Luffy sounds like a pedophile. Zoro sounds... Well, like in "Dub Piece", Sanji sounds too... I donno, happy and carefree.
Actings not that good either. However, if they ever got better, this dub wouldn't be too bad.

Wow that tashigi voice is the coolest thing ever. The voices are good IMO, but the acting needs work. Hey its like the oppisite of 4kids :laughs". I think 4kids would top singapores dub if the used the original bgm, but it doesnt.
I really have no problem (well a little) with luffy not how its really pronounced because I used to pronounce it that way until I came to this forum actually >>.
Now heres a question if you could make a dub with using the 4kids va's and singapores va's who would you use.

Here's my critique on all the voices and everything else.
Luffy: He sounds like he's going through a never ending puberty.
Zoro: Since everyone has said Dan Cox. I'll say he's trying to sound like Solid Snake (but failing)
Nami: More like a bitch then the 4Kids version
Buggy: He's alright. But very odd.
Usopp: He's good, but a little squeaky.
Sanji: Anything is better then David Moo. That's all I'll say.
Gin: I laughed when I heard his voice. He doesn't look Mexican… does he?
Smoker: He's probably the best.
Tashigi: I shook my head in shame.I like the fact that there's no skipped episodes OR synthizizer music. I also like that they censor Sanji's cigeratte instead of just turning it into a lollypop.
So... Singapore >>>>>> 4Kids still.

Are you sure that's the singapore dub? Why would it have subtitles? The quality of the recording sounds very fan-dubbish. Until I see proof, I don't see any reason to think otherwise.

In any case…pretty bad. XD Always a plus to have the original music though.According to the Wiki. A Singapore company called Odex produces an English dub that has low production values but is preferred to the 4Kids dub.
I have no idea what the subtitles are for.

Well, if this is the singapore dub, just going by the voices and acting alone, I don't prefer it. Even most of 4kids acting is better.

I would rather watch the 4Kids dub than this dub. They pronounce so many things wrong in this dub, like hara kiri, Luffy,and Sanji, and it really gets annoying. And why did they spell it Zorro in this clip but in the other clips they spell it Zoro?

Hmm…its wierd, I like that dub a tiny bit. If they fixed Luffy's and Zoro's voice, pronouce Luffy and Sanji right, and said Gum Gum/Gomu Gomu instead of plain Rubber, I would actually WANT to watch that if it came on TV. It is LOADS better than the 4kids one IMO.

Zoro-Dan Cox emotionless mode.
Nami-A bit more b@tchy at times..

Anyway, 4Kids' dub voices would be better IMO if Usopp's voice was less squeaky, Sanji's voice actor stopped trying to talk with a Brooklyn accent, Luffy's voice was just a little bit lower, and Robin stopped talking with an accent. Also, they need to stop using so much freaking puns.

Usopp's voice is the only one I actually liked in the Singapore dub. The 4kids version makes my ears bleed…
Originally being a dub fan, I like Sanji's accent.
Luffy's voice does need to be lower, but I don't mind Robin's all that much.
As for the puns, my personal favorite would have to be Zoro's "Smokey the boar" line. Dear lord, poor Zoro...

Yeah, Robin's dub voice is really good. IMO, it's the best Strawhat voice. I was just saying that if she didn't have the accent her voice would be close to perfect.

That song was really good. I wish they'd use the "I'm really really stuck on you" though. Same with 4Kids' We Are! dub, they should've used "We are, we are on the cruise! We are!". Someone should do all 6 of the openings dubbed. Id like to here a good dubbed Kokoro no Chizu.

I'm saying this specifically for those kiddies who really HATE having to read subtitles, and would rather watch something in their own language.
