@Jay_n_Silentbob:
on a serious note:
I need someone to rate this Togekiss I'm thinking of making.
I wanna use it's Serene Grace, but I don't wanna waste its potential as a sp. wall/sweeper
This is what I came up with:
Modest nature
-Thunder Wave
-Air Slash
-Roost
-Aura Sphere
The only thing I can see it being "O shit, I'm fucked" against is a rotom, which I don't think anyone uses.
This is a very good set and is in fact one of the standard Togekiss sets on Smogon. Body Slam may be an alternative for Thunder Wave if your team has issues with Ground-types though.
@Toshiya:
Anyone can help me with my team? I want my team to be :
Scizor
Dusknoir
Frosslass
Charizard
Cloyster
NidoKing
What's the best moves, nature and etc for these?
Smogon has a fabulous section on Pokemon analyses and you can go there to read up on the standard recommended sets for all these Pokemon. Keep in mind that you may adjust those sets to your needs.
However, it's really tough to suggest 6 movesets for you right now if I don't know what you intend to do with this team. I would like to ask what your general strategy is. A lot of successful teams have a central strategy in mind, as well as other contingency plans if the central strategy does not work as planned. Even throwing together a team of Garchomp, Gengar, Blissey, Gyarados, Tyranitar and Bronzong (the 6 most used Pokemon ever)works wonders because they all are very good at what they do and can cover each other's weaknesses too.
That said, Dusknoir is a very easy Pokemon to assign a moveset to:
Dusknoir@Leftovers
252 HP / 76 Def / 180 SpD
Nature: Careful
- Will o Wisp
- Pain Split
- Shadow Sneak
- Thunder/Ice/Fire Punch
Will o Wisp is an easy choice - passively damage whatever infidel Pokemon you're up against and you even cripple Physical attackers (hence having a focus on SpDef for Dusknoir). Pain Split is a dodgy way for Dusknoir to heal itself (and to point and laugh at Blissey). Shadow Sneak is just awesome since you get the priority attack to pwn Gengar and Azelf with. Finally the last moveset is just for convering whatever weaknesses your team has (Thunder Punch for Gyarados, Suicune; Ice Punch for Dragons; Fire Punch for Steels and Heracross).
As for definite removals, I would not use Froslass and Cloyster. They have many weaknesses, are weak outside of Hail and they are outclassed by other Pokemon. For example, Gengar and Mismagius are better sweepers than Froslass since Gengar has the raw power to hit hard, hypontise stuff and even blow itself up to kill Blissey, while Mismagius can simply use Calm Mind behind a Substitute to beat up stuff with its decent Speed and Special Attack. Forretress and Skarmory are sturdier Spikers than Froslass and Cloyster, since they have few weaknesses. Forretress also can Rapid Spin as well, while Skarmory can use Roost for quick healing.
