Yeah they still make them; I played the new GBA games for both and am liking them, tho I'm sure the Next Gen ver. FAAAAR suprior in grafix and whatnot.
My only gripe with the new Crash game, besides the fact that Crash PUNCHES & KICKS his enemies is the controls. I haven't had any problems with the Spyro game yet, but so far it's enjoyable (not to mention being one of the BIGGEST GBA ROMs in size 20 MB!). I kinda like the RPG elements in both games, but still prefer their good old classic PSX play styles. I think I might boot up my Spyro games again soon…
Soooo anyone tried out/played the new Crash & Spyro games?

Crash of the Titans was a really fun game. Only reason for taking it back to Gamestop is the fact that it's a 10-13 hour game, once everything is collected. The actual story itself is only 20 levels.
However, it did an excellent job of being funny and bringing back a more accurate "Crash feel" to the series. Would love to see Radical make more Crash games, if they end up being longer.
Didn't have a single problem with the controls, personally.

I really, really liked the first few Spyro games, when they had really clever level and art design, but after they got sequelitis and started churning them out it started getting boring.
-
Why are they still making these games
-
Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage
Spyro the Dragon
Spyro: Year of the Dragon
Bush's Iraq policy
All other Spyro gamesIn that order.

OH SNAP
Bush joke
I stopped liking collect-a-thon games after Donkey Kong 64, so Spyro ceased to appeal to me.
Crash games kinda got stale too, as they were the same levels in EVERY game.
but yea, looking at current Crash and Sonic, who were considered to be the mascots of sony and sega back in the day, it's really amazing how far they've fallen.

Uh, what? Crash has never been like that.
And yeah, both of 'em have fallen pretty far. Crash stopped being good when they went with the whole free roaming idea [[I]Twinsanity], and Sonic hasn't had a good game since it went 3-D with the Dreamcast.

Crash never had extraordinary gameplay. It was kind of likeable when I was 12 or so, but looking back it wasn't anything special. Just another attempt to copy the same formula as Sonic with "company mascot" status briefly behind it.

The new Sypro game for the GBA is supposed to be a side-scrolling beat'em up with a combo system. From what I've heard it's actually pretty good. I haven't touched a Sypro game since the PSOne games but AstroBoy and TMNT for the GBA were a lot more awesome then their console counterparts so I might pick this game up eventually.

I thought the Crash Bandicoot games went downhill after Crash Nitro Cart was made.
Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped and Crash Team Racing were the best in my own opinion. -
Yeah, the games really took a nose-dive and crashed.
After the original three games of each series, they definately spyroed out of control.
Although, I'll admit, the movies in Crash of the Titans were pretty funny…

crash team racing is the best :D
