Now I hear it alot, mind you I never read the actual manga but I know Oh Great!'s work is very mature but exactly what did they do to Tenjou Tenge?

CMX basically took Gantz and turned it into Ichigo 100%. Heavy edits and plot changes all designed to cut down the excessive nudity/cursing/violence/rape to make Ten Ten appropriate for thirteen year olds.

Granted, CMX's standards for thirteen year olds are waaaay higher than Viz's, but since Ten Ten was an adult manga, the "adults" do not like the changes. I, however, approve in full.

Hmmm, so yeah Viz's translation on lin yao is accurate. In the Tankobans 12-14 in the character page they call him Lin yao. I for one hate lin and think Ling sounds waayyy better.

Yes, stoptazmo is slow but after that torrent you will only have to download like 10 chapters. 3 rounds of 3 downloads and you should be done in an hour.

And by mature I ment shit like nudity, violence, etc..

My question is about Pride! Is he real, a game or fanfiction?

I also read that he is featured in the offical FMA movie opening and is of some relation to

The manga is compeletly different then the anime. It seperates from volume 6 compeletly, but their a lot of things different earlier too.

Basically the rundown is this:

! King Bradley is Wrath in the manga. Pride has shown up, but we don't know what he looks like. He seems to have some authority among the homonculus. Sloth we've only seen the back of, but appears to be a huge, hulking man.
Greed was re-absorbed by Father (the mysterious creator of the homonculus) and then put into a new body via his Philosopher's Stone. This new body happened to be Ling, the prince of Xing. So now Ling is the new Greed, but Ling's true concious still lies dormant within Greed.

I'll admit that towards the ending when Ed ends up in this world was possibly one of the dumbest plot twists in an anime. What made it worst was that the writers came up with that idea that alchemy is powered by the lifes of this world. While I'll admit that was a bad way to end the anime early, that idea and plot twist was pretty unique if you ask me.

By the way, what did you mean "Feather thingy"? It's been so long since I've seen the anime.

When ed took the alchemy exam and some random guy's alchemy went wrong or something and ed clapped his hands and made some feather montage. The way the manga had him pass was wayyy cooler.

Ed makes a spear with his hands, and runs up to bradley pointing it at his neck.

"You guys should have better securiety for these things"

Bradley chops the spear off at the end. Waayyy badass

quick FMA question

what Determines Al's strength

because it could be taken as 1 of the following

Hes still like he was 11 (although not strong enough to carry the armor)
he'd be as a person who was wearing the armor
it'd be about the same as if a someone threw a metal glove at you.

I can't decide and its never really explained

Al always defeats Ed in training pars, so it's been slightly implied that Option 2 would be the most plausible answer. However, remember that since he IS the armor, and not a person being burdened by the armor, Ed is just as fast a normal person.

The art's piss poor, and everyone knows it. The designs are simple and appear drawn by an unsteady hand; this is common in the newer chapters (also present in Naruto), though harder to detect in the earlier material and in "poster shots", or the shaded covers.

i didnt know that :O i mean, i know she's not perfect with ppl, but she draws a lot of detail… and the way she does movement :wub:

Hi. A quick question. Is FMA manga-version better than the anime? I read the first volume of the manga and thought it was interesting. Then I though I just could watch the anime instead (like I do with OP) - but FMA anime is horrible. Its dead boring. Im currently on episode 11.

So what should I do? Read the manga or continue watching the anime in case the story picks up and gets better?

FMA anime doesn't suck. The story diverted heavily from the manga plot shortly after the first season, but this was all done with the author's approval, and she even assisted team BONES with certain aspects of the story. Manga is better, but if it wasn't for the anime ALOT of people wouldn't know about this, myself included.

ya, I can agree that the manga is better (even though I haven't read it all yet) but the anime wasn't bad. It's actually my favorite anime. sorry to hear you thought it was borring. hey, at least watch #13. That's my favorite.

I liked the anime to the end. If ed and al had stayed in their own world insted of ed going to germany it would have been great. Same with the movie (actually that would make the movie "decent")
