believe Camie will join, but it's possible. And I personally think it would be cool if she did."
I'm not trying to prove she WILL, just that people who are saying "no that will never happen" are dumbasses who haven't been paying attention to One Piece where things like KUMA IS A CYBORG and BROOK IS LABOON'S NAKAMA happen.

I like mermaids and I like Camie…but for the long run I don't see it. She really doesn't have a tool or a purpose on the ship that isn't already being taken...and fashion designer really doesn't have a connection to pirates as stuff like "navigator", "doctor" or even "musician". I personally wouldn't mind a younger female to balance out Nami and Robin but Camie..then again, any mermaid under 30...wouldn't really be it.
At the same time, I wouldn't mind if one of the Supernova's sort of becomes a second SH fleet akin to the WB pirates.

I stick to my belief that the next two crewmembers will be a fishman and a woman. A great white shark or squid fishman and a woma that joins the crew after they enter the new world.
As forthe supernova's, i wouldn't want them to become allies but rather rivals in the new world, especially Kid, Law and Drake. -

I'm open to Bonney being one of those allies I mentioned instead of a crewmate myself. Her gluttony and Oda's love of cowboys might make her a good person to show up down the line. Drake and Hawkins seem like potential allies as well…Kid just seems like a creep that needs to be surpassed and Law's just creepy. The rest will probably not be that important.

Samson and Adon from Chou Aniki need to join, so that Thousand Sunny can fire off volleys of lasers as a back-up to Gaon Cannon; they would also serve to terrify enemy pirates with that "I'm gonna rape you!" vibe. [/bat-shit insanity]
