In Christianity.
If you marry people of other races, you're a sinner.
Ehhhh? Nope, nothing in the bible about that. Don't know where you got that from. There's inter-racial couples all throughout the bible.
Regardless of what people say, i'll never ever accept the fact that he can't help his own people, and i refuse to be a fool and follow all the rules created by people in the name of god.
He helps me all the time. shrug
That was a long time ago. nowadays people create their own set of rules to their own liking.
Which is a big problem. Do you think there's such thing as wrong and right, or do you think it's all a matter of opinion?
Alright wolfwood, picture yourself lying on the floor severely wounded and injured and you can't move a limb, all this while you're praying for god to help you, but he doesn't, then someone finishes you off, and back home you've got your wife and children waiting for you. Now does that seem fair, i didn't ask for god to wipe us of emotions or anything, just asked him to help us against all the evil people, make this world a more tolerable place, if we have to strive on our own, then we don't need god. Since all he does is create havoc instead of the other way around.
I know people who HAVE been aided very miraculously in scary situations. If you personally experienced one incident of God interacting with someone in the world or doing something miraculous, would it cause you to believe at all, or do you really require that it be a normal occurance? God is only in control of people as much as people give God control. That's the way the laws of the universe were designed. Besides that, I believe there is a battle going on in a realm that we can't see between the forces of good and evil. Sometimes evil wins, because people choose evil.
But eh, I don't think this conversation is going anywhere. There is no way I can ever be convinced there is no God. Everything from the complexity of the universe to my own personal experiences that I've had through prayer and God working in my life, might as well try to convince me I don't exist myself. I bet someone could make a good case for that. :D
