! Regarding GER, Araki did establish the only way to beat KC is using the arrow. So, I have no problem with that aspect. I think my biggest issue is that they spent more time trying to get the arrow. When the actual Giorno Vs Diavalo happen, it was over so fast that it was very underwhelming for the final boss fight.

I guess 38 and 39 are Rolling Stones? I forgot how many chapters that took it.
I doubt it would take 2 full episodes for that. I was thinking half (or some) of episode 38 and then all of episode 39. But it would be pretty bad if episode 37 ends in the middle of the last fight then we have to wait 3 weeks for the finale and Sleeping Slaves. The episode today adapted more than I was expecting though so maybe they will do a full 2 episodes of Sleeping Slaves and probably an extended epilogue.

They die defeating someone or exposing an enemies ability, or aquiring some information and passing it on… when nothing of that works, their death at least give their friends extra motivation to defeat their enemy.
HP's death accomplished nothing. Nothing was gained, nothing was set in motion. The story didn't even demanded her death, it could have just moved along the same way keeping her alive. She simply died. For no reason, for no one and that's it.

! So you mean impactful from a philosophical perspective rather than a character/narrative perspective? That's a really interesting point of view! Part 7 is definitely more nihilistic than the preceding parts so HP's death is almost a capstone in that regard.

Considering that the next episode is called King of Kings, I really doubt they're finishing the fight next episode. I don't think this hour long special was planned very far in advance so I don't think they made the anime around the fact that they're moving timeslots.

I read Part V twice and I honestly couldn't remember ANYTHING in this episode. Which apparently gave me the genuine anime-only fan experience because I spent the whole episode with a "… what!???" face

Still don't think it's confirmed whether we're getting 2 episodes back to back or a single long episode. Sleeping Slaves is one of my favorite parts of part 5 though so I'm excited.
I doubt anyone will do scanlations using the color version of the manga. That version didn't please the JoJo fandom as much as the OP one pleased OP fans. The digital coloring compromises a lot of the art details, so people prefer to see Araki's drawings in all its details than seeing them in color.
Is JoJo Colour Project a joke to you? They already done it.
