Heaven seems like a Dictatorship under the rule of god kinda like Cuba looks fun from the outside but you wouldn't want to stay
From what I can gather about Heaven and God, it seems to basically be a paradise with no pain (and since any sin would cause pain, sin naturally just doesn't exist, nor would we want to do it).
Actually, much of what I imagine (though my imagine is nothing to compared to what it could be) isn't the usual "ride on the clouds" deal, but more like fields, forests, a maginificent, massive city, and things to do even more amazing than video games, chocolate, sex, or One Piece. XD
and if you go to the old school 7 layers of hell some of them weren't that bad.
oh and I haven't been baptized so I'm going to purgatory neway (if they are correct), does that still exist?
The levels and Purgatory stuff is never mentioned in the Bible, so I'm not sure what that's about.
From what I've been unable to understand, Hell itself is more like, well, a "painful nonexistence," I think. Basically, God doesn't send anyone there. People that choose not to follow Him are choosing to be away from God, and as such are choosing for themselves a place where God doesn't exist. God is often mentioned as "the light," so I can only imagine Hell as a big black… "nothing," where a person burns (possibly in more ways than just through fire), sees nothing, yet remembers everything about their life, every mistake, and every instance they had to turn away from it.
Come on, even the demons themselves say they don't want to be there. o_o
Most people don't choose to be homosexual or bisexual. So asking them to "turn away from it" is asking them to not be who they are.
I believe some people may be born with some types of "attraction" to the same gender, but that doesn't make them automatically "gay." I have what could possibly be considered the same "attractions," yet I feel it more as a brotherly love than any sort of "I want to have sex with them" deal.
I don't believe that having "feelings," is wrong, it's simply how you interpret them and what you do with them that is (such as acting upon ANY kind of immoral sexual desire, straight or no).
Catholics believe Heaven to be a place of "infinite pleasure" and Heck of "infinite pain". The problem is, without contrast, there's no way to tell pain and pleasure apart; how do I know I'm in Heck or Heaven if I don't know what pleasure/pain is? In this, there's no concrete difference.
Uh, I would think with Biblical refrence, God himself pretty much explained it. o.O
I'd rather become "nothing" when I die, or preferably, reincarnated as another human being, or better yet, an alien. :D
Haha. Makes me often wonder what the "new spiritual bodies" in Heaven are gonna be like (though personally, I've always wanted to be able to just jump through the air and land without being hurt; I wanna body that can do that XD ).
