When I unlocked him, he killed me with his super, I beat him the next round and I got him.
Oh yeah, you also don't have to be Very Hard mode to get the D Costume. I got Usopp's without beating Very Hard mode as him.

Finally I got all of costumes.
i had to finish event mode with very hard.
80% no.
I noticed something,not sure,but it seems you have to beat event mode on one difficulty(easy/normal/hard very hard) about 10 times,then beat 20 or 25 grand battle mode. -
lol ,i was confused beating mihawk for like 4times ..beating very hard mode many times ….and i killed mihawk everytime (almost everytime perfect) ..and i got a thought ..let he use the special first ..then i go beat him again ...i perfect him until he was around 1 hp left ..and he use his Lv2 Special ...but my hp were still enough to kill him lol ....and i use the Lv2 special on him ,and he's done ..then i got him ...

I get my ex last week anyone, that have a Character list I have only about 15 Characters is it not 55 from op i have read somewhere or is it with all the support??? how many is it with the support ones!!!

there are not 55characters….. there are 19 characters ... The secret character are Hawk eyes Mihawk , Aokiji , Shanks and Eneru

And btw why is all the characters special so DAMN SHORT?! And they hardly do any damage i mean luffy's final special attack is just a gomo gomo no pistoru that's all its fricking short. I think i like one piece grand battle 3 special attacks more than combat rush because comba rush special attacks are too short.
And no offense i think they really didn't put so much effort in combat rush than they did with grand battle 3. Because of the special moves, the endings combat rush endings are too short but grand battle 3 endings are longer than combat rush and better. And for the credits, i think grand battle 3 credits was better. But combat rush was better because of the graphics and how they included the new characters.
Hope no offense taken to the mega one piece fans here! :P

strategy is able to kill 1000 people in one strategy where strength can only kill one people in one hit and friendship to make all the strategy possible!

You can get third costume by complete trauning mode with Nami(just do every move.)

**Yay I finally unlocked Mihawk! Also here is some more unlockables.
Unlock Mihawk: Clear Event Battle with Zoro on Hardest difficulty.
Beat Mihawk with Sanzen Sekai after getting hit with Mihawk's special.Here's a tip for unlocking Mihawk, lure him to the food items so he has 2 lvl bars,
then damage him until he is in a critical state. Then he will use his super
ever so often. His super range is the worst. So when he glows yellow, move
up to him and get pierce by his little dagger.Marine HQ stage: After unlocking EVERYONE complete their move lists in training mode and afer doing so destroy all the pillars in the stage. Do this with every character to unlock the stage. This will also unlock a a new AI for each character.
After unlocking Mihawk new outfits will become available for all the Strawhats. (remember those sports outfits from colorwalk?)**

You may want to read this. You might not understand at first, but keep reading.
As I have stated, GB Rush was built off of GB3. I was wondering today if some of the GB3 stuff is still in there, such as characters (Hina, Wiper, ect.) and stages (Jaya and Skypiea).
How could we find this out? Gameshark and Action Replay are more helpful than you think.
A similar section on Smash Bros Melee .
See what they did here? If something like this for GB Rush is found out, perhaps we can find stuff we weren't supposed to.
I'm not saying this because the game sucks, far from it. GB Rush is a fun game. I just love stuff like this, and I wonder what's locked away, unused in GB Rush.

There could have been a lot more in GBR. I downloaded the game in like 10 hours and it was just over a gigabyte. There's tons of space left and there should have been some more characters.

I honestly couldn't be more pleased with it. My only complaint is how they half-assed the alternate costumes on everyone that isn't a Strawhat (except Foxy).

I have few complaints but foremost among them being the removal of the GB3 style finishers and mid-level attacks. One word: lame.

oh..i only play KOF 2002 alot …i don't play other much ... i play 97 before ... of course boss is stronger ..but it also talk your skill !!!! Joe is my fave character,i use him well ..i can win many people ...so i don't care what the enemy is,i will still fight!

overall this game is great but there are few things which are anyoing. when someone picks eneru i come close before striking him he turns into the huge blue thing and hits me. i really get mad when this happens

Remember in the preview movies when Luffy would get too tired to do Gomu Gomu no Storm, or the afro would fall off before he uses Gomu Gomu no Cannon?

thats pretty funny i like choppers too and nami's. just wanted to tell you that you dont need to win the game on hard to get the fourth costume if you one it on normal you can get it.

I've just ordered this and I have a question for anybody using Freeloader on the GameCube (sorry if this has already been addressed somewhere in this mammoth thread) - does the Japanese text display okay? I have Treasure Battle and most of the characters are displayed as punctuation and gibberish. I was curious if that happened in this one too. Not a huge deal if it does, but the uncertainty knaws at me.

i found many variants of unlocking aokiji in this thread, but which is the right ? I have tried to beat him with this feet-in-the-air special attack, and I tried it the same in hard mode, but nothing happens. also I tried to beat him with this animation special attack in the 2nd scene complete. but this was'nt it. After I beat Aokiji there is a picture with him, as that of eneru, wich means, he is in grand tours or so. I cannot read the hiragana, because my TV is to smart. what did it say ? in is gthe feet-in-the-air the level 2 special, or which tabs are the level 2 special ??? please tell me…

use your Level 2 special to beat aokiji ,if you saw a shot of eneru,go to Grand tour and fight him ..choose all enemy are CPU and only you yourself a character ..and 1 of them will be Eneru,won him,and you'll get him
