I got excited to hear Mihawk speak oh well. Anyway I wish we still got the next episode previews kinda sucks we don't. Hopefully One Piece ratings will go up to the point where they will have time for Openings, endings, and next episode previews. Oh man what are they gonna do when Crazy Rainbow and JUNGLE P start? XD
I wonder if they will play "We Are" on the episode they ride the Knock up Stream?

Just a note, from watching it, Cricket's tattoo did indeed read "Monbron", so that's likely the reason why that's his official name in the dub.

I'm not saying they "did action better", I'm saying that they actually showed it. Funi just moves the screen away or changes it to a flash, before any blows connect. 4Kids didn't do that. Not even when Luffy punched Don Kriege in the face through the spike cape. That's all I was saying.

There was action in this episode though…a small scene between Sanji and Montblanc Cricket but that doesn't mean this episode doesn't have action. But I agree that the 4kids comment was a little off.

Cricket's voice is perfect as was all the others (as I say every week). I think the Sanji getting shot scene was handled well, at least they showed the gun fire. And they also kept Cricket pointing his gun at Usopp (which 4Kids wouldn't have kept). I didn't notice Luffy saying Going Merry so I think I need to watch it again. Nice that they kept Mihawk's sword unedited, which might mean that all crosses will be unedited (might). Looks like CN will slowly edit everything out of the show (first the previews then the Funimation credit) until there's nothing left. And aren't all Naruto episodes rated PG-V no matter the content of the episode? If so, then that might be what they're doing to One Piece. All in all an excellent episode, and can't wait till next week

Anyone think maybe Cartoon Network is cutting the episode previews and eyecatchers because Funimation forgot to edit the logo? Like, it has to have Shonen jump in it for legal reasons like someone at Funi mentioned? I mean they obviously don't need the commercial time if they added that FALL IS JUST SOMETHING THAT GROWNUPS INVENTED video (they usually just go with a smooth transition between two shows.).

There was a bit of action, between Sanji and Noland. I'm saying that Funi completely cut out Noland shooting at Sanji multiple times. They also cut out Noland shooting as Ussop. The 4Kids didn't cut out guns going off. So in that sence, Funi is showing less then 4Kids did. =/

Dammit, I missed the first 6 minutes of the episode cause I went to the bathroom to shave off a 3 month old beard (damn that was a bitch) and forgot what time it was.
I caught it during the commercial break before Luffy was staring into the water and Cricket came out. I gotta say, I fucking love how this dub is shaping out. The scene with Bellamy was just fucking great, I love that laugh of his. Not to mention Chopper sounded not annoying and Zolo sounds like a chillaxed Piccolo (aka, Tough Yamacha).
Very pleased, and the implied gunfire was done excellently! But I did not notice his cig snuck in at all…maybe it's the next episode Rin was talking about.
Guess I'll have to watch the first 6 minutes on veoh or something. And please people, just add Lobster to ignore or laugh at him...better than replying to him from what I've learned the last few weeks.

4kids guns aren't really real guns. As I recalled, they are either green hunks of crap or water guns so in a sense they could all be toys according to standard they set up. Don't worry about it…they at least showed the gun and a little gunfire. I say that's a step up from the fight between Roshio and Bellamy.

They were still there. They were just green. And I wasn't talking about removing guns, I was talking about action in general. 4Kids showed the scenes happening. They still showed Luffy hitting Crocodile, Arlong, Krieg, Kuro, etc… Not a camera pan away, every time anything gets ready to happen. And I'm not a 4Kids supporter by any means. But that is the one thing about them that was done better then the Funi version. Heck, they even showed Bon Clay's foot stab Sanji in the chest...

Could you reword that so it makes more sense ^^;Anyway, the voices were pretty good. Although Ussop seemed off today, and then their was Bellamy's… I don't know why his voice gets so much praise, (I guess it's because the VA is Yuske's), but I don't really like it. It sounds like he's yelling every line, and it's sounds kind of annoying IMO. I think Saquess has a much smoother voice. Ohh, and Sanji's voice sounded great this time. =)

Forgot to mention how awesome Bellamy's voice is. I'd have to say that his is my favorite voice in the series so far. I can't wait to hear Kuma, Doflamingo, and Mihawk's voice next week. We also get to see if his necklace is edited or not (I'm betting it won't but I guess the sword could've been left alone because it's not as obvious a cross as his necklace). We also get to see if Kuma's bible has bible written on it or not.

Except 4Kids also changed Luffy punching Crocodile in the face to him punching Crocodile in the shoulder, instead. 4Kids DOES have a history of changing things for the sake of edits. They changed Kohza getting shot in the shoulder by a rifle…to getting three fire arrows to the shoulder without bursting into flames.
