So i want to re-read this manga but don't know where to find good quality scans. Anyone have a link for it? Or is the mangareader and Bakabt versions are the only ones available online?

Things like this, jojo., db and fist of the north star are hard to find good scans.
I'd recommend a trip to your local public library and try your luck.

Has it ever been revealed who won the Nationals? We know Kainan finished runner-ups but not who beat them I assume it's Meihou with that monster freshman beat them in the finals.

Yeah I assumed that too. Really wish we could have gotten a sequel series with Sakuragi and Rukawa facing off against Meiho and Hiroshi, who was pretty much the ultimate combination of those two.
My personal fanfiction for what happens afterward is that Ryonan edges Shohoku out of the Nationals Sakuragi's second year. Then in his third year Shohoku and Ryonan manage to oust Kainan, with Shohoku winning Nationals and beating Meiho.

Hiroshi was a monster he was like Sakuragi growing at a frightening pace. I bet Meiho crushed everyone they faced in the Nationals.

Hmm, if I remember well, when the best player of the other team returned to play again his team got massacred and was only by luck that they weren't able to make a come back. I don't believe his team won the tournament.

Even before Moroboshi went off injured Mehio were leading Aiwa by 19 points. Mehio is the only other team that makes sense who won Nationals also Morishige is like Sakuragi improving every single day so that gives Mehio a huge advantage.

The reason was because Hiroshi fouled out (since he's stupid like Sakuragi), though that could have also come into play in Nationals.

Losing by 19 points in the first part means little. Shohoku was loosing by worse than that(if I remember correctly) in their last game.
They basically caught the other team by surprise and the big guy was injuring the other team players.
Sakuragi wasn't improving every single day!

I don't remember well, but I believe that the turn in the flow of the game was before that happened, and while the other team star returned to the game, not when the big guy fouled out.

Moroboshi returned after Morishige got fouled out. However, even Aiwa got Moroboshi back, they still lost to Meihou since there was already wide points difference.

However, that didn't happened when Meihou fought against Jousei

Aw yeah, no better excuse to reread the series again. I hope this movie is where they finally adapt the Sannoh game.
