I wonder what music plays during DK's FS?
Super Smash Bros Brawl ptII
-
-
We should definitely have some specialty tourneys after the original. Like an all-Olimar or all-Pokemon trainer match.
-
@Cap'n:
This is awesome news. As a big DK fan I was afraid of his FS suffering some shitty range.
Yeah, I pretty much assumed that everybody who had done it before was just dumb as hell.
OH GOSH IT BARELY COVERS HIS BODY, WORST FS EVER
EDIT: I can't really see Meta Knight being top tier. He has no strong knockback move from what I've heard.
-

Well I guess it doesn't stop Meta-Knight from being really good does it?
I'm actually really looking forward to Snake for some reason. He looks like he'd be a blast to play, literally (LOLPUN)
And then there's Lucario, who we have no idea if he's actually in the game, but if he is, he should be pretty fun to play as, probably super fast, and decently strong, and he'll probably have a charged blast like Samus or Mewtwo.
-
Yeah, Lucario was pretty swift and streamlined in his movie that I imagine he'd play out simmilar.
-

Honestly, I just see Meta Knight as being the character that "everybody wants to use." He definitely won't be anywhere near the bottom of the tiers, but he'll be like Dudley in Third Strike and just be the most popular non-top tier character used.
-
I can see that too, if it's true that he doesn't have any strong knock-back attacks.
He's the COOL BADASS WITH SWORD AND DARK MYSTERIOUS.
GALAXIA DARKNESS
-
Yeah I'm not really interested in Meta Knight.
Another one I'm waiting for is Ganondorf with a real moveset. Ganondorf's TP design was his greatest yet, and he's bound to get an awesome moveset to fit his looks.
Diddy is probably gonna be the "hard to master, but once you master him he's unstoppable" character.

I can't wait until the 24th
we'll be swamped will all sorts of fake info and garbage
-
If rapscouter was actually telling the truth we might be getting a 3rd party newcomer this week @_@;
We've probably already seen the real roster by now, just don't know it.
-
More like crapscouter
-
Anyone without King K. Rool on their leak is automatically deemed false.
I really wanna see a Pikmin stage this week though.
-
After the goat was sacrified, if the things that people says about rapscouter, like he leaked the Pokemons of D&P, are true, he is the most credible one, but the detail is the "3 of these things are fake" that anoys me.
But no one as stupid and asshole as serebii, can't he leak througth a friend?
12 days of fake shit to go, and you never know when the true leak will happen.
-
Or you could, you know, what until the release.
-
Yeah like I said, for the first day or so after the JP release we'll probably be bombarded with a bunch of crap.
It'll all be fine anyway
-
I'm gonna miss waking up for the updates though.
I've done it every more without fail for over half a year.
When's the Japanese Player Guide coming out? We need some clean shots of the characters rather then the TVscreen-shots we'll get on day one.
-
There will most definitely be updates after the game's out though
-
It's like opening your presents on Christmas Eve and then opening them again on Christmas.
-
Pulseman should be in Brawl.
Game Freak did the game anyway, why the hell not?
-
Because it was on Genesis.
And JPN ONRY
and if you try to throw Lucas/Marth/Roy at me as a counterexample I'll preemptively call you retarded
-
Besides, didn't they already throw in a reference to him with Pikachu's final smash?
-
Muddy the Mole should be in the game.
-
You're in luck
From Brawl Central's updates on the most recent demo:
Muddy Mole is an assist trophy. (Not Monty Mole) Muddy Mole is a character from "Mole Mania", a GB game that Sakurai adores.
-
Hey, that's cool, I didn't know that.
I finally beat Mole Mania during Christmas break.
-
I never played it
Always looked goofy. And I like moles.
-
Some of the puzzles are really difficult. But it was still a fun game, and I liked a lot of the boss battles (although the last boss was really hard for me).

Dude, Mole Mania looks sick! I'll have to find that at GameStop or online.
-
WHOA WHOA WHOA HOLD THE PRESSES
That game is called Mole Mania?! I've been trying to figure out the name to that game forever! That was like my favorite Gameboy game when I was a kid, but I lost it in the cushions of the car right before we sold it. I need to go download that like right now!
Also awesome AT

CAPT.OLIMAR!
i did not expect him to be in the game at all:blink:
specials look cool
wonder whats better:alloy or polygon team -
A trophy like update today. Gives hints on how to unlock a certain "reward" thing I guess.
-
It's a suposed challenge mode, you unlock stuff by completing certain tasks, and from what I can understand you can use the golden hammer to open some of the windows by force
-
Yeah, its yet another way to earn trophies, music, stickers.
Here's to making replay value on this worth it just a bit more. I'm wondering how hard some of these conditions are to unlock said rewards.
-
Okay, this is just like the big task screen in Kirby Air Ride. The Golden Hammers are just like the purple squares.
-
Is it just me or did they leave out a section of this update? Still I like the hammer being there just in case.
-
Okay update. I hope characters can be revealed this way too. Then I'll love it!
-
You GET the thing in the window when you acomplish the target isn't it? It is obvious in the purpose of the mode, but it isn't clear in the update..
I'm Guessing that only the collectibles that are unlockable are there. This should go in the vault, and as the main vault menu isn't out yet, there are more things there, I guess.
Characters, Stages
Music, Trophies, Stickers
Events, Game Modes, Terrain for stage builderPlayable characters should get dolls as in the original game thoug, other than the trophies, it makes me sad that the main trophy of the ice climbers is the 8-bit one.
-
I guess this means we won't have to depend so much on GameFAQs or wherever to find out how to unlock stuff.
-
Yeah, this doesn't tell you how to unlock shit – it tells you how you did unlock shit. Hammers are just for the ones that you are seriously stumped on finding.
Basically, we're going to have to rely on others to help fill in the gaps that we can't find.
-
This post is deleted!
-
Yeah, too bad you can't see that until after you break the window, which still has its own set of conditions that you can't know.
Which is what I was talking about.
-
Waitaminnit though….
Sooo…....
Lets see if I'm understanding this, to break a window is one condition, to get whats behind the red silhouette is another?
-
Whenever you unlock anything, you get the conditions to unlock two more unknown bonuses.
So as long as you have one thing unlocked (which shouldn't be hard at all considering how much stuff is going to be in the game) you have an idea of what to do next, even if you don't know what you'll get out of it.
-
When you break a window, the two panels to the left and right have their conditions revealed. So, theoretically, you can keep progression on a linear path horizontally until you run out of panels on that row.
However, if you're unable to complete those conditions [too hard, don't understand it, etc.], you're stuck waiting until you magically break another panel. <<<<<< I can see this happening quite often.
Either way, you're still stuck doing the MAGICAL WAITING GAME at least once for each row.
-
So here's a thought. Will the website reveal how to unlock each character or will we have to find that out for ourselves? (or gamer guides)
-
Pretty sure he's not going to tell us how to unlock the characters. If he did, they'd make no money on printing guides.
The fact that he even told us some secret characters is probably enough "spoiler" for him.
-
Yeah, from my understanding you'll probably unlock a bunch of stuff on the screen unintentionally by just playing (since it seems like a bunch of the requirements will be pretty basic)
-
i dont like the look of Olimar's looks wierd but i would much rather mega man to be in the game or bomber man !
-
@Cap'n:

Most of 'em probably will be, yeah.
But I bet that a few will be like Mewtwo, where you wouldn't find out until after playing Vs. Mode for 20 hours, wondering that whole time how in the fuck to unlock that character.
-
I hope there's more Konami related stuff. Like a Gradius stage or something.
