    • RE: Chapter 539 "Emporio Tension Hormone" Discussion

      I've always looked at people's theories and the way they present their theories as a great indicator to the kind of imagination they have. And judging from what i've been reading for some time, you guys are scraping at the bottom of the imagination barrel.
      No offence meant, of course.

      It's easy to draw conclusions from what may happen.
      1. You have the mystery head jailor who's out for a vengeance after being imprisoned in his own jail. Who's mentioned to be as strong as Magellan. Who also happens to be in Level 6…
      2. Luffy and Ace's relationship with their father will probably become public knowledge. Perhaps due to intra-politics within the Marines Garp hasn't told his superiors who his son is. But possibly they do know, and have some plan in mind. But either they've hatched a plan to combat two powerful forces at once or they'll find out the truth and halt his execution only to combat Whitebeard and then take on Dragon.
      3. Someone else is out and about the jail. Previous chapter was mentioning someone/something being gone in Level 5. And then there was the other ruckus elsewhere while Luffy & Co were running about. We'll find out about it soon enough. I wouldn't be surprised if whoever it is have plans of their own that might effect some sort of delay.
      4. Marine HQ has surely had some developments regarding Whitebeard's fleet. Possibly they've bumped heads, but a small elite force (of either Marines or Whitebeards) is surely going to be deployed at Impel Down soon. Expect Whitebeards flag to be visible near ID.
      5. As someone with some common sense said, the other Strawhat Pirates are too far away to have any impact on the story as it currently stands. It's down to Luffy, the dragqueens, unknown assailant and the possible allis in form of the previous head goaler and Jimbei, though the latter is surely too weakened.
      6. The fight with the remaining monsters will be over and done with in a few panels if nothing else, so expect them to face Magellan in one chapter or so.

    • RE: Theories That Don't Deserve Their Own Thread

      You know, everyone keeps thinking that they're going to go to Fish Island very soon, and considering all the foreshadowing and Jimbei involved, it really makes me wonder exactly HOW the SH are going to get there and in what condition.

      Let's say that somehow Luffy manages to release his brother (likely outcome) and escape only to have his brother run to Whitebeard to defend his "father" against the Marines. So Luffy joins Jimbei to escape into Fishman Island, with or without his partner (whomever they may be).

      The question then is what will the World Government do? Surely, the battle can not last long with such behemoths of power standing against each other. So when the battle is lost/won by whichever side, the Government will not simply let one of their renegade Shichibukai and the man responsible for the Tenryubito and Impel Down incidents just let slip away.

      I think they may be up against another battle once there. But either way, there must be a resolution soon or at least glimpse of how they will get down to Fishman Island soon. Specially with Luffy not having his crew available to him.

      Will he simply wait for them in Fishman Island or go back to Shabonday in the hopes of reuniting with them? The latter is possible, as he has Raleigh there to wait for him to finish his coating.

    • RE: Akainu/Sakazuki Discussion

      I am definitly hoping (and predicting) that the last Admiral is not a logia, but doesn't have a DF or has a paramecia and is just naturally powerful and badass he's reached where he was because of his tenacity and willpower alone to stand aside some of the most powerful people on the planet, being just a "normal guy".

    • Enel vs Kizaru

      Or any other logias fighting.
      Specially the ones who have fruit powers that are opposites.

      Like Aokiji vs Ace.

      Sure, at his current stage Ace would probably not even be able to do any significant harm on him, but with enough combat experience and a few years, he could take him on. Who'd win?

      Also, the more perplexing one, Enel vs Kizaru.
      Kizaru is made (presumably, but seems logical to assume that at this stage) out of light. And Enel is lightning. Both move at the speed of light, can explode shit and become light. So who'd win in a fight?

    • RE: Bleach Discussion Part 2

      I suspect that during this fight we will get to see atleast one member of the Zero Squad. If they show up, then it will probably be their weakest, say like the captain that was promoted to the Squad. I dont believe he was mentioned specifically being promoted if there wasnt a reason for it.

      Not to mention the fact that they are the Royal protection squad, and if the Shinigami are seen to be losing to Aizen they might be released in order to protect the King.

      Can we get some more images? I can barely remember any of the old outfits, so seeing something visually would help.

      @BetterBetterNoMi:

      why would Kuma choose to become a cyborg? Coz he serves the governemnt now O_O

      He's the only shichibukai that actually listens to WG

      Exactly, why would he? Can't see a pirate easily or willingly submit themselves as easily and loyally (from what we've seen, perhaps not THAT loyal) as Kuma up and decide to become a cyborg purely to help the world government. So either he was forced into it, which would mean he could be reprogrammed to have some loyalty… But that's slightly farfetched of course. But still, farfetched is the name of hte game when it comes to this author.

    • RE: The next new Nakama?

      @Fire Fist:

      Even then, Piccolo hardly ever used his regenerative ability, and it certainly wasn't as advanced as Buu's (Cell, yes, because Cell was made from Piccolo and the others' cells, as the name implies). Kakashi's Sharingan, too, is much less useful than the Uchiha's Sharingan, and it knocks him out everytime he uses it. And Light had Misa, but Misa wasn't very bright, so her help wasn't perfect. She actually caused more trouble than she prevented.

      Maybe I did word it wrong, though. Basically, I'm trying to say a logia in the crew would disrupt the balance, unless it had severe restrictions. For example, a breath logia that couldn't be used outside, or a seaweed logia that can still be cut. Oda could find a way, but I still don't think he'd do it…

      Seaweed logia 😆

    • RE: Dr Vegapunk = Pirate?

      @BetterBetterNoMi:

      No, Vegapunk didn't create Kuma's existence. It's simple - Vegapunk works for the government, Kuma was ap irate who agreed to become a shichibukai, Vegapunk turned him into a cyborg. We can also see that Franky used to be a normal person before becoming a cyborg.

      Ah, but therein lies the mystery. Why would a perfectly normal (we can assume) ravaging pirate with close to 300 million bounty choose to become a cyborg? I'm sure that this was some involuntary action by either Kuma or Vegapunk.

      @BartholomewKuma:

      Why would the WG do such a bad thing.
      When Kuma was a pirate he was violent but the WG made him a good guy because the WG and Marines are the good guys here.

      If you think the Strawhats are kind, you are reading the wrong manga.

      Why would they do such a bad thing? Like why would they annihilate an entire island and it's population simply because they had certain knowledge? Gee, i don't know…

      I never said anything about good/bad... However, the WG has done far more injustice from what we've seen in the manga than anyone else. They are willing to do anything it takes to get supremacy over the pirates, which would add more credibility to the theory that they'd force a brilliant scientist to work for them.
