4kids skip those to make time for new Dub I think that is what I heard.
I think they thought the Zoro filler was actually canon, which is why they didn't skip it. Rainbow Mist was dubbed to fill up the rest of their 52 episode season/quota without starting a new arc in Jaya.

Naw, Dan Green's still doing Johnny's voice. Don't know about Yosaku, it's possible they changed voices for him.

You know, I halfway enjoyed this episode in japanese. Is it just me, or is it impossible to fully pay attention with the 4kids voices and music? It just makes the whole thing feel fluffy and inconsequential… maybe it's just my brain shutting off in self-preservation.
First I hear Pokemon's "Mutiny in the Bounty", and now "Scrtuiny on the bounty." What's the phrase, and what's it mean?
I imagine it's the exact same thing as "emphasis on the bounty" only 4kids likes to take huge handfuls of familiar phrases cliches and either butcher them or add them totally inappropriately. Like every other line. Do they proofread this stuff?
Favorite part of the episode - Nami says that Yosaku and Johnny gave her the real deal on Zolo back when they met and she will now disclose all his secrets! (The episode then goes on to pretty much repeat everything we already knew about Zoro)
Second favorite part of the episode - Zolo: "A strong mind and an iron will keeps you from catching a cold." Awesome life lesson for children everywhere!

Did you hear the BGM they used when Zoro was speaking with the "weapons smith"? They actually used "asian" sounding music. The only time they have used a theme like that was in the 1st episode of Arabasta, where they used generic "arabic" sounding music.
It's an improvement when they switch up like this, I suppose. They usually just use random music, so atleast it fit the scene. Infact, I'd go as far to say that this was the best 4Kids dub episode yet. But hey, that's not saying much. =3
