Posted this on Discord, and it's only the teasiest of teasers, but dammit I am so excited for a stop-motion animated Guillermo del Toro Pinocchio.

Oh yeah baby S3 of Kid Cosmic is on, and it was AMAZING. It's only six episodes but damn, each one deliver something different, and there are a couple of gut-wrenching moments for the bittersweet reach peak kino. Craig done it again boys.
I saw the first..3(?) Of Season 3 and its wildly fun stuff. Sad theres only 3 more to go, but I know this show can turn on a dime and deliver some great character stuff on a moment's notice.

Just wanted to give a quick shout-out to Kosperry, an artist I discovered recently on Youtube. They've released a series of (very) short videos, some animated, some just a series of still frames, but they do a fantastic job emulating Don Bluth's art style.
Also, a link to their instagram:https://www.instagram.com/kosperry/

Futurama is being revived again. Nostalgia never allows things to stay down do they?

Is anyone watching Vox Machina?
-
-
someone from my work recommended to me…best decision ever.
Same, I’m really enjoying it, my friend tried to get me to watch the podcast/YouTube show it’s based on but that was like 400 something hours long so I’m satisfied with just watching the show
-
The Legend Of Vox Machina is awesome :D
I know of Critical Role since its Voice Actors playing DND,Look forward to the next episodes tomorrow -
More Cuphead:
Wayne Brady sounds great as always. Apparently they got a Youtuber to play the Devil? Whoever he is, he sounds great too.
-
Speaking of youtubers voicing characters, check out Smiling Friends.

There is a Blue's Clues movie coming out with the return of Steve and Joe.

And now we have Grey DeLisle as Ms. Chalice:
This is just looking more and more fun.

Not too surprising, she’s in almost everything.

i fund this
i like the classic cartoon style, but the option is a bit weird

i like the concept. being able to decide whether the thief gets the prize or get squashed on purpose for laughs has potential.

Reminds me of those old YA novels where you can choose what decision a character will make and what ending that will get you.
Or maybe Dragon's Lair.

Anyone catched Arthur's final episode?
-
Has anyone watched Arcane? That show was waaaaaaaaaay better than I thought it would be, I'm thinking of giving it a second watch
Anyone else watch it?
-
Arcane was a lot of fun. I wish I didn’t read LoL lore and theories because I liked being surprised by things and it won’t have the same impact knowing “that person’s a Legend, they’ll probably be fine or their story goes X”.
Also, as much as I love the characters we’ve been following, I’m hoping they’re only given a minor focus in season 2 and we explore other parts of the world.
-
Considering that we hear Caityln, Vi and Jinx in the teaser then I don't think we'll move away from Piltover/Zaun so soon. (Maybe a little of Nox.)
Meanwhile, I just wanna see Viktor and Warwick go crazy.

First season of the Cuphead Show was pretty good. Not great, but pretty good.
! I guess I wasn't really sure what I was expecting from a TV show based on Cuphead, but I suppose this is about what one could expect. I didn't know if the show would have an overarching plot or if it would be more episodic (was kinda hoping for the former), but it kind of does both. Most episodes are stand-alone, but a few deal with the Devil storyline. Most of the episodes are fine, but they do tend to rely on tired cliches. The "taking care of a baby" and "misunderstanding" episodes in particular were pretty lame and unneeded.
! The characters are also fine, though not exactly bursting with personality or humor. Kinda wished they'd expanded the cast a bit and showed us more of the bosses from the game, though I'm not sure how much that would've helped.
! And then there's the animation. Whereas the Cuphead video game did a fantastic job of emulating the "rubber hose" animation style of the 30's, the TV show doesn't exactly do that. The video game felt like a game that really could have come out in the 30's (had video games existed back then), but the show feels more like a modern cartoon with a 30's aesthetic, if that makes sense. The animation is clean and polished, but it really doesn't go anywhere close to all-out with the zaniness or inventive imagery that we saw in the video game.
! So, overall, it's just a fairly standard kids cartoon, which is a shame as it could have been a lot more.
! Oh, and the season ends on a cliffhanger, which kinda sucks. -
I just want to say The dragon prince is a great show (same writer but better than Avatar IMO) and more people should watch it
-
I would watch it more if there is any sign of they releasing more seasons.

Producers confirmed 7 seasons and the next one will likely be early/mid 2023.

Is anyone watching Vox Machina?
Late reply but yes, it was great.
I also struggle with keeping up with RPG session podcasts. There are a few I've tried to get into but they're soooo long. I play in my own games for 4 hours twice a week as it is.

Anyone else watch The Boys Presents: Diabolical yet?
It's an anthology animation series, different artists and writers for animated shorts. Garth Ennis wrote the third episode and it's done in the art style of the comic. I'm not sure how it comes off if you've never seen any of The Boys. I think most of the stories feel stand-alone and disconnected from the main story, but a couple of them are about the main characters and connected to the main story. It's overall pretty dark and violent but not every one is blood and guts everywhere and there is some humor as well as poignant stuff. -
Undone Season 2 is finally coming out It's coming out on April 29th.
-
It's been what 3 years?
-
It's been what 3 years?
part of me was wondering if this will ever get a second season, now i know its a thing. egads, its been that long?
and am i the only one who notices that this season is based around the Big Butter Battle Book?

-
How amazingly random.
-
There’s a Tekken netflix series coming out
I think I might give it a shot, seems to remind me a lot of Ryu’s story from Street Fighter
-
It…really isn't it.

Been rewatching Batman: TAS.
Just got done with the Two-face two-parter
Man this show is just so good. The pacing, the writing, the animation, the voice acting. My favorite thing though is how emotional and empathetic Bruce/Batman is -even when in-character as Batman, he shows a LOT of emotion. Like when the ruthless CEO who was gonna blow up a neighborhood gets away? It DEVASTATES him. I love it.
-
Batman: TAS is still the best version of Batman we ever got for me. Almost everything about it just so amazing.
-
I think a lot of people agree that Batman: TAS is the best Batman ever.
-
I don't know if anyone here been following this situation about several cast members of the english dub for Miraculous Ladybug quitting the show before the production of Season 5, due to low pay.
https://comicbook.com/anime/news/miraculous-lady-bug-dub-cast-controversy/
-
I qon't say TAS will never be topped, because there's always a chance an even better more definitive version will come along some day.
But anything that comes after will obviously owe to the groundwork it set. What they keep, what they change, it'll all be in reaction to that version of the show. Even something like Brave and the Bold which was pure fun was in reaction.
But given just how many episodes there were, and how it ran for decades through all the different shows? As a whole it's probably always going to be the best Batman series. Just liek Spectacular is going to be the best Spiderman.
Other versions might do a given aspect or storyline better, but in terms of distilling and perecting everything that works? It's going ot be impossible to beat.

Funnily enough I've been watching Batman Beyond as well, recently.

I really worry that the TAS revival/spiritual sucessor thing on HBO is going to lean too hard into the Serious Seriousness of it all. PG-13, more blood, violence and adult references. TAS threaded the needle great between being kid-friendly, fun and serious. By the "Return of the Joker" movie, I thought they were pushing it a bit far.
-
I would argue Mask Of The Phantasm was more dark and violent than both versions of Return Of The Joker.
