@Roland_Deschain:
well, thats exactly what Pudding is doing though. she just gave them a way to traverse through big moms teritorry without hitting any more islands or possibly running into guarding ships. thus, he wont be causing havok were big mom doesn't want him to and is ensured to be on time for the feast and his own ritualistic sacrifice. now he will even land exactly where they want him to, not somewhere random on WCI. what could be better?

come on, sure it isn't 100% that shes actually knowingly luring them into a trap. but no sense at all? none of this seems suspious to you? get real.
edit: something else to note thats suspicious in this chapter; the SHs ask Pudding if shes not scared of betraying Big Mom. shes like "nah, im sure it will be fine" does BM seem like the kind of person who would take a betrayal like that lightly? i mean, flesh and blood or not, i'm sure there would be severe repercussions
already said it but i'm gonna repeat myself…
it's suspicious? sure,even overly so...but it also has to make sense in the story,at least when we are talking about a competent writer like Oda,and as things are now (of course we don't have the complete picture and it's a work of fiction, where new element can come out at a moment notice),the "trap" doesn't make any sense,it's useless for big mom to lure them anywhere..if it's whole cake island they were already going there..if the map is false why amking them move when you already have the sunny without guard at choco island?just steal the ship and they are stuck on the island,then just send whoever you want to deal with them..the possibility are really endless,we are talking about a yonkou and we are currently on her nation.
and it's not just that,as i already said,many people are fixated on the fact that she might have not met sanji..but the problem is,saying that she met him didn't gave her any advantages,she didn't have any reason to lie..what exactly would have happened if she just answered "no" when they asked if she already met sanji? nothing,the discussion would have continued and she would have had offered her help anyway because she was already being exceedingly gentle,so she could have offered her help anyway with the same exact motivation "i don't want to stay with someone who regrets the marriage,i'll make you meet him to be sure it's what he wants"
it's totally possible that those are just "plotholes" ,and pudding is just lying and some parts of the current arc will continue to nont make sense...but i usually talk about onepiece with the assumption that in the end things will make sense,and are not just put for swerve sake
