I thought the abridged series was alright, but nothing compared to the outtakes. That was incredibly funny,and Griffith's VA has a very nice singing voice.

I just watched episode 6-17 of TAS cause I haven't yet…I'm deeply saddened he's stopping right when all the good shit happens. I so wanted to see what he did with all the darkness that comes soon after.

My bookstore puts Berserk in the Romance section for some reason (along with Lone Wolf and Cub, Path of the Assassin, Crying Freeman and others).
went to the virgin saturday. in the middle of your usual shonen (naruto, bleach, death note, d gray man, etc.) there was a manga called "love story". i opened it and… that's what i call hentai! i like how that stuff is mixed with kiddy stuff. [/kindaofftopic]

I read up to chapter 79 in 2 days. Man this manga is epic, i can't believe i didn't get into it sooner. AfTer which chapter does the past arc ends? I mean as awesome as it is, I've never seen a flashback last that long.

Can't remember the chapter numbers, but it's volume 14.
And it's long 'cause Miura takes his sweet time with everything. The REAL story starts after the flashback ends. :getlost:

New chapter was wacky, Ganishka throws himself in that Daka making nasty sac of apostle fluid in order to enhance himself or something. In doing so he releases an acidic fog that kills everyone in the city not behind closed doors, meaning all his guards, monks, familiars etc are dead leaving only Daiba.
But his army wasn't in the city so they're still around. -
The panel with the guards looking at each other's dissolved face is awesome
