This Pokemon stuff is getting crappier and crappier.
-
Why's everyone hating?
This stage is cool.
EDIT: As for Lucario, he's kinda weird looking…but I just love the fact he seems to wear...pants.

Hate: Bringing everyone a little closer everyday. :P
-
the greatest charecter in this game is kirby he is so easy to handle and he can eat ya :P:P
-
Until Captain Falcon punches his marshmellow face off.
-
Stage flips upside down. Insta-win.
-
-
I like how Dedede looks like he's about kill that Cresselia.
-
He'd just eat him. ^_^
Only to pop out of his ass afterwards. That's when Falcon gets really mad.
-
English Brawl voices. Fox is generally pretty awesome, a lot like 64, which had my favorite voices. Falco is the same.
Metaknight is like a Spanish Vader, its gonna be fun playing him with that voice.
Ike sounds like he is about to fall asleep.
And Pit…WOW. I feel bad for my friend who is maining him. That voice is horrible, no matter how you look at it.
-
The old Fox was way better. MISHON KONPURITE
Meta Knight sounds terrible.
-
metaKnight sounds black.
-
Those voices are just horrible.
"I fight for my friends. … ... ..."
-
Well… It's either this... Or spanish Meta-Knight!
Or, yeah, Japanese Meta-Knight…
-
These voices are pretty bad. I didn't know that the (talking) characters in Brawl said so much!
-
Fox – All right.
Meta Knight -- Too Darth Vader-y, lame lines.
Pit -- Haha, oh wow...
Ike -- Not too bad aside from that "I fight for my friends" line.
Falco -- 'EEY BADA-BING! -
Ike sounds evil and Pit sounds like a 20 year old woman.
-
Ha ha, oh shit.
Forget the others, Falco is just embarrassing. Don't mind Metaknight that much, though.
-
No option for Japanese audio is utter failure.

KNOW
MY

Lol. Pit sounds very familiar, like some VA from a random shitty dub. Ike sounds familiar too.

Wait… there isn't?

Snake Codec in English: Captain Falcon.
I personally thought it sounded better in Japanese.

Damn it, right after I find the video…

Exactly what I thought when I heard it. Sounds like the voice you'd hear in an obscure dub from the late 80s and early 90s.
-
Oh my god those voices are embarrassing

tony soprano as falco lombardi

1UP holding a poll for favorite Final Smashes. So far, Snake is in the lead followed by a tie between Ike and Link.
-
ew, Missile Launcher is beating ZA WEGEE?!
-
-
Haha, I kinda like the voices.
They only grunt mostly during the actual battle anyway, so it'll be alright for most.
Wanna hear who does Lucario and PT though.
-
Pit = Edward Elric, or at least it sounds that way to me.
Ike: Why doesn't he have his PoR voice?
Meta Knight: He's black, is that not enough?
Fox's is alright and Falco's makes me laugh, so I don't find these voices as bad as most people do.
-
Just ordered my JPN copy of the game (from YesAsia for $59.99 w/ shipping). Getting it on March 10th.
No thank you to the US version.
Thank you WiiLoader.
===============
Anyone going to Nintendo World Store (in NY) for the launch?
I'll probably be there at midnight.
-
So…you paid extra to get a Japanese version the same time you can get the US version...why?
-
It's not like talking is the centerpiece of the game anyway.
-
This is a random Melee question, that won't matter in 9 days, but whatever.
I've seen videos of Captain Falcon using Falcon Kick to gain some ground for a recovery, how does one do that?
Mario does the same type of thing with his cape to gain some distance horizontally, and I can't figure out how to do that, I've gotta be missing something.
And I'll be at the South Shore Mall at 9PM… reserved there, or I would've gone to Nintendo World instead, probably would've been more fun, the gamers around here are weird
-
In Melee, Captain Falcon gains a second double jump after he does Falcon Kick. It's just a bug.
-
@Komrade:

10 bucks more.
Worth it for the voices, methinks.
Plus, I've always used Japanese characters for my name. And I'm fairly fluent in Japanese.
Putting the Wiiloader to good use, I'd say. Hahaha.
-
そうですか?
面白いだ。。。

-
I wonder, can you use kana names in the US Brawl?
I can't recall if you could in Melee.
-
You could, but the only names I ever used were FUCK, SHIT, and FART so it really didn't matter.
-

Yeah, I too am curious.
Given that the Wiiloader is "100% unofficial" and that's 100% not a good thing, I'm not sure I see your point. I don't think the voices are worth all the extra price and hassle…
-
Here's some English layout and pronunciation, whatever.
For those interested.

Freeloader is a well-known and oft used device to play import/backup games. 100% reliable for all the times I used it on the Gamecube.
Picture it this way. I'm paying for S&H from Japan. 10 dollars. Sound good?

Kinda gonna miss FUSHIGISOU and DAYDAYDAY

I used the Freeloader on my Gamecube, sure.
But, given the Wii's frequent updates and Nintendo's new tendency to turn your Wii into a angular, white paper-weight, I don't think it sounds too good, no.
-
I thought about going to Nintendo World, but they don't have an event listed and I kinda want to join in on the Gamestop Brawl Tournament (because why not?).
