yes in one of the newer scans I can pick out at least 3 jojo characters but 1 was Dio and 2 weren't Part 3

Yes there's four in that shot. Jotaro in the center, Josuke w/ Crazy Diamond behind him, Dio in the top right corner, and GioGio w/ Gold Experience in front of him.

Josuke is the hero of part 4 and GioGio is the hero of part 5.
What has me even more stoked is the fact that there are still 6 more series left to be announced and counting all the characters from the last game (battle, support and help) and the characters we've been shown, by my count we have 185 out of the promised 300 characters. (bare in mind this includes playables, supports and the little help komas)

The majority of the characters on there are battle characters, but he may end up being a support only. That would suck, Sena and Hiruma would make great battle characters.

Actually, MR. FULLSWING may have a good chance of gaining battle koma. OVER TIME can become the legit baseball manga representation, seeing as how FULLSWING is more about comedy than anything. Can't you see Saruno tossing gyaotchi or chucking shotputs, dashing with parachutes trailing behind him? That would totally rock!

That is Katsuragi Yako, the Heroine of sorts from Private Evil Eye: Brain Eater Neuro. When Neuro solves a mystery, he posesses her hand to point out the culprit.
Oh, and Mr. Prince, I hate to bitch, but it doesnt seem like highervoltage is working at the moment. Should I be worried? Or am I just being retarded and it's IRC?

Majin Tantei Nogami Neuro
Neuro is a Being from the underworld , who likes to eat "riddles" and "mysteries" and since he had heard that mysteries abound in the world above , he comes surface side in search of the ultimate riddle capable of satisfying his insatiable hunger.
He arrives in front of Yako Katsuragi whose father has been murdered , and smells a tasty riddle … and in turn helps her.
Neuro forces yako to be his guide and they together go in search of riddles to solve.Unfortunetly, only 6 chapters have been translated and it's up to/over 4 volumes so far. It's pretty good stuff kinda like Detevtive Conan only with demons, soul-eating, and freaky things. Good read from what I've read.

I'm considering reading the DB (which includes Z) manga cause I've only ever seen the anime, which of most was the english edited dub. And for the longest time it was my fav series, and still now it olds a very special place in my heart.

By the looks of it, Naruto might have his demon form active from the start of the battle. It also makes me wonder if Gear 2 will be active from the start. Assuming they keep Seven as the max koma number, 7Koma Luffy may be in Gear 2 all the time and switch to Gear 3 for his X moves.
Either way, I can't wait for some people to start ripping sprites from the game ^_^

Possibly, and yet I don't think I saw him activate Gear 3 when he did Giant Gattling Gun. Additonally another sprite seemed to show Naruto jumping while in Kyubin (or whatever it's called). Perhaps Luffy does the Gear 2 pose before he attacks, simular to Afro Luffy's "Hell Yeah!" in JSS1. Or maybe the screenshot we saw a few weeks back was mearly a beta shot to show off the new forms and they won't appear in the final game, simular to this one for JSS. Or maybe my theory will prove to be wrong.
For now I believe some of the new screenshots suggest that Luffy and Naruto will stay in their powered up form for an entire battle, like Yoh did with Armoured Oversoul, but I wouldn't reccomend adding this theory to Wikipedia until we see more evident.
But like I said before, I'll be extreamly happy if this does end up being true. It will give me more material to work with when the sprites are ripped.

I'm not waiting for the ROM. I'm not actually overly fond of ROMs in general. But I do enjoy working with game sprites, and with new characters like Franky, Hitsugaya and Train and new moves for Luffy, Naruto and Zoro, it can give a gif maker like me quite a bit to "play with". And I also imported JSS with no problem and intend to do the same with JUS, though I may wait for some online translations to pop up. Like I've said before, I hope the "koma cheat" is kept in JUS or a varient is included.

Man, they are putting their heart & soul into this game. Jump Superstars All the latest attacks & characters. I wish more compaines would take notes on how to make excellent anime based games. May have to get me a DS for this.

Now the only thing I'm hoping to hear is that at least one of Josuke or Giorno are playable, if not both. And I wonder if they'll be throwing in Jonathon/Joseph/Jolyne, or are going to save them for (assuming it will be coming) the third game. In the end, I just want at least ONE new battle character from any part of Jojo.

Definitely Strength. He'll have a Humor based move and/or support koma or two, most likely (I'm betting that at least one of them will be "White Hole").
