Leaked song from the cancelled Bye Bye Bunny. It seems like we lost something special here.
Watch it while you can, it'll probably get pulled pretty fast.
Also the leaked color script. You can actually tell just from this where the song numbers were going to be so it probably would have had 7 songs.

It was a huge hit for a while.
One show was a prequel showing his life and family on Melmac, the other was a fractured fairy tales sort of thing where they did like Robin Hood and Cinderella.
Tales started the same time the season season started in 88, and both ended in 89 with the live action show ending (on a cliffhanger!) just a few months later.
So it was obviously popular enough in 87 to greenlight having three shows simultaneously, and then something happened real fast to end it. Wasn't even a change in the studio heads because the exec at the time didn't leave until 91, so no idea why it crashed so fast.
Got a tv movie to resolve the cliffhanger in 96 but that didn't lead anywhere further.

“Final chapter”. Good to end while still on top. Shame because I think the world has a lot of untapped potential for spinoffs and the like that could’ve been interesting.
Think the thing I’m most bummed about is I looked up info after coming into season 1 blind so I’m now aware of who’s a playable character in the game and some character backstories so I have some inkling as to where some character plots are gonna go.

Huh, so this ISN'T going to me a mostly silent Wall-E sort of thing. Shame, that first trailer was amazing. I'm still interested given the director, (Lilo and Stitch, How tot Train Your Dragon) but not as interested.

Well, we knew there was a fairly extensive voice cast, so it's not too surprising.
EDIT: Okay, I actually watched the trailer and, yeah, the talking animals may have been a bit much, although the robot learning their "language" was apparently in the book.

Oh sure but it still could have been silent for the first half hour, or silent protag before the humans showed up. The animals talking wasn't on my bingo card.

I see endless opportunities of cute, but we'll see how the story itself pays off. Wall*E didn't need a lot of action to be amazing.

So apparently now that MeTV Toons is out... Warner Bros. was keeping restored prints of Captain Planet locked away in their vault this whole time? Like the show was for some unfathomable reason rescanned and is in HD?
And surprisingly, the DiC logo is still intact: the first time it’s ever been presented in high definition.
I’m curious to see how they seasons 4-6, since it’s one of very few Hanna-Barbera productions to have the 1994 logo (more specifically the “Action” variant with Jonny Quest at the end) always be a part of the closing, and that’s never been presented remastered, either. CAN it be remastered? We'll find out in due time.

Well for starters this was supposed to come out years ago. And as we all know (for some of us anyway) Batman The Animated Series is the only Batman animated series that matters.
Snark aside part of me would like the idea of getting invested in this series but I’ve see too many shows I like fucked over by the Network with a few more sabotaged by questionable writing/creative choices.

@Time-Control-Magician I think Worm Paranoia and the M&M shorts were taken out of syndication for being too "adult". Bakshi actually disowned the M&M shorts upon their release.
