@superluccix:
So assuming that Eileen in Wendys body is around like 80% of her max, since in this chapter she realizes her magic power didnt decrease as much as she thought, shouldn't her magic blasts against Erza knock her out? The reason I ask this is because didnt Erza need help to defeat the Sand Spriggan? And even then, she clearly was knocked out or exhausted at the end of it? If this is true, then shouldn't Eileen in Wendys body be at least that strong power wise? How is Erza able to continuously tank all of her attacks?
She shouldn't have been able to. If I were to defend it, I'd probably chalk it up to her new armor which we know nothing about. Therefore, its abilities can be anything that fits the plot's demands.
Hell even Wendy was able to operate that body like it was nothing, shit even the first thing she notices about the body is her boobs, not the blood gushing from her head from the slash.
Because boob jokes are the utmost importance.
But sadly Erza is in her red pants, so we all know whats going to happen here. And remember, these are the pants that make her Attack at her highest, which definitely happens, but it also makes her Defense at her lowest, which never fucking happens. Shes going to tank more hits from Eileen, the strongest female Spriggan, one who even Acnologia acknowledged somewhat.
The thing is, her nakama pants doesn't give her any offensive boosts at all as it has no magical properties whatsoever. She has to equip it so she can use her strongest sword which isn't compatible with the rest of her magic armor because… reasons. Doesn't matter though, because she has built-in plot armor.
August doesn't seem like the dumbass that Eileen is, but is there even a shred of hope that he could make up for this?
If you wanna give him benefit of a doubt, maybe. Remember, the one who has to defeat him is Jellal who's currently squirming on the ground, devastated by their vast difference in strength. In comparison, Erza and Wendy fared much better against Irene, someone who's supposed to be like August's equal. I don't even know what to make of it, other than assuming that he'll go down in even less believable manner than Irene.
