It was, without a doubt, Kon. Also, whenver I see someone kill a hollow, it desinagrates, but whenever I see someone kill an arrancar, it doesn't. Explain?

My guess is that because Arrancar are more human like they don't go to soul soicety and get cleansed. They just die.

@Impel:
I dunno, I don't think it's too bad. Shinji's seiyuu is growing on me, and the beggenning of the arrancar arc wasn't really all that flashy anyway. Just wait 'till Ulloquia shows up.
Wasn't bad? The animation and art sucked and the mod shits were just put in to gain time no other purpose and they took all the fun out of the ep. Stupid stuido trying to make fillers canon grr :/
-
ah ah the fillers completely ruined the last 2 eps which were supposed to kick ass and will fuck up the upcoming ones. these trios should just die. i thought i could handle watching the anime again but it's definitely not possible.
-
Ouch, next week Bleach is in the lower half of Jump. I wonder if this will be come a one-time thing for a while or a habit.
-
In the anime, they FINALLY gave Rinrin back her original body. I hate that bird-body. So annoying.
-
I wouldn't say it's going downhill popularity-wise yet, since last week Bleach was behind only One Piece..but definitely a major drop, even Penguin and D.Gray Man did better..something to take note of, Kubo.
-
Well with boring chapters like these I am not suprised. Though hasn't one piece been in the lower half, or close to the lower half before. I think it was back in july when it was zoro vs kaku…
Though where does the end start, after all those non colored pages in the middle telling you about the animes and stuff? Though I am sure it's nothing to worry about, I have seen naruto, gintama, eyeshield, and bo^7, in the lower half and they are still alive.
-
Well, BLEACH is my favorite animanga series other than One Piece. With the anime I generally follow a rule of reading the manga, and then watching only the anime episodes I want to, because certain action and combat sequences lend themselves better to anime than to manga.
With that said, I've watched the past two episodes of the anime when I learned that they were starting up the Arrancar arc, so I could see the elder Ishida and Kurosaki in action. However, I also ended up seeing these three random-ass friends of Kon show up. I spent an hour or so on Wikipedia afterward, discovered that they're filler characters from the Bount arc that I had avoided watching, and I'm now just trying to ignore them and hoping that those Studio Pierrot fools keep them out of Hueco Mundo when the time comes.
-
Well, Bleach might be in kind of a dip (I actually kind of like Hueco mundo so far), but it's still done a much better at holding my interest than Naruto.
-
Everyone is complaining that the anime is not good, but no one seems to realize that the beginning of arcs are NEVER GOOD! I mean, look at every arc: The chuunin exam starts with a written test, Enies Lobby starts with running around attacking random Marines, and the arrancar arc starts with incomplete arrancar and Shinji being a penis-head. And the same applies to the Huedo arc: it may start slow, but it will definitly pick up!

The written test was one of the best parts of the Chuunin Exam IMHO. More psychological than ninjas killing each other.
Something tells me that unless Kubo is just planning this massive final arc where everyone (human, Shinigami, Vizard, Arrancar and whatever else I'm forgetting) lays it all on the line in one action-filled orgy (presumably the Winter War), something tells me we're never going to see the full potential of a lot of characters. But that's just my head worrying again.
-
That's a good point: Is Huedo Munco gonna be like the final arc?
-
@Impel:

Yeah thats what i was wondering, and will aisen die or do a Naraku.
Yo can anybody tell me the name of the 5th intro?
-
@Impel:

I doubt it. I believe the final arc will be the Winter War.
@Chaos:

I don't read the InuYasha manga, but I know it's still continuing, so Naraku could still die, even if he didn't the anime. I expect Aizen to as well.
The 5th OP is Rolling Star.
-
thanks killer
Now what the hell is the winter war?
it sounds awesome
-
If this isn't the final arc, then I guess that in the final arc, it will be Aizen as a vizard/vaizard.
-
5th Bleach opening is Rolling Star by Yui.
Anyways, I don't think this will be the last arc. Bleach seems to be a bit too popular to be discontinued already, I agree with the Winter War being the final arc tho.
-
What the hell is the Winter War?
-
I think its when Aizen uses the Hogyoku, I could be wrong.
-
From how its understood with the Winter War, Aizen wants to re-invade Soul Society with his Arrancar/Espada, destroy everything and then "become the king"…something to do with there being a king in Soul Society. The shinigami are so desperate for warriors that they're even approaching Shinji and the Vaizard...so pretty much its going to be that big.
-
It's when the "key" needed to open where the King lives will appear…
and Karakura is the only city with spiritual denisty high enough for it to happen (or something like that).
-

Well the fact that you havent seen the naruto manga since Asuma died, makes your comment kind of silly.
Shika/asuma arc> this crap arc so far. The fights are not even interesting. The winter war looks to be good tho, I was excited a few months ago when they mentioned it.
-
So did you just enter the thread to flame me?
Yes, I haven't read the actual chapters, but like I mentioned in the thread, I keep up and I know what transpires in them. Nothing has really piqued my interest enough to go download an actual scanslation when it's released.
And not to mention I always found Bleach more interesting. Maybe it's because the side characters have more personality and actually see the light of day.

I'm still confused about why that guy with a 69 on his face hasn't ever released his zanpaktou.

@Impel:

Hisagi has never had an opportunity to show his Shikai.
-
And I would like it if he did. A lot of them reveal their zanpaktou's shikai, but never say it's power.
-
Yeah, a lot of the main SS cast hasn't really shown off all their skills, but that's why the Gotei 13's involvement in fighting Aizen should be so interesting. It's also why seeing people like Hitsygaya get the spotlight over and over is so annoying.
It's hard for me to say whether Bleach or Naruto is more interesting right now. Normally it's Bleach, and Chad's fight seems like it will be hella more interesting than Ichigo's or Ishida's, but Hidan and Kakuzu are just so kickass.
-
Bleach has been around less, so we can't expect what will happen next more. Still, I like the idea of a Winter War. And, throwing it out there, I want to see a Vaizard release.
-
-
Sweeeeeeet.
I must say, both Naruto and Bleach have a good "villain gang" going for them. Akatsuki is one of the few reasons to keep reading Naruto, and the Espadas are awesome simply for having Grimmjow and emo boy Urquiola there.
Judging from the spoilers, Chad's powers are more Hollow-like than anything, which raises some very interesting questions. It also goes hand-in-hand with Orihime who's powers are apparently Vaizard-like (according to Hachi).
-
@Cap'n:

wow. which ones? orihime aka "the most useless and stupid female character ever" or maybe chad the "i'm such a blank character, kubo could just erase me from the manga, nobody would notice" or ichida the "hey, i'm the usual counterpart of the hero except that my powers are lame"?
or maybe you were talking about the shinigami. which are indeed what's good in bleach.
-
Well, NOW they're actually doing something in the new arc. But I do agree that Ishida's power's are kinda lame. It was most interesting when he used silver tubes then when he had his Quincy powers.
-

I'd say the main characters are Ichigo, Ishida, Chad, Orihime, Rukia and Renji at this point. So I assume he's talking about people like the captains. I want more Kenpachi and Shunsui.
-
I think that old guy should fight, since he was gonna pwn those other two captains, he should kill some Espada.
-

First off, Chad is totally awesome. A lot of people would notice if he was gone. Also, Chad, Orihime, and Ishida are considered main characters, not side characters.
-
wow. which ones? orihime aka "the most useless and stupid female character ever"
Wrong
or maybe chad the "i'm such a blank character, kubo could just erase me from the manga, nobody would notice"
Wrong
or ichida the "hey, i'm the usual counterpart of the hero except that my powers are lame"?
I don't necessarily care for Ishida, but still, DONG. so 3 strikes.
or maybe you were talking about the shinigami. which are indeed what's good in bleach.
I like the shinigami the most, yeah (and they're who I had in mind as 'side characters' since the others can be considered main), but that doesn't mean the other characters aren't any good.
-
Chad, Orihime, and Ishida aren't really "side" charecters. Side charecters are like Kon and the Urahara shop.
-
Naw, I didnt enter the thread to flame you. That was just the second time i seen u say that in this thread, but if u want to discuss naruto we can go in the naruto section. This arc is entertaining to many people.
I like Chad and some of the captians but some of the other characters are not that interesting at this point. That could change down the road.
-
Now, in the manga, Chad is really catching my attention, what with his now Hollow-esque arm mutation. Also, another thing I didn't get about Chad:
We know that when a shinigami kills a Hollow, it goes back to SS, but when a Quincy kill it, is goes away forever, right? So, what happens when Chad (or Orihime or Hollows, for that matter) kills a Hollow? -
A question that has yet to be answered in the manga. I don't know if Kubo is just stuck on an answer or if it's the exact same as the Quincy and he just doesn't want to admit it.
-
Well, it's not like it matters, it just an interesting point. Honestly, I feel kinda bad when a Quincy kills a Hollow because then it's like a human dies, they get tourtured into being a Hollow, and then they just go away forever.
-
New chapter's out.
Chad's kicking ass, and now he has a left arm as well.
-
Two arms?! He kicked monumental amounts of ass with one, can't wait to read it.
Any news on what afro-guy-with-a-really-long-and-hard-to-remember-name-of Spanish origin can do?
-
Well, he does his release, which is…. like, super punching armor or something. Looks kind of stupid, almost like an armadillo. As far as i can tell it does some super punch blasts like Chad. But, Chad's standing there pretty much unharmed and now armed (HAH!) with a left arm.
Chad also talks about his arm, but I don't know what he says.
-
Basically, he says that his powers are more like Hollow powers and they feel at home in Huedo Munco, so that's why it got stronger. Also, that afro-ed guy prayed to God before he attacked, proving that HOLLOWS BELIEVE IN GOD, which is ironic because they live to kill, mostly.
-
Chad always reminded me of Kazuma the Shell Bullets powers from S-Cry-Ed now this just makes it more similar.
-
That similarity has been made before by other fans. Of course, now they don't grow the armor on the same arm anymore.
