Really needs a better active battle system than "random passerby". Dedicated option for battling would have made more sense.
Pokémon ORAS and Spinoffs: We Go!

There is an option for requesting battle and when you do that you can determine the ruleset. I used to do a lot of 6vs6 but nowadays i do more VGC (4vs4) and you can find groups in facebook that center all around battling where you can share your FC.

There is the battle spot, it's just not 6v6, but flat rules instead
-
Oh shit, i owe someone a pokemón here right? I don't remember.
-
Sometimes people are doing other stuff, I haven't played the game recently but sometimes I'm breeding eggs and I get people asking me to battle all the time when my team is a Talonflame and a bunch of eggs.
Filling your Battle Box can help out it that case.
Although in my case, no passerby ever requests a doubles match so I always have to decline since my stored Pokemon wouldn't do too well in singles. And singles is boring.

No, it's not >:3

That's what I've been doing. People have even accepted my challenges… then for one reason or another I ALWAYS get disconnected before the battle actually begins…

So, fun story.
I lost my Pokemon Y cartridge about a month or two ago. Couldn't find it no matter how hard I looked.
So today all the snow melted so it was my job to go clean the lawn of garbage that collect under it. I notice something strange on the grass and apparently it was my Y cartridge. I had no expectation of it working, considering its been under snow for month(s). Expectations dashed as it is still functional.
Time for me to start breeding again!

It seems your cartridge has some thick fat.
God, i need to stop with this.

I know this is asking for too much but does somebody have a spare Ability Capsule?

Yet another piece of evidence that all Nintendo-products (except the Nintendo 64's analog-stick) are indestructible.
…Yet my old DS fell on the floor and the top-screen broke clean off not too long ago. Though it still works perfectly, so yeah… Guess that too proves Nintendo's über-resilient production-methods.
EDIT: Oh, and after my previous complaint that I couldn't get any fights going, I went and changed my in-game message to "Epic battle?" to make it clear to other people that, yeah, I'm totally up for Pokemon-battles. And just now I was challenged to two of them in a relatively short timespan. First a triple-battle against a dude who used ONLY legendaries (including Primal Kyogre, Primal Groudon and Mega Rayquaza out at the same time… Nice job having all of them neutralize each others' abilities dude... The remaining three were the Unova dragons)... I lost that one. Then a guy with a more reasonably balanced team challenged me to a 6-on-6 double battle. I won that battle through clever strategy and switching-out and such... I will say the main reason I won was because the opponent kept making bad moves though.

All those combinations of Proto-Groudon/-Kyogre, Mega Rayquaza, a mega and another Pokémon in the current torunament -_-"

but you can't use mega rayquaza AND another mega. I've actually beaten quite a few teams of using legendaries with my team with none
-
Yeah I beat some of those as well, but it takes the fun battling if two legendaries are allowed. But it's satisfying beating those teams ^^
-
That second battle I mentioned in my previous post did also have a legendary in it though. Namely Mega Mewtwo X. I just put all my focus into fighting that one alone and was able to take it out relatively quickly.
EDIT: No wait, looking at my recording of said battle, he actually had two legendaries. Mega Mewtwo and Virizion. Though, Virizion is one of those legendaries that are actually still usable in the Maison and ranking battles and such, right? -
-
Oops, forgot about this tourney….

Yup, you can you all the minor trio Pokemon like Virizion normally. But who in their right mind would use Virizion. That's my second favorite legendary but it doesn't do anything remotely well. Probably still better than Cobalion
-
Oh shit, i owe someone a pokemón here right? I don't remember.
It's ok I eventually found someone. It was the hardest Pokemon ever to get too! 3 other people went silent after our agreement to trade, lol.
-
Don't mind me… ;_;
Oh shi…

It can destroy Mega Kanga, Rotom and severely dent with close combat. It is pretty viable in the right team.

Virizion's weak physical defense is nothing that Mega Kanga can't handle. You're better off using something with better grass movepool/offensive stats to destroy Rotom. Chances are it will survive anything besides a crit leaf blade. Close Combat is better on manymanymanymany other fighting types. And it doesn't even have a priority move… That being said, their
trioquartet has speed going for it at least. I still like Virizion a lot despite its litany of shortcomings. So much that if I ever get REALLY bored, I could consider soft resetting for a shiny. Or I keep my sanity and just buy a plush doll -
I'm at 13 wins to 17 losses.
Not bad for me lol -
I'm at 17 wins, 13 losses, so the opposite
-
Today's the last day of the tourney for Lucarionite guys. Just reminding you. Also, Shuffle is so frustrating T^T

I seriously hope they distribute Lucarionite later on. My score was 7096. The most hard thing about Shuffle that I've encountered are the last 2 Mega Evolution battles I faced. Mega Ampharos and Mega Glalie were way too hard. Had to farm coins to beat Mega Glalie with Mega Start and Disruption Delay. And thankfully I somehow got lucky and caught Moltres who was a big help.
My shiny Legendary Hunt is almost over on Omega Ruby. Just need a Shiny Heatran and I'm done. Then It's off to get the 5 Alpha Sapphire-exclusive Shiny Legends. Also got a Shiny Buneary. Not too keen on it's ability though (it had to have Klutz).
-
It's kinda weird fucked up that Nintendo has us beating the shit out of a dog and then giving prizes to the ones that did it better.
-
I think I'm safe, my best score was 9.5k which had me at 20800 today in the morning but I finally was able to get a complexity-1, got 15k rating and now I'm at 1800 place, I'm assuming I'm going to get it.
-
Goddamn, i can't go pass 8,000 T^T
-
Are you guys using the home button trick? Basically it's just pressing the home button every time you make a move, and you get an extra second or so to plan your next move. This works on the expert stages too, you can keep a single combo going the whole time easily on the 15 second stages.
-
Ew Pokemon Shuffle. In other news, Smooth broke his MM acapella streak
-
Decided to buy the upgrades just to see how high I could place and…
[hide][/hide]EDIT: Clarification, I meant "buy" with coins earned in-game. I haven't spent any real money on this game and don't plan to.
-
you guys even have Xerneas? D:

Yeah M-Glalie gave me the hardest time. No way you can beat it without using extra items at the start.
-
I'm going back to ranking. i suffer less there.
-
Well I ranked in the 60,000's for the Lucarionite Challenge. Got my Jewel for the participation. Also more Main Stages have been added and Keldeo is the new event Pokemon with Pachirisu being the first daily Pokemon. You also get a free Disruption Delay to celebrate the 2.5 million downloads.
Got to Rustboro City on Alpha Sapphire. Might see about transferring over Pokemon from Y and Omega Ruby to make things go by smoother.
-
Wow, i caught Keldeo with just like 14% chance. It almost makes up for when Whimsicott escaped even if had 90% chance…
Almost.
-
Hmm got my Lucarionite and that Disruption Delay but no jewel …
Also I kind of expected Groudon as the new event and not Keldeo but I'll take it.--- Update From New Post Merge ---

Damn Keldeo is hard for me rigth now, I did Kyogre pretty easy but left Keldeo at like 20% hp.
I guess I need to finish the story mode(or the old one since new levels were added), I'm still stuck in mega gengar.
Edit: just noticed my electric/grass types are level 1 only, that certainly doesn't help with Keldeo lol, going to try to capture Ampharos so I can mega it and level the others, Mega Lucario is OP, just did Charizard and Blastoise EX levels super easy thanks to Lucario.
-
Alright. Mega Gengar is an unfair little ****. Moves +5, Mega Start AND Disruption Delay and I run out of moves while he has a teeny tiny sliver of health left. Screw you Mega Gengar. On the bright side, I caught Keldeo, Pachirisu and a few more Expert Stage Pokemon.
Up to Slateport City on Alpha Sapphire. Trying to get a good Ground-type to trump Wattson.
-
Had trouble beating Keldeo but after a while I finally beat him and caught him on my first try.
Now M-Gengar again …
-

I finally beat him also but didnt capture him, need to level my pokemon so I can do it easier, I'm doing it with 3 level 1s and one level 3.
Same been stuck here for a week but I haven't done it a lot latelly, because Keldeo and other stuff.
-
When does the EX stage for Xerneas appear? I'm in mega mewtwo and it still hasn't appeared.
-
According to serebii you need to S rank 100 normal stages
-
Yeah and Mewtwo is S rank 150 stages I believe.
-
HOLY…I'm totally going back to rank. At least i get to pummel people there.
-
Time to go back and replay some earlier stages I guess.
Instead of wasting my time trying to catch the challenge mons which are near impossible.
-
Well I have almost no problem catching those expert stage mons … Besides Swampert and Blaziken I've caught every one up to Entei.
M-Lucario and M-Ampharos are helping a lot though. -
I had issues catching the expert levels but today I decided to take a different approach of rapidly connecting the icons together without thinking about the clock or the opposing pokes health bar as a result I caught 4 of them (all below 20% catch rate) I also choose Slowbro as my mega evo poke cuz I can just keep rapidly connecting icons and not worry about trying to get mega evo perks cuz it just adding another Slowbro to the board. So far it's working pretty well.
-
Went back and S Ranked a few earlier stages and I now have access to Raikou. I think I need about 10 more S Ranks to unlock Heatran. I wanna try and get Xerneas just in case they drop Rayquaza as the Special Event Pokemon next and maybe catch Yveltal to help out with Mega Gengar. On the expert Stages, I've only caught Absol, Rotom, Lucario, Zapdos, Moltres, Venusaur, Blastoise, Charizard and Sceptile. I've beaten Swampert, Dragonite and Raikou (somehow) but I gotta catch them.
My Shiny Legendary Hunt on Omega Ruby is finally over. Heatran showed up shiny and I've now got all 23 Shiny possible Legendary Pokemon. Now to get those 5 Shiny Alpha Sapphire Legendaries.
-
Finally beat M-Gengar! Needed items worth of 4000 coins though …

I used the disrupt delay today and beat it also, was Eevee always part of it or was it added in this new patch? I dont remember it being there before.
