Making my own game these are my first three worlds:
1-1 Goomberly Hills

This world introduces a lot of the very basic abilities such as ?-blocks, bricks, jumping on enemies and entering pipes as well as the ability of pipes to spawn stuff. Also the fire flower is introduced as well as the star.
1-2 Forest Goomb

Slowly rising the difficulty spike we learn that also enemies can spawn from pipes. Besides, the raccoon power-up is introduced as well as the p-switch.
1-3 The Mushroom Tops

We meet new enemies. As the names suggest the previous stages were inhabitated by Goombas. Now we meet Koopa Troopas and learn how to kick their a… shells.
1-4 Goombas Grand Galley

Time to refine what we've learned. Time to burn some poor Goombas as well as kicking some more shells. At the end it's time to fight the biggest baddest Goomba of all of them by showing off our previously trained basic skills.
2-1 Central Koopark

After we survived everything the Goombas could pull off it's time for some new adventures. We refine our shell kicking abilities by getting remembered that the shells can also destroy bricks. Also we are introduced to the trampoline. And there the bouncing begins.
2-2 It's a Trap

The thumpnail doesn't suggest anything good by showing Bowser Jr., Kamek, a Lakitu as well as two Hammer Bros. However, right at the beginning a Kaizo Trap knocks us down leading to an underground area where we have to deal with only one enemy type - Buzzy Beetle. Also the corresponding helmet power up is introduced as well as note blocks.
2-3 Attack of the Koops

Time for some puzzles. We have once again to deal with bricks and kicking shells - together with using some note blocks and trampolines in order to actually hit these shells. We also have to climb some vines here refining our climbing skills.
2-4 Hookbill-Naval Notable Node

Having enough of all the bouncing it's time for one final test of our skills. As the level name suggest there are quite some note blocks. However, no real precision jumps are required (maybe one or two if you go for one optional path). We also are properly introduced to conveyor belts as well as how p-switches can affect them. At the end it's time for the final fight against some old foe seeking revenge for what a Yoshi and some little baby once did to him. And he even has a friend sharing his feelings.
