@zoroo20:
what if
sanji get seastone Shoes ??????
Then Sanji would never have to worry about Luffy interfering with his kitchen while he's in it ever again.
Luffy: MEAT!
Sanji: raises foot
Luffy: Wah. . . I don't feel so good. . .
But seriously? Seastone weapons would be amusing for the Straw Hats to play with. Cheap, but amusing. Like, if (as many people guessed before Yubashiri got destroyed) Zoro does decide he wants to learn to cut through elements, a seastone stone might be an easier way to do it, but it could also be seen as "training wheels".
On that note, it does seem like Oda's slowly rotating in new weapons. Nami and Usopp already have their (and we don't even know what Kabuto's full potential is). Zoro has been set up for a new sword. That leaves: Luffy, Robin, Chopper, Sanji, and Franky.
Franky is probably too new for an upgrade. Let's get used to the cyborg before we started wanting to change him up.
Chopper's rumble balls have just revealed their big flaw - "Monster Point" is powerful, yes, but, from what we can tell, impossible to control. Hence, Chopper needs to either learn to control Chopzilla or improve the Rumble Ball.
Luffy seems to be an almost exclusive martial artist. He'll draw inspiration from things around him (ex: the pinwheel) or use the environment to his advtange (ex: slamming his feet into the cement during the Arlong Arc even though it ultimately worked against him), or improvise with what the enemy has done to him (ex: the giant gold ball on his hand during Skypiea). I don't think Luffy's going to get any kind of permanent weapon aside from his own body, and as a DF user he doesn;t really need or have a purpose for one.
Robin seems to be similar to Luffy in regards to fighting style. Robin can only make her body parts bloom - not weapons. She can pass weapons between these parts but she can't make new weapons.
That leaves Sanji, also a martial artist. And unlike Robin or Luffy, he could modify his shoes (or, in theory, his pants?) to aide his fighting style. Seastone would be logical, but not necessarily a big influence on his character.
