! well wasn't expecting ONE to reuse that scenario again, at least not so soon. And if anything he came at the perfect time to stop the sibling quarrel. Just his presence is enough to stop what they were doing, he'll probably say something nonchalantly and go walk back to HA HQ. tats will get fed up and leave frustrated but to Fubuki, it will be a small, but very important victory. At least this is my guess.
105v2 this isn't done by the usual translator, but it seems pretty decent
Enjoy
! So Tatsumaki hat less stamina than expected.
! In that case, I'll change my bet to Saitama refusing to interfere unless Tatsumaki begs him to.
! Which is equivalent to total victory.
! I'll take that bet. What's the wager? But it IS a bad bet. There's literally a chapter devoted in the manga about how nobody should have to say 'please' for heroes to help.
105 Part 2 got translated.

! its not about saying please its about refusing to be helped.
Tatsu insisted to take monsters association on her own and got owned pretty badly.
If she admits that she cannot get out of this pinch without help Saitamas point is proven.
! On the other hand one seems to be fond of kirk summations and PUNCH so whatever.
Ahh such cliffhanger i want to know what happens next. That head looks like he is in serious mode
Update time

! Saitama channeling his inner Diglet was pretty hilarious and unexpected.
! Always ending on cliffhangers, damn. Wonder where he took off to…
Bought the soundtrack
Gonna need that translation Asap. Almost went just as I expected. P:
It is the end this time around? Or there are more updates ahead?
Digging at superspeed while looking creepy is apparently just another power of his.

Getting stronger? Huh
–- Update From New Post Merge ---
One point to Tatsumaki Fubuki's group members admit that she's right that they'er holding fubuki back.
It is the end this time around? Or there are more updates ahead?
This is it. Until the next chapter release, anyway.
Way to go Saitama protecting Fubuki (his girlfriend) saying that with an indirect way. And Fubuki she surely cares about her sister it's really a complicated relationship.
Is that all? You got to get stronger with all your strength?
Tatsumaki is batshit crazy, a meek talk no jutsu like that shouldnt make her change, even when injured. What a let down.

I think Tatsumaki was getting little desperate with Saitama specially when she was so worn out, she already tried every trick she could do to Saitama without any effect and in last ditch effort she sealed Saitama underground hoping she could deal Fubuki and her group without interferance.
But she was already worn out after fighting Saitama and on top of that Saitama appears without any injury, bristling with power I guess Tatsumaki had no choice but retreat, this isn't over by a long shot and when Tatsumaki recovers I am certain that she will go after Saitama again.

I get that, but you have to admit that after all that built up tension and most importantly after this:
!
That way to end the episode is nothing short of a crime.

Tats sure didnt care if she got killed, her first thing in mind was not let Fubuki seeing her in a weak state, now that she,her group and Saitama has seen her like that, it was a huge blow to her pride..
As much as people talk about looking forward to seeing Tatsu get beat up, she tends to be pretty fearless and non-flinching at it as shown in the MA arc.
I'm also pretty cool with the resolution so far. The main conflict was between Fubuki (and her group) and Tatsumaki, so it's good to see the group not want to win in that way. Of course, there'll still be more conflicts in the future, so I guess it's not good for those who wanted everything resolved between them here.
Since nothing has been resolved this arc things are bound to get worse like Tatsumaki going insane completely and making a face heel turn.
I don't think this is the end just yet; I could see next chapter being Saitama catching up to Tats, and imparting some Sage Advice. If theres going to be any sort of physical confrontation, it'll just be Saitama casually brushing off some feeble last-ditch tantrum.

I wonder if Tatsumaki degrades to Sonic 2.0 to all Saitama related stuff…
Sonic now reduced to showing up to fight Saitama only to be thrown against the nearest wall for Tatsumaki to want a rematch.
I have the feeling Tats is gonna pull a Ronda Rousey and take an hiatus from the HA after being "humilliated".
It would force the HA to call up Blast.
So we'll get 'Tatsumaki's Day Off' extended?
I wonder if Tatsumaki degrades to Sonic 2.0 to all Saitama related stuff…
in terms of power tats is a much better opponent than sonic could ever hope to be.
Poor Sonic. He could probably be a worthy rival for most of S-class but he picked the one person he has absolutely no chance against.
There are two stages of comprehension when it comes to Saitama's power.
First is when you understand that he's ridiculously strong.
Second is when you understand that he's beyond your realm.
Genos thought that Saitama's power was something he could reach, but then he had that sparring match and stated that he can't even imagine himself being that powerful.
Sonic is still stuck on the first stage. He's always casually beaten by Saitama, but he's never had a prolonged bout with him to truly realise how out of his depth he is. He thinks of Saitama as a mere man who happens to be stronger than him at the moment. He thinks Saitama is a peak he can scale.

Yeah. Same with Fubuki (and a few others) as well. At first, she just thought he was really strong, but not up to Sweet Mask and Tatsumaki. Now, she simply thinks he's at their level rather than something far beyond.

Indeed, and it makes me appreciatte Bang even more, despite being extremely powerful(one-shotting dragons), he was humble enough to see how Saitama was beyond his league from the get go.

Bang is the exception. The other S heroes are too crazy and self absorbed too aknowledge Saitama.
Fubuki is unexperienced and has an inferiority complex thanks to her sister. She probably thinks of Tatsumaki as a terrible monster (she is, in a way)
To be fair, Tatsumaki herself is much more powerful than everyone else in S class. Just not Saitama levels of power, so it's not surprising Fubuki would have a hard time imagining people more powerful than her sister.
At my hiatus I started OPM.
Read Murata's first, watched the anime and after it read the whole webcomic as well…
And holy shit... OPM is by far the best thing in my opinion I have read for the last years. I know it isn't a masterpiece in storytelling and it is a parody. But the "simple" story with the comedy and characters are really awesome. Furthermore I like that there is still some "depth" in it... Not even talking about the actions scenes.
Maybe it is the simplicity which lets me enjoy it more than even One Piece currently.
The anime put my love even further... It is everything I have been missing for years. The actions scenes are actually more DBish as DB itself. The art style is outstanding as well. Madhouse really is awesome.
And it pains me even more that One Piece and DragonBall are nothing compared to it. Thanks TOEI.
PS
Metal Bat is love <3
And if Aohige-san has some tme for me I would like to ask some questions
Really hoping the redrawn manga gets to the Monster Association arc soon.
Really hoping the redrawn manga gets to the Monster Association arc soon.
It seems like it… The introduction has been done.
You're right, but there's still Saitama's martial-arts tournament to be covered, as well as the possible Hero Hunter chase for Watchdog Man.
Anyone care to explain the difference between the original and redrawn versions of this manga to me and which version I should read? Too lazy to Google~

They have BASICALLY The same story with a few differences. Usually the redrawn version has a bit more meat added to some events and fleshes them out a little bit more, tho there's a few things that are wholesale new. (like Saitama's Tournament thing he's doing right now)
The Redrawn version obviously looks way better as Yusuke Murata of Eyeshield 21 fame is behind the art, and it honestly looks spectacular. I think I like his version far better because in his iteration, with the amazing art for most of the manga, it's WAY more readily apparent when Saitama is drawn differently for comedic effect and that makes it way funnier.
ONE isn't a bad artist, I've seen his other manga and it's pretty good, but I think he rushes OPM to get it out as fast as possible.
that being said, and this one should be obvious but the webcomic came first so the story is further along in it. It's like a whole arc or two ahead (depending on if you count Garou and Monster Association as the same or different arcs)
Either way, I'd recommend reading Murata's version first until you're caught up, then if you wana know what happens next, start reading the Webcomic.
Watching the Anime first is also good because they did an amazing job (C'mon, it's Madhouse)

Thanks for the explanation, Rin! I suppose I'll check out the anime this weekend then. I adore the Madhouse adaptions of HxH, Parasyte and Ippo so I'm sure I'll find it enjoyable.

Awesome, Glad to help! ^_^
When you finish the Anime, if you wana jump right into the Manga and pick up where the anime left off, start here.
Honestly I kinda like how less drawn everything looks in the webcomic. Not only is One damned good at paneling his fights in which everything is choreographed pretty well with a flow and direction that makes sense, the unique style kinda gives off that general reminder that this series is not to be taken too seriously, which can often be the case for people who get too engrossed in the "cool" factor. Saitama being drawn consistently nonseriously also kinda gives him an air of not giving any fucks about these weird, giant extrapolations in logic people make, and everyone else being drawn in an absurd way highlights their faults even moreso.
And let's not forget that One can really serve something fantastic if he really chooses to do so. I'd say that the recent boss' appearance was pretty well drawn out in all his forms. He probably brings out a greater level of detail for moments that should be more intimidating, and it definitely works pretty well. Definitely is a highlight in Mob Psycho 100.

Especially when his art's used in Mob Psycho 100, it gives it a rough look that works real well for the series, and I'm glad to see that Bones appears to have taken to roughly maintaining the style in one of its promotional pieces.
All in all, I'd say that there's much more to the webcomic than just being an arc or two ahead.

Yeah ONE style has a lot of charme.
But damn Muratas drawn stuff is absolutely stunning in my opinion. The Boros arc with the airship was just awesome
I think Murata's art no longer has the impact as before.
He no longer does those "frame by frame" animations and other fresh experiments (I never understood why they were removed from the tankoubon versions in the first place). While he is still an amazing artist I think the redrawn version has lost the element of surprise, even when there is a lot of new content on it.
Dunno if an correct translation or anything but I found this
!
Translation by a user from reddit named Schnabeltierchen
Hilarious excerpt from Otomedia about what the One Punch Man boys would do for Valentine’s Day. The answers are assumptions made by the Director (Natsume Shingo) of the anime! Enjoy~
—
SAITAMA As a result of his intensive training because he wanted to be a hero, he gained a strength so great that he felt like he lost something of his in return.
Q: What would Saitama do during Valentine’s Day? A: Probably fidget around a lot and peep at his mail box.
Q: What is the best way to give chocolate to him? A: Right when he’s done with his One Punch move. Giving him chocolate right at that moment would be the best method.
GENOS With a huge fan club full of beautiful girls, he himself pays no attention to it at all, nor does he care about his own appearance. Instead, he finds himself attracted to Saitama’s strength and aims to be a worthy disciple.
Q: What would Genos do on Valentine’s Day? A: Incinerate all the chocolate he received into a melted pile of goop.
Q: What is the best way to give him chocolate? A: Catch him with Saitama by his side and prepare two chocolates to give both of them at the same time (but only give your favorite chocolate to Genos instead) lol
SONIC After his humiliating defeat from Saitama, he finds him to be a worthy opponent.
Q: What would Sonic do on Valentine’s Day? A: Because he likes to think he’s a present day kind of guy, he would be training at a gym.
Q: What is the best way to give him chocolate? A: If you write on the chocolate “xx-Thunder” or something clever like that, he might take it.
BTW a question, Are EXTRA chapters who are in the volumes considered as canon side stories? If yes…
This guy could become a future Saitama

I never said the webcomic was BAD necessarily, just that it does clearly lack polish.
Plus, my big thing is… it's kindof a big part of the joke that Saitama is drawn differently than everyone else. Saitama gives no fucks so he looks kinda derpy as a result in the way he's drawn. I just, personally, think that joke is better portrayed in the Murata version because in the ONE Version, I think the lack of detail and the roughness of the art makes it a little harder to determine that Saitama's supposed to be overall drawn different. I think seeing the Murata version where everyone is drawn really well, and then you cut to Saitama who practically looks like Murata traced the ONE version, it makes the joke work better.
Like, this chapter is the perfect illustration of what I'm getting at.
You watch these people argue with Saitama and the scene keeps cutting back and forth between these people yelling at him with a fair level of definition to the way they're drawn, then it cuts back to Saitama who is VERY noticeably drawn in a much more simple and silly way. I think it's hysterical. When he goes "Serious", in this case, when he's goaded into giving a "Proper greeting" he is suddenly drawn well for a frame, and then immediately reverts back to simpler lineart and less complicated shading.
The ONE version doesn't have this as much because everything is overall simpler so the gap between how simple Saitama is drawn and how everyone else is drawn is much narrower, and I think it lessens the impact of the joke.
Just my opinion tho, ONE's version definitely has its own charm as well.
