Sorry. I'm a big fat liar. I was trying to think of the biggest possible "surprise" Funi could throw at us that would require absolute secrecy for the episode titles. There is no crossover. But I can see it. In my mind.
(There was talk of Toei animating that OP/DBZ crossover though, right? How sweet would that be? But now I'm totally off topic…)
As far as dubbing order, 6 episodes completed doesn't really give us an accurate idea of where they were/are. Like Mato said earlier, when working on the subs you're really doing several episodes at once. Dubbing is pretty much the same way (only more complicated). You bring people in as schedule allows and have them say as many lines as you've got for them to say. So the actors may have lines recorded halfway through the arc, while the background noise, minor characters, audio editing and video editing is only totally completed for 6 episodes.

If they did do the DBZ and One Piece crossover, I hope it would be movie like so we can get all the characters in there with each other. Talk about awsomeness.

Still waiting for my DVDs - but at least it's known they're coming in 2008.
I also still think it would've been a bit much, even for CN, if they changed schedules abruptly. Especially when it's this close to airing their marathons/movies or whatnot. The only thing I was afraid of CN doing was restarting all of One Piece to show 4shit again.

It's not that we don't like longer titles, but we're being realistic here. Funi's not going to make long names.
And comparing 4Kids to the original Japanese is moot at this point in time.

This kind of sucks OP is suppose to air the 29th and they havent even started advertizing it from what I've seen. If they ever hope to make One Piece as big as Naruto or atleast compete with it ( Especally with Sasuke Retrival arc coming up, that will be tough) they have to advertize the hell out of it. Advertizing alot like a week before it airs is going to do shit. I don't think One Piece is going to do so well.

I think an episode title just helps set in the reality that yes, the Funimation dub is just around the corner.
