Why don't you just open a donation type thing through Paypal and one someone gives you the money for the "donation" you send a DVD? Just a thought.
On another note, who drew the iceburg for episode 6?

I dont know why he would even have to Handle money..
All he has to do is make an image file (iso, daa, whichever) and throw it on the internet. There's people that are more than willing to seed it…
Idk the legal ramifications though, he'd definatly have to add that "not for sale or retail" thingy everychance he can.
I'd say before each ep, and before a start up menu.
hahahah hilarious vid, i love the Cheetor bit!
OHHHHHHHHHH!

It's called "I don't want to be sued for selling footage of One Piece that I don't own."
And of course, I drew the iceburg, mad art skills, serious, I have a thread.
You know… Maybe Mercman was Sanji in disguise.
But anyways I'm surprised that you aren't making Lucci more into a Emeril kinda person Shiny. I mean can we expect Lucci to say BAM now and then with his pasta references?
Roku ougan BAM.
I dunno, I guess that would be an okay idea… But that's an idea that would go better with Zeff... but since episode 4 is passed, perhaps it would sound good coming from Lucci.
Question: Am I the only one here who thinks Dan Cox does a good job at doing the voices of Usopp and Zoro? I don't mean as in a dub piece sense, I mean like if this were an actual dub (either a fan dub or an official non-4KIDS english dub) that Dan Cox would be good at playing the actual serious roles of the characters.
He would, but the fact that a lot of people won't take him seriously because of his pillowbiter jokes would ruin his amazing carreer. Just look at the original Superman!
I think we need an official Dub Piece apology form.
The Usopp in Dub Piece is even better than the dub. You guys sound better than professionals. What's Yokozuna going to be?
LMFAO! Oh god….that video gave me so many laughs. I think why it was so funny was cause I actually read the event happen which lead up to the video. XD
It's called "I don't want to be sued for selling footage of One Piece that I don't own."
You can distribute the episodes on DVD legally so long as the only charge covers the cost of the media, ie. the DVD, or if there is no charge at all.

This is true. points to Ivyna J. Spyder, who distributes Kirby fansubs on DVD the same way
It's still to risky in my honest opinion.
The dub made me lose my taste on the anime when 4kids fucked it up with the editing and shit.

And that has to do with us because…..
Episode 5 is uploading as we speak, yadda yadda

You know what would be amusing? If someone existed in this world which thought Dub Piece was the actual OP dub.

Tristan's original voice: I do!

Well, it's perfectly legal to sell it for ONLY the cost of the media. If anyone says anything just tell them you aren't charging for the content, just the media. Besides, I've never seen anything happen to people who distribute content for only the cost of the media.

It's just that I don't own the One Piece media though, and I used a few KF subs, and they title "Not for Rent or Sale."
OK, it's up. Takinawa was already able to access it, but yeah.
Megaupload is at this stupid link
Last thing on the agenda is Episode 6, then maybe we can also serve Doug the Dub and such.
I will attempt to throw in a bam or two in the future episodes of Dub Piece. As for the DVD, only a select fewcoughmecough and a few others will actually receive the DVD. Even though it is legal to sell the DVD just to cover the expense of the media, we still don't want to get in trouble anyway. You wouldn't want to see TWSS go to jail would you? Well, unless you guys pay bail that is….NO ANAL RAPE!

Once again,
And as far as Dub Piece DVDs go, that whole thing was just a joke some couple-a-pages back on this thread when episode 3 was released. It's not like theres gonna be an 'official' release.
Still, Dragon Warrior, I'm all for having "official" DVD cover art up for download, those who already have the episodes stored on their computer will just have to fill in the rest of the blanks.
Really stupid thing I noticed using school-child level logic:
Steve does Franky.
And now I will be haunted by nightmares of Nami having a penis.

Shiny is Franky (16 characters)
Well shit. Someone kick me in the gnards and call me a retard. Curse you Shiny and your flexible and awesome voice acting!
falls into dark pit of eternal retardation
You never know about DVDs, perhaps someone could be digitally remastering the episodes…
Dub Piece: Special Edition.
Now with new music and graphics.
I agree, a remastered Dub Piece would be exciting to see, one way to do it so everyone could get it without really any extra expendature is to master a DVD and create an ISO file (a DVD image file) and a high resolution jacket image, put those into a rar file, and have that uploaded online.
Also, I was re-watching the episodes I downloaded from Megaupload, and while watching the candyman segment of episode 4, the chicken-fucking part stood out to me. I was reminded of a "Meanwhile…" from Johnny The Homicidal Maniac #3 where two aliens (who their entire species seems to suffer some sort of advanced retardation) have some guy (one of creator Jhonen Vasquez's friends, Rob Hummel) "sexually interact" with what they called "a human female," which was really a chicken. The whole ordeal was quite funny.

"Well in episode 1, we orginally wanted AT-AT walkers and Womprats strolling around Alabasta in the scene where Crocodile defeats those Pig-Pirates, but technology was just so limited at the time…"
For Season 2, some will be full episodes, others will be nutshells.
And to finally put an end to any further discussion about a certain strange event, and make sure nothing like it ever happens again:
I LOLed at the Italian Lucci scene and with Franky hollering at the end. XD
Well shit. Someone kick me in the gnards and call me a retard. Curse you Shiny and your flexible and awesome voice acting!
falls into dark pit of eternal retardation
pulls you out of that pit of eternal retardation Sorry, but out of the two of us, I think I belong in there for obvious reasons >.> Since my mistake with Shiny should have been more obvious… well, see ya
holds his nose, grabs a suit case, and jumps into the dark pit
Back on topic: okay, again with the curiousity about Dub Piece season 2, where exactly do you plan to start dubbing it from? During the water 7 arc or after? I ask since water 7 had some members of CP9 as well (Kaku, Lucci, Kalifa, and Blueno)

I said the same thing to Unknownfile, except I used Dewbacks.
I fixed the audio for Episode 1, but since I don't have the WMM file for it, I could only turn up or turn down the volume that had no music in the background. Everything else was intact, because I like showing progress.

Thats it! I was trying to think of what those things were called, and I'm not exactly the best resource for Star Wars terminology…
In retrospect, you could've made some of the Alabasta pirates sound like Tusken Raiders
and my final question for the time being:
since we're going to wait awhile until Dub Piece season 02 begins, any plans for doug the dub in the mean time? Ep 2 was hilarious, and I'd hate to Doug the dub die out.

only time will tell:ninja:
No offense, Shiny, but Robin and Kokoro sound WAAYYY more feminine than Nami or Vivi. You should adopt a higher-pitched voice, if possible, or perhaps have someone kick you in the testicles prior to recording (kidding about that last remark). And no, I don't masturbate to the voices.

Robin sounds like Dan if he was baked.

GEE, I WONDER WHAT FOR?
UNKNOWN is my hero for two reasons. 1. Dub Piece DVD; 2. For using a Mac.
Macintosh is Crocodile.
PC is… Captain Kuro.

If there are DVDs, you guys should do commentary.
Friggin crazy stuff there.

I'd love to, but it would be hard to fit all that on a DVD. Too bad there isn't a way that I could used a DVD creator that can create alternate audio.
Unkownfile, any chance you could PM me some installation instuctions for OXx86.
I may buy a larger HDD partition it and run some OSX on it. A guide would be awsome if you have it, even a plce to find the files would be cool.

Well, I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard to find programs that can create DVDs with multiple audio tracks on certain titles. I've already got some ideas for programs, I really only have to test if they work… A commentary track would be awesome though.

You find it, then you'll be my hero.
I still nominate iDVD for this job, so I'll see how it turns out when it's downloaded and installed. Here's the arsenal for the mastering for the curious:
Mac OS X software (the video department) iDVD
iMovie HD
Windows XP software (the audio department) Sonic Foundry ACID (for sound mixing)
Sonic Foundry Sound Forge (for sound mastering)
Also, zerocustom, check your PM(S).
Well, for video and audio on Windows XP software, I was thinking Sony Vegas for main video stuff, and DVD Architect for acutal DVD rendering (with multiple audio, since the official site says it has that capability).
EDIT: Plus, with DVD Architect 4 and Vegas 7 I can create chapter markers to put on the DVD for quick scene accessability.
EDIT2: YES! It is confirmed, I CAN create the DVD to have multiple audio tracks in DVD Architect. I can put in as many tracks as you'd like. Dragon Warrior, I am now your hero.
Also, I've played around with iDVD and iMovie HD, and iMovie HD is sort of like the Mac version of Windows Movie Maker, kind of useless, and with almost zero features. As for iDVD, it's okay, but nowhere near professional. If you want the professional stuff, you really need to get something like Final Cut.
