Ronaldinho, you must not have been here all night, after this happened several mods came back in particular carly and ocean and were not very happy with having been banned and were trying to get a hold of the people who were banned in order to get them back on the forums, they were also trying to get ahold of the server guy so they could subnet ban griffy.

Though you're right in that, as far as I've seen, nobody's stated verbatim "This is a joke." But it doesn't need to be stated like that, does it? The mods are busy trying to solve the problem, not appease everybody who would still think it a joke after… well, after everything that's already been said.

Well, I've been suspecting something like this would happen when some random dude who created a "new layout" (which is amazingly identical to the old AP layout except with black bars instead of white) became an admin; I've had my suspicions that he's a former AP veteran or one of the mods in disguise, having done something simmilar myself only a couple months ago.
Of course, I was expecting some smashing joke on the first, but we're three days too early for that so I'm unsure about what is really going on. This is something along the lines of what /b/ or the GNAA would do; very distasteful indeed.
There's a place I used to be able to go to learn if this is the case or not, but apparently I can't so there's no way to be sure of the validity of this problem. I'd relay the truth if I could, sorry.

Actually anytime someone complains about being banned from a forum and throw a hissy fit is hilarious, but that's beside the point. As for the "he made the skin so he's admin" comments I keep seeing, it's obvious most of these people can't bother looking at the situation from a logical standpoint.
Anyone can make a skin, if given a template, theme, and half-decent graphics program, so it's obvious that he wasn't given admin-powers because of the skin, it's a "prank" plain and simple. I would know, cause I've seen this happen numerous times in the past, and are typically not funny (the idea, not the comments about said prank, those are fucking gold). =/
