Thank you so much! It works perfectly! Also I think the chapter is awesome, great job!
Thanks. I'll be happy to squeeze any more together that parappa decides to throw out now that I have a reliable way of uploading them.
No rush of course. Especially since I will be out be out of town and away from my technology this weekend so hopefully I don't miss anything.
Wilze D Wild, great work man!It could be smaller but besides that it was a great episode.I,and I am sure others too,am happy to hear that you are willing to make more :)
I've edited 688 down to 9:30 minutes! This may be going to far. If you ignore all the abrupt cuts it has really good pacing though.
Id like feedback on whether I should do this or just take out the 2 big filler scenes each episode seems to have.
I'm just trying to get it to render properly now
Well a few very short filler scenes dont really hurt me personally, but given that the Dressrosa arc is so GODDAMN long as it is already, just get rid of them all lol (unless theyre really really good/funny/useful..but when are they ever?).
One Piece Filler Free 688. Tell me if there's to much editing going on here.

I´m downloading it right now! THANK YOU so much! As One Pace said before, I rather have the episodes without any scene or filler that did not appear in the original manga,no matter how funny, interesting, etc may be, so I vote for cutting all the filler xD
Even if some scenes can be used as transitions or similar (the manga sometimes goes too fast, at least I think it, for example with the flashback of Scarlett, but I prefer it to be short than have almost 5-10 minutes of it like in the anime haha or like with Doflamingo and Law´s pasts, there are some filler scenes that I liked it a bit, but they don´t appear in the original manga, so I couldn't help to feel that they were there just to make bigger the drama, but I don´t think that is was necessary, it´s sad enough already)
Thank you again!
I think the editing is fine, you can countinue like this :)
Another great episode by parappa!Thank you!
Since the project is abandoned, anyone wants to help me organize all the one pace torrents properly by arcs, ultimately creating batch torrents for future viewers? Without the site, they are now on nyaa without any order to keep track of, some not named properly.

first: Thank you! Amazing cut.
Second: I am confused by all the different people throwing cuts around. Which episode by whom is what now? are you all working together?

No, everything else in uploaded in the past month or so have been lone efforts by different users.
Also kinda weird how this thread has lingered even though Galaxy9000 has evidently moved on from One Pace entirely and is now being used as a platform for separate attempts. Maybe some of these new efforts should have their own page to better keep track of them?
A good idea would be a new thread like "fillerless one piece" or something, with one pace archive in the first post and then all the new attempts posted there.
Wonderful, thanks!

that would be an excellent idea. especially since the one pace homepage doesn't seem to work anymore.
would also be immensly helpful if next to the pace corrected episode it would be written which episode(s) it corresponds to.
Hell, I know the anime's not perfect and I'm already prepared to swear by the manga for the rest of my days but at this point I'm too invested in Dressrosa to NOT get a well paced version of it available to the masses. This arc just has too much important shit happening in it, you know?
But if a new thread does get made just be sure to link to it here so we can all move together.
nwm, fixed.

Thanks mate!
About the thread, it'll be just harder down the line for people to navigate in this one. I mean new thread is in the exact same place, just without extra 50+ pages to get here. Plus the One Pace archive in the first post would be nice to have without the site. The more people see it, the more seeders there are. Already working on it.
Thank you so much parappa! downloading! ^^ I would love to have the 2 episodes together and with the opening like Wilze D Wild did ** 20-30 minutes for each one (when you combine them) is pretty good :))
689 already!?Parappa,you are the man!!Thanks dude :)

EDIT: Okay, I love you, how can I subscribe to you?

New thread is up guys. Full archive in the first post. Feel free to post your edits.
Finished uploading the 2 combined episodes of unofficial "One Pace Dressrosa 27".
I posted the link both here and in the new thread. This one flows together VERY well.

Yea, it's gone for the foreseeable future… :'C
I've managed to recruit a new editor for the project. We'll be continuing with Sabaody Episode 7 here soon, so there's something to look forward to.
I'll probably make a new website in the future, but not now.

Aw, sweet! Maybe you can recruit one of the guys that have been trying their hand at "filler-free" One Piece edits? That is if you need any more help.
Seems rumors of the death of One Pace have been greatly exaggerated.
OOO, Good to hear Galaxy! :D
I (probably) never lost hope!
And best wishes to your new editor as well.
Great news! Christmas came early.
I'll be updating the archive in the other thread just in case.

the ones already made by alasta are excellent. Can't you guysjoin forces instead of making cuts of already existing versions?
I'm guessing the reason is because One Pace's long-term goal is the whole series post-Enies Lobby.
The two cuts can co-exist, can't they? It offers a better variety in case someone prefers one cut to the other.
It is great that you are continuing with Sabaody. As for Dressrosa, are you going to start again after 25 and ignore what has been done by (other)fans or just do what they have not edited yet?
Will you consider working with them in the future? It would make things easier.
Hi guys I'm Feeso, I doubt you remember me but I used to be part of the One Pace crew as a checker. I am now taking over as main editor for the project (at least till Sewil comes back XD).
Thank you very much for your patience everybody, we hope to be back up and running soon. I'm happy to say I am now finishing up editing Sabaody ep 11 so hopefully 7-11 will be released soon (after we go through quality checking and timing that is).
Sabaody 11 will be the last episode in the arc so we'll probably move on to another arc afterwards.
As for the question about Dressrosa, the current intention is to start again with 26 and go forward however atm we are dedicated to completing Sabaody so stay tuned for that.
If anybody that's been working on the other cuts wants to help out, we're open to it. But there are a few things that'll need to be changed, like editing software and the timing of the subtitles rather than hardcoding them. Plus other quality control measures.
So if you're interested, shoot me a PM with your Skype name and I'll add you to our group.
I've remade the Trello board. Just as before, it will be the main place to see our progress.

I thought the plan was to wait for the OST for Dressrosa to become available after the arc was over (or close to it) to make music editing easier. Not that I mind the change much, just pointing it out though I guess you were already aware of the reason why One Pace put Dressrosa on hiatus in the first place
Also, are you guys doing one arc at a time or going back and forth from the new episodes and older ones? I would have assumed Amazon Lily & Impel Down was next on the agenda after Saobody.
@Mr.:

Once we're done with Sabaody, we'll probably move on to Amazon Lily (which is like a 4-5 episode endeavor).
We'll be continuing to wait for those Dressrosa soundtracks to release before continuing that. The only switching between newer and older I can see happening at the moment is between the war saga and the CP9 saga, and possibly continuations of the early series from time to time.

You guys cut the video with vegas and then retime the subtitles manually afterwards right?
You guys cut the video with vegas and then retime the subtitles manually afterwards right?
Yes, that's correct.
yeah thats such a pain in the ass, its no wonder it takes you guys so long to release.
i was just cutting the whole video, much rougher but infinitely faster and less rage inducing.
Very happy to hear the project is continuing.
One Pace is one of the best things I have learned about in recent times. Helps with getting others into watching OP (since the overall number of episodes would be less) and just helps for better…well...pacing, obviously.
Thank you for your continued awesomeness One Pace crew.
Long term lurker but I had to register to express just how impressive I find this community. The original One Pace guys did such a fantastic and professional job fan editing these episodes to make them enjoyable for those of us who really want to enjoy the anime but couldn't due to the poor pacing. It really helped me bring my SO into the show and bond over. That said, when I read that the one of the editors had disappeared and the One Pace project had been put on indefinite hold, possibly to never come back, I was saddened. In any case, regardless of whatever reasons, I respected it and was greatly appreciative of the efforts. When I saw others, most (?) who had never done anything like this, pick up the mission and continue on with putting out some paced OP episodes, I was blown away.
It appears that One Pace will be continuing on once again for now but either way, I am incredibly appreciative of the hard work everyone has done. It had always bummed me out a bit to see those who were never quite happy with what was cut or this or that and entitlement from some. But good on you guys/gals. Sorry if this all comes off as a bit of sentimental drivel but honestly, I think both the original One Pace guys and all those who picked up to carry on with it deserve max kudos and all the appreciation they can get. In a perfect world we'd have good, official well paced One Piece, but such is not the case and I am grateful to those who put their hard work and own free time into making this happen. Cheers!

I accidentally set my chrome to open up this app in windows player but it says it cant compress the codec, is there another way to view it short of me having to install like 5 programs and rewire my computer lol, or if you happen to know howto change the default app for opening downloaded files on google chrome
It would be appreciated, because I would like to see this

Your best bet to view files encoded into the x265 codec is to download the KCP. It's worth it for everything, trust me.
To change the default program that'll be opened, just right click the file and open up the "open with" menu. You can select the program you want to use there.

Thanks and there's three options
Which one should I select?
You forgot to mux the fonts into episode 8. When comparing the font styling between it and any other Shabody release the difference is immediately apparent. That said all one has to do is extract them from 7 with say MKVcleaver, add them to 8 in mkvmerge, hit mux, and they're good to go.
