Oda isn't building up to any sort of emotional departure with them.
With Usopp and his little crew, Nami's Island, Sanji and the other chefs, Chopper and Kureha, or Franky's family, we had a ton of time with those characters first to get an emotional farewell, and Jinbe has gotten bits and pieces built into the Fishman Island flashback, but still haven't gotten to his actual flashback proper.
Oda hasn't built to that at all with Bart's crew. We saw more of Law's crew in like 1 chapter on Sabondy than we have in 80 chapters with Bart's. (And Bepo was extremely memorable)
That's one way of knowing he isn't about to try and play that emotional cord. You have to look at it from a story construction point of view, NOT from a "I like this character" ideal.
I mean, people are just completely dismissing the dozens of Bart/Cavendish parallels and match ups that make them equals and underlings and not crewmates because…. ?
Also. Please stop using "other people might use this argument so your point is bad!" when it is actually you making the argument. Pretending other people support and also have your idea and you're just repeating it doesn't make your actual case any stronger or your denial less nonsensical.
