All Blue would be really deep (wherever it is) and would have some sort of civilization there.Kinda like a pleace where the original ancestors are still living, or lived if you want to go along with the legend of Atlantis.

What if the Straw hat teleport to one planet to learn more of the area around One Piece world, the descide that one is enough and teleports back to the One Piece world without going througth the atomsphere? Or if they find a portal and travel to one "another world?"
Thats not the kind of series it is.
You guys are treating it like some kind of Magic RPG.
All of its odditys actually are explained in a sort of sense.Skypiea could of just been a floating island.
But rather… its an incredibly dense cloud, that you can walk on and make buildings out of. And the reason a big piece of land is in the sky is because of a big ass water spout. If OP was a series with portals, then the strawhats wouldv'e gotten magic wings to get to Skypiea. They rode the waterspout up when the dense cloud was overhead.
Oda is sensibly crazy, not fantastic.

This thread is taking a nice turn. Yeh, I've never thought of All Blue in that way, I've always seen it as Sanji seems to envision it, as this great joining of the four seas, where all the types of marine life come together.
I just never thought there could be like an Atlantis type civilization in All Blue, but now it's actually quite likely that Oda has something like that in mind for All blue.

**Haha, I hope so. I think it would be a nice tie-in to everything. And since it deals with fish, let's see the infamous-but-still-not-seen Jimbei be the villian of this arc.
-
Speaking of Jinbei. I demand Oda does a type of Arlong gaiden, before Jinbei had to give his crew up, to be become apart of the Shichibukai.
I mean, if Arlong is the most detestable, evil villain we've seen so far. What in god's name will his former Captain be like?
-
OK guys, what if…... just imagine this....... they got sucked into an alternate dimension.
And what if…... in that alternate dimension...... they were all people on an internet forum.
And what if…. hold on to your hats here...... they were arguing whether or not there would be a Friends reunion set in SPACE.
-
That would be insane…a Friends reunion in space that is. I can totally see the Straw Hats becoming people on an internet forum. ;)
-
That 0_0 ….. blew my mind. Now I feel.... .... mindless.

Well, I have seen StrawHatLuffy, Vivi Nefertari and others on this forum….. :P
-
going to space…... uh
nah that'd be good mini movie thing tho -
Next year's movie: The StrawHats go to outer space!!
XD
Yeah, movie might be possible, or at least mini movie. They playes baseball, they can go outer space as well. -
Luffy in space?
pictures Nami hopping over a skyshark with the waver
-
They going outer space on the manga is out of question.
As I can see in OP, the world itself isn't even 100% discovered…
-
I wouldn't mind them going to space but I would prefer to see the North/West/South Blue, more islands from the Grandline and maybe even the Red Line.
_Originally posted by oceanizer+Feb 15 2005, 02:49 PM–>QUOTE(oceanizer @ Feb 15 2005, 02:49 PM)Anyway, for me, Skypiea arc was kind of space already. Even though people lived there aren't alians, they kind of possess different figure from normal people (having those two things sticking out of their head and having wings). I don't think they had those when they were still on the earth. Even though Eneru went to further out to the space, it's just the difference of how far they are away from the earth.
@ Jan 4th 2005, in "Wings, something i'm wondering still"
**this is a bit old, might be a topic on it alreadybut if you noticed the people from jaya, and those in skypeia
even 400 years ago, before it was sent up into the sky, they both had wings on their backs….
i mean if Wiper and crew had it after 400 years of living in the sky and evolving, i understand that,
but how did they have it when they were still in the grandline?**_The post in this discussion I liked most (but unfortunately I don't have this page left) explained that the Shandians were the ones who had wings as some kind of fashion and the Skypians liked that fashion so much that they made some for themselves, too … ;)
-
IMO, it'd be stupid as hell if they went to space. The whole point of the show is going to the end of Grand Line, and Luffy's natural sense of adventure led them to Skypeia, which is technically in the Grand Line. They have no reason to go to space because 1) it'd be repetitive, and 2) it would in no way be beneficial to their journey, unless their was a PLANET ON THE GRAND LINE!!!! WOOAHAHAHAH!!! CRAZY!!!! somehow they compass thing pointed straight up, and since they didnt see skypeia, it must be a PLANET ISLAND!!!!DOESNT MAKE SENSE!!!So they used knock really, really, really far up stream to get their.
Sorry for the rant. -
Guys…......
Whichever side you believe, there's a reason we don't call reasonable ponderings (unreasonable being something in the realm of Nami Tentacle Rape) stupid or discard them.
Remember our little discussion on what Lucci's power might be? Or if that even WAS Lucci?
How about anyone that said Franky had a damn good chance of being the next member at the start of W7?
You don't throw out any idea within reason until Oda proves you wrong. You naysayers are conjuring up images of massive space travel between planets. It doesn't have to be that, and quite frankly that DOES fall within the realm of unreasonable. But the thought of a PART of the story in SOME WAY occurring is space is most certainly within the realm of conceivability. Considering we STILL don't know squat about the World, it would be truly foolish to rule anything out at this point.
-
I've never said it was inconceivable, just highly unlikely. I just wanted to reaffirm that. And I totally agree with you omae, assuming to know what Oda will or will not do next in One Piece, is indeed very foolish.
-
I just think if they went into space, it would be copying Dragonball Z too much and I would stop reading.
Joekido, there's no need to talk about your "Atomshpere" theory twice. If we don't reply, it doesn't mean you post it again.
KNOW, do you think you're gonna pop out of the screen and kick Zephos' ass?

**EEggghhhhh…... I wish I can clearly understand the point, because to me the statement is subtle. Oh well no offense. Anyway it will be a bad idea if Oda does "space travel"
-
I wont want One Piece to become Gundam. So that's my thoughts.
But if he does it well, perhaps. But it does not even seem possible for space now. I mean why will aileans be interested in the Pirate King?
-
Definetely not.
It would send OP's popularity down the drain. -
Says Forte speaking for all the Japanese fans.
-
Moving into another dimension or into past would be more cooler, or into underwater/underground perhaps, and I'm sure Japanese fans would appreciated it. As if it's an indicator of how good a series is…
I trust Oda but even Skypiea was a bit too much for me.
-
Eheh.Thnx omae.
It just wouldn't make sense!!!!
Imagine a Luffy,Ussop,Zoro,Nami,Chopper,Robin and Sanji Gundam???
It'll be Gundam Piece!!!!
(Ya,know, the idea of massively huge One Piece gundams in space is rather cool….) -
I forget to add [/sarcasm] to that last post so it didn't show up.
You shouldn't dare say it doesn't make sense. You're talking about a comic book. A comic book where a ship flew into clouds that can support massive weight such as a chunk of island that flew into the sky.
Some of you are comparing OP to Gundam if it went to space, as if it was the only series to go into space. Ever seen Akira? Tetsuo went into space for a few moments, is Akira suddenly Gundam?
Suggesting that OP could hit space in some way is a perfectly fine prediction.
-
I agree that it's wrong to say that something would never happen, but it sounds cheesy. Though, if Oda took it there, I have faith that he could do it without ruining the series.
-

I also agree, but I think the vagueness of the original question is what caused all the unrest & for people to so easily dismiss it. You can't really drop a question like that, and not really back yourself up on why & how, you'd see the Strawhats go into outerspace.
Just can't….
-
well we can't even predict what's going to happen next week let alone volumes from now. there isn't really any evidence other than, this isn't our world, it is Oda's and he can do what he wants when he wants. we just always go along for the ride.
-
it'd be so weird if they leave water 7 and they are like, in space the whole time cuz the grand line is all weird and messed up like that
-
Sorry if everyone's over this by now, I got here late
Announcer: "Next time on One Piece GT the Straw Hat Senshi are on the Moon as the radar located a black star poneglyph up there…"
(Shot of group on the Moon)
Nami: "Wow, the Moon is made of cheese !!"
Sanji: "This cheese would go great in that casserole..."Luffy: "Hooo hoo weeee! I was turned into a kid for some reason!"
Usopp: "YOU'RE ALWAYS A KID!!!"
Franky: "Calm down while I play my guitar."
(Franky starts playing a violin. Weird martian appears.)Martian: "Where's my Space Modulator?"
THE END!
-
I'd rather they hold off on space. I'd rather see them score a submarine, or fight a ghost ship, or somehow find themselves stranded in the West or South Blue. What would they do in space anyway? Well… It would be funny if they did something weird like that movie The Adventures of Baron Munchausen. Even then it would have to be some really odd filler.
-
What if in the second part of the Grand Line, there is some strange weather condition that sucks the air between a few islands. The islands have air but not the sea between them.
-
That might be kind of cool, but not for a long time.
-
LUFFYS SPACE SUIT wouldnt be able to stretch and he'd die.
so, no space -

Everybody has the right to have his own crazy theory! And if he is a "retard" as you think…what don t you take the time to explain him why you don t like his theory? We re here to discuss opinions not to diss members!!
Same for Zephos!! -

Is this all because theres a picture of Luffy in a space suit in color walk 2?
-
If Oda is going to make a space thing, I sure hope he does not make it like "muppets in space"
-
Space????
I highly doubt it…......I don't think their technology supports it. BUT this is Oda we speak of, who knows  -
It's "Muppets from space!"
-
I cannot imagine a space episode in One Piece continuity, but a cross-over space adventure would be interesting. Cowboy Bebop/One Piece would be a neat cross-over. It would be sea pirates meet space cowboys. The mental images are awesome: Chopper and Ed interacting, Faye and Nami stealing money and fighting over whether to gamble or save it, Sanji and Jet discussing cooking and bonsai trees, and Luffy and Spike…well...trying to coexist. Captain Harlock has some potential too. Harlock's eye patch already makes him look like a pirate, but I don't have much else for that one. For an Outlaw Star/One Piece pairing, all I can think about is how great a fight or team-up between Zoro and Aisha would be. So yeah, no continuity space stories, but the skies the limit (well, actually it isn't...bad pun, sorry) in terms of crossovers.
-
The only way for them going to space right now, if figthing White Beard.
He would literally threw them to space. -
white beard is a nazi ( the nazi symbol on the flag.) and the bermuda triangle is knock up stream
-
Stop saying things like that like they're fact. It's a manji.
-
whats a manji?
-
Exactly, plus the Nazi's swastika symbol is slightly tilted, not like Whitebeard's mark.
-
I think it would be worthwhile to revive the swastika/manji thread from the old forum. I thought we came to the conclusion that it was a swastika, but I could be wrong. If you want to double-check, Arlong Park's main page has the Ace mini story and the last panel has a picture of Whitebeard's flag behind Ace. From there, I thought it was a manji (the part on the left turns down), but I think it goes the opposite way on his back. Yeah, we may want to revive that thread…I'm ten kinds of confused about which it is.
-
whats a manji?
