No, just no. The birdcage was indestructible. I don't think even think Mihawk could cut. And on another note, Zoro is not as strong Doffy and would lose in a fight with no plot contrivances; hell, Luffy would've lost if Gatz and the citizens of Dressrosa didn't stall Doflamingo. Doffy was pretty fucking strong and while he wasn't anything compared to Kaidou, he was superior to Luffy (and Zoro) during Dressrosa.

Whether Luffy was definitively superior to Doffy or not is one thing, but are you seriously suggesting the stuff regarding Zoro, Doffy, and the bird cage to be anything but right? That's the problem with showing villains do stuff before their designated arcs, Oda's not going to give away their powers like that. It would be one thing if it was in the middle of the Wano arc, but when we're dozens of chapters away from Kaido's arc, I can't really like ideas like that.

As for Zoro vs Doflamingo I will say only that Zoro together with Luffy in 2 vs one would beat Doflamingo pretty fast

Law could have cut the cage with his ability, if he had the juice or was closer to the edge. Should we consider him stronger than an admiral because of that?
No, because his area of expertise is different. Sabo has blunt attacks and flames. Useless against micro strings. Fujitora tried to destroy sharp strings with a flaming boulder. It just won't work. Maybe he could have cut them with his sword or maybe not. We will never know because he wasn't close to the edge and also decided to step back.
Just because someone is generaly stronger than most people, doesn't mean they are automatically better equipped to handle each and every situation. I don't understand why that's so hard to understand after all these years.

The point of the hat is to pass it on so luffy will pass it onto shanks kid that makino is taking care of or had with shanks in the cover storys. (Joy boy was most likely the first person with the hat meaning the hat has been passed on for 800 years)

Jack is not dead he will be a future fight either on zou or for zoro its better this way so that 1 billion bounty's are not considered weak yet even though he got most of his bounty for killing innocent people.

That's a good question. I could only answer with speculation.. but I'd think yes, yes he could. If he can go toe to toe with Shanks, I don't see why Birdcage would give him much trouble.

Fujitora is a swordsman but he seems to use it more defensively than Zoro or Mihawk. I don't think he's very good at cutting things in general. And yes is think Mihawk and Shanks can cut the birdcage. Kaido and Akainu can probably rip it apart and smash it.

I still question whether or not Fuji's an actual swordsman just because the only thing he generally uses it for is defense and his DF (which the sword may have the DF). I would consider him more of a DF user than a swordsman especially if the sword ends up actually having the DF

I agree that this is the most likely explanation, but also remember that he was playing dumb to test Doflamingo. As long as Doffy didn't have too much information on his background Fujitora could have been bluffing about his inexperience with his DF.

It's possible if you consider swords having their own voice/will. We've already had a ship that sailed on its own.

Yeah, it crossed my mind. I just thought it could align with my theory that having a bond with an object makes it easier to interact with its will. Fujitora's sword could be one he's had for years.
Point is, there are ways to go about it that make it possible. This is One Piece after all.

well we have seen him swing a sword to bring a meteor crashing down but when the meteor is falling he doesn't do anything. The initial act is all it takes.

He doesn't need his sword to use his ability, he just prefers it. Most likely giving up his sword to fight would be too unnatural to him. And we've already seen Whitebeard combine his ability with his bisento, to focus the area of effect better.

I think he might be using his ability same way as Law is using his Devil Fruit. With sword being "medium" to use power more efficiently. We already seen Whitebeard adding his power to his bisento(though it could have been also an "awakening" of Whitebeards df power if Oda really had that idea in mind already at that time). What I want to say is that Law and Fujitora are using swords together with their df powers for better effect.

Nobody can tell. We have full chapter summary but chapter itself can arrive 4 days from now. Weird situation but nobody can say for sure how it will go with relase as there is not even single spoiler picture yet.
I don't think Law is comparabl with Fuji. Law can make an operating room, but without his sword, he wouldn't be able to cut his enemies. He needs his power to make the room, and then he needs his sword to cut. Fuji on the other hand would have no need for it. I fail to see how using a sword makes gravity more effective in any way. With Whitebeard it can be presumed that his Bisento increases the sweeping ability of his quake so that it is not focused on an area but has a wider range; something he might not be able to do by extending his arm. We only saw him make one type of arm movement, producing a focused quake. The only time he made a quake to sweep a wider area, he used his Bisento. With Fuji I noticed no such pattern. Apart from the ramen part, he consistently used his sword in different ways whenever he used his ability. But nothing tells me he needed his sword for any of them, not even to increase their efficiency or precision.
I'm almost at Dressrosa on my re-read so I'll pay close attention to it throughout. But from memory, the only thing that made sense was that the sword has the power, not him. I always thought it would be a greatly interesting thing to see, and I haven't seen consistent evidence to point out that he needed his sword for anything he did, unless the sword had the DF power.

Easier to target with the sword. He has no particular reason to not use the sword. That's his cane and defense.

Dunno I am not into spoilers. I only go on Ishuhui to check if the raw is online. Once it is online it usually takes 4 to 8 hours for the chapter to be translated with decent English.
